I Always have fun here with My friends. Could have more options for food though...
Super disappointed with our experience. Our appetizer came out with all of our food, our order was wrong, sauces were left off, fries and French dip were ice cold, drinks were left empty for a long time, and the list goes on. The restaurant was nearly empty and there was staff everywhere and they just really dropped the ball. It’s such a cool place with a great drink menu so they have what it takes to be successful if they step up the service game. It was down right pitiful. There is no reason for cold food on a super slow night.
Love the place. The service can be better. The punch bowl was cool. I have no complaints about the food.
For a Monday, at lunch, when it is poring rain, I would have expected faster, more attentive service. There wasn’t another table in our section. Food was very good!
It was great for my husband and kids. It was his birthday
Girls night out. Great time... only negative was the 3-hour wait for all the activities except board games.
Food was very mediocre. So if you going just to have fun, that's ok, but don't go for the food. Bowling is more on the expensive side and on the weekend you only get 1hr. Drinks where decent. It is a bit noisy. But we had fun overall.
I made a reservation three days in advance and the table they saved us was small and not nice. I was embarrassed since it was a birthday party for 6 turned into 8. We wouldn’t have enjoyed brunch because the table was too small so we left.
After a long time to get any service. Our server was great!! We ended up eating in our laps at the bowling alley. I ordered an 8 person bowl that didn’t really have much alcohol in it for the price. My burger was fabulous but my friend ordered the breakfast with bland fried potatoes. It looked terrible. She said it was A flavorless breakfast platter.
I just wasn’t impressed. Just another place to grab food. Nothing spectacular.
Service was slow and food was below average
first time there. crowded & noisy but nice.. our server was great.
Server was awesome but the food wasn’t hot. This is the second time I’ve been and the same thing happened. My sister had to send fries back and my tacos weren’t hot. Drinks were very weak as well. Music selection was good and it was cool to play a game. That was the fun part
My company was beyond great, so that might factor into this review. I would say the food was very good. I've had better, but there was nothing wrong. The service was fantastic. They were attentive without being persistent. It was loud. But it's supposed to be loud. The place is incredible. There are so many things to do. People watching is unparalleled.
Good experience, service was good.
Food was tasty but the portions were small for the price
Hard avoid here. Was incredibly chaotic. When we finally found the hostess table in the middle of the second floor they were very rude and even though some of our party had been seated and i showed them our reservation they insisted that we were in the wrong and would not honor the reservation (for which they had seated some of our party already!) and said it didn't exist and that i should go look myself.
The food was atrocious, I ordered the super greens salad and hte quinoa was "crispy" as in undercooked. The salad was drowning in a rancid oil that made me sick.
The "games" were all taken by a private party or were broken. The board games which we thought would be fun were poorly taken care of and had tons of pieces missing.
Spend your birthday dollars elsewhere
Our waiter was great and tried to make up for the kitchen MESS. In our party of 8, 1 order came 30+ minutes later (after all 7 other people had finished eating for quite a while). My goodness - it was just tacos.
My son put the ketchup on his burger and then declared the burger inedible. The waiter agreed that the off-brand ketchup they offer is bad and he won’t eat it either.
I really want to like this place..... but.....
The only negative I have is that it was difficult to play many of the games even though there was very people there.
Wow!! We had the best time at Punch Bowl Social. First interaction was with our waitress MIA!! She was outstanding she was very attentive quick and had great conversation. She was also on point keeping us aware every step of the way about our orders. Mia was amazing. Next we interacted with Alex how was also a wonderful delight. Alex was extremely sweet and thorough. She even stayed a little late to make sure we got everything we need. She was also very friendly. Those two made for a great interaction. The food and drinks are very tasty. There wasn’t a morsel left and all drinks were drained. Now just the activities alone with the exception of a couple of kinks with the bowling and pin setting machines we had a great time. We casually moved from one activity to the next (there are an abundance) there is something for everyone board games etc. Ambiance was good. The lightning was perfect even the level and kind of music was popping. We can’t wait to our next trip there.
Fun filled evening
Go there for the atmosphere, not the food. The menu left a lot to be desired -- nobody at our table of 9 enjoyed their food all that much -- but at least it came out to our table quickly. This place is a fun concept for a night out. We used one of the private karaoke rooms which was great. The multiple bars were also great with a good selection of premium liquors. NOTE: parking in the red parking lot is free if you are there less than three hours.
The service and the food was delicious. It was a bummer there was an event downstairs so we were not able to play the games below. However I will definitely try to come back again especially for the mac n cheese.
