Food was decent but kitchen messed up our order and couldn’t get it corrected. Hopefully, just a bad night for them.
The most unbelievable tasty “bar food” I have ever eaten. Hummus. Tacos. Appetizers were visually and tastefully delicious.
Went last Sunday for Brunch. The elevator was broken so my elderly parents had to walk up the stairs which was difficult for them. The service was VERY bad. My dad ordered a beer with his meal and we asked our server several times and she finally brought it with one more bite of his hamburger left. The avocado toast was VERY bad. It was guacamole on a piece of bread. I sent mine back. Not good.... The waffle was just a waffle so no comment there. The eggs were runny and under cooked. I would never go back to this restaurant to eat!!!!!!!!!!!! We all had such bad meals and the service was poor. Food came out cold...... We are very disappointed and definitely will NOT recommend this one to anyone I care about.
The atmosphere was fun and enjoyable. We loved that we could sample a drink before purchasing. The cheeseburger was one of the best that I've ever had. The only down-side were your prices. A little too expensive on your drinks and games. I understand your prices are comparable to the other restaurants near the ballpark, but they are still a little high. Overall, we had a good time.
A friend and I went for early morning brunch on a Sunday. I ordered coffee and it was delivered lukewarm. I informed the waiter and he promptly brought back hot coffee. Both my friend and I ordered the monkey bread french toast. My friend requested extra crispy bacon and the bacon had to be returned for more cooking. After it was returned, the bacon still was not crispy but we did not return the bacon a second time. Both of our monkey bread was doughy and under cooked. While this venue may be highly entertaining in the evenings, our brunch was very underwhelming. We won't be returning.
Girls had fun while the guys went to the game. :) First time in ATL. Great atmosphere.
I found a piece of plastic in my shrimp burger, the water stopped working in the restrooms, and the waiter spilled water on me when refilling my drink.
On Saturday, 7/6, my friends and I had a great time. When we walked in, the greeting by Brie (Bree?) was great. She was very helpful, knowledgeable and was kind. The atmosphere was amazing, the drinks were delicious & the "i love you so much" photo corner was excellent. Our server, (can't remember her name) didn't quite have the energy to match the energy of Punchbowl at all. That would have set the experience over the top. Overall, we had a great time!
Thank you for hosting us & for bringing Punchbowl to Atlanta! :-)
PS...add a few vegan options...I'll be back!
Great atmosphere. Food for brunch was tasty and at a good price. Our server seemed to be having an off day but mistakes happen and it was nothing big. I would definitely go back again and maybe later at night with friends for all the games!
Very chill atmosphere with Great Food and drinks. I Love the games and the noise level is perfect! I’d definitely go again!
They actually switched up their menu that took me by surprise. The impossible burger was one of their greatest hits that they had, and I hate they removed it. Overall, the food was ok. I had the shrimp burger that was a 6 out of 10, but the drinks were good. Overall it’s a great place for a friend’s get together
Absolutely fantastic! I had a milkshake and the falafel "burger"...I'll definitely be going back.
Great place to hang out and reasonably priced meals. Ordered chicken and waffles and it was as a major disappointment. Chicken was dry and waffle was cakey. Willing to go back and try something different because it’s a really dope spot.
DATE NIGHT RUINED - We arrived at the "restaurant" in time for our reservation. BTW this is NOT a restaurant. It's like dining...inside a frat house or club. The nauseating smell of old beer is everywhere with drunk people running around. Anyway we walked up to the 2nd floor as the Bouncer at the front told us to do and promptly seated within 5 minutes. We sat for about 20 minutes, and nothing, no waiter, no water, nothing...while we saw other tables seated after us being visited by their waiters. I had to go up to host stand to see if a waiter was assigned to the table. The waiter finally came after the host physically went to find her. The waitress took our drink order and came back to take the food order. The food started to come out about 30 min later. The drinks hadn't arrived, so I requested the waitress to check on them and she said they are coming. I asked again 10 minutes later, and she said they are coming. Finally 45 minutes after we ordered, I called the waitress over to cancel my drink and to please bring the check. She said my drink was cancelled already, and I asked why? She said they no longer serve CranpaJack (the FEATURE drink on their menu). How stupid! Cross it off the menu or tell patrons prior to ordering. The service was absolutely annoying - we wasted most of our evening out trying to find the waiter or get their attention. This crappy service might fly if there's a game going on, but we went at 10p on a weekend night and half the restaurant area was empty. Will never return even if meal is free. OT/Priceline should reconsider this restaurant as it is SUBPAR for quality of restaurants expected and should be removed as a listing
The atmosphere is very inviting and for your everyone. The kids enjoyed the set up and I do like how they have places were you can sit upstairs and downstairs without reservations, but also have a place for reservations. The kids played with the different games the place provided and had a nice time. We didn’t get a chance to eat here only ordered drinks because we had a taste for something else but will be back to give the food a chance.
Good food and good service. Got the chicken and waffles, friends got shrimp burger, and chicken sandwich. All serves correctly. Didn’t drink alcohol though.
Great place for date night or to hang with a few friends
Great place to have a good time with friends and the burgers are Excellent !!!!
The service and food were absolutely fantastic and would definitely refer
We had a team event for 10 people to go bowling. Our server was very nice and the bowling lanes were great.
Good ambience! Great server & host. Not the best experience with the manager because he wouldn’t change a tv to the opening night of play off basketball. No one other than my guest were sitting in the area of the tv and he still declined our request
The food was great the service was terrible. It took the waitress 15 min to come over to us and that was only after I walked over and told the host no one had waited on us yet. There was no apology from the hostess or the waitress for the wait either. The waitress walks over and says are your ready to order? Like wtf. So rude. Then we don’t see her for another 15-20 minutes. Some other random waiter comes over and asks if we’re ready. I don’t know what happened to our original waitress. I wanted a second mimosa ordered it from the waiter. It never comes so I walked over to the bar myself and asked for one. I told them I ordered one and no one ever brought it to me which their response was to just stare at me. I then asked if they could just make me one. One of the bartenders goes over to another waiter and says something. He walks over to us again no apology for never seeing our original waitress during all of this and asks us if we want to go boxes?! I said no I just ordered two more mimosas from the bar because our original waitress never came back. Again no apology for that from