I was very excited to take my teenagers there (3 of teens + 2 parents) but doubt I will return. It was confusing at arrival. The downstairs was closed with no one to direct you as you walked into restaurant. Though there was a work of art on the wall to indicate there was upstairs dining, it was not lit, so I assumed it was an art piece. I had to guess downstairs was closed and the restaurant was indeed open. No one helped my kids get equipment to play the games. Waitress would leave before getting everyone's order ( this happened multiple times). Seemed like plenty of staff but our waitress could not be found several times - though she was certainly nice enough when present.
We had some issues for brunch. All in all, the management stepped up and comped some food and discounter the rest of the bill. Cold entrees, lackluster wait staff, delayed entree. I haven't given a poor review in a long time but this one was deserved. It's a great place to go for fun but to waste a family brunch there was maybe a mistake.
The place is nice and the music is good. However, the menu could better. The drinks taste HORRIBLE!!!! I sent the first drink back and I tried a simple Bacardi and sprite.... somehow they manage to ruin that too. The place has the potential to be great, but only if the hire good bar tenders. People go for the ambiance, but it’s the alcoholic beverages that keep them coming back.
It was my daughter’s 12th birthday celebration. She and her friends had a wonderful time
The concept of the restaurant is great, the ambiance and setting is great, the food & service is meh. Our orders came out far apart, luke-warm, and they took forever just to bring a salad. The place wasn't even busy. The manager came by to ask how everything was and didn't even seem like he was concerned when we told him.
Amazing 😍 it’s soo pretty and fun!
Came for brunch for a bday party! Service was okay, our server was not engaged and had no idea about the brunch menu because she “works nights”. But unpleasant
Food was average, lacked seasoning but def had potential.
Best part was the games lol
Only disappointment was that the big games area was closed for a private event which wasn’t made known to us in advance. Otherwise it was a great experience and we will def be back.
Absolutely the worst service I have ever had . It was so bad as to be laughable .
Food was pretty good, I had the KO burger with an old fashion. My wife had the poblano Mac n cheese, but took over twenty mins to receive our drinks. Service is very slow... have to go back and check out the games over the dining.
Server was fabulous. Smiling and efficient. Handled a large group with ease
This was supposed to be a family get together . An engagement (daughter who flew in from Seattle) celebratory dinner /fun night. I personally visited the place twice to ensure there would be no glitches with confirmation that they would be open normal hours. They confirmed twice they were. Few days before I stopped by again to-make sure everything was good. Reservation was for 6:45pm and I receive a call at 2:30pm that they were closing at 8pm. Despite the huge scrambling(I was working) we got there for 6 . Manager Malcolm wasn’t accommodating with the time( one member of our party didn’t make it in time from airport for the occasion) and firmly told me I am leaving at 8 . He’s not sticking around!
I thought - is this how you talk to customers????
I appreciate and respect that it was Christmas Eve, hence my intense searching for a venue that would be open until 10 at least.
Our special evening was ruined!
Drinks were way overpriced! $10 for daiquiri that was gone in 4 sips was a bit ridiculous. Menu was tiny, and the first two items I ordered they were out of! They did comp my meal for the inconvenience, but truly nothing special about this place except for the location and the the games inside. Very disappointing.
Kids birthday/friends get together. First time there and everyone enjoyed their experience.
I’ve been to Punch Bowl several times because I absolutely love the atmosphere. However, the quality of the service can largely impact the experience, and that’s what negatively impacted my group’s experience yesterday. The server didn’t visit the table frequently enough, and once the food was served, everyone was not served at the same time. There was a gap of almost 45 minutes between seated guests being served their food within the same group who ordered at the same time. And on another note, because I am a girl who loves ketchup, my own personal pet peeve was the off brand ketchup they served that tasted like spaghetti sauce. It was AWFUL. Didn’t eat my fries because of it.
Disappointed to say the least! Our office made reservations in November to celebrate our Christmas Party at Punch Bowl , having heard it was fun with plenty of activities . Well when we arrived we were informed that ALL activities were booked for the evening. So that was the first bummer, 2nd the food was one step above Applebee's I had to send mine back because it was wrong , had to flag down our server whenever we happened to see her like 4 times. There was no lack of employees , several were standing around chatting so that was not the problem. We made the best of the evening but I definitely think some management needs to be reevaluated.
The venue is cool. The drinks were good. Food portions of the tacos are a tad small, but we had appetizers to start so I had plenty of food.
Terrible service and experience
The food was good. It is one of those places where you have to know what to do or take someone who has been there. It looks fun with all the activities going on...bowling, pool, darts but there is no real understanding of how to do it. You just kind of hang around and then hope you grab it before someone else does. It is also really loud which you expect but it is not easy to have a conversation.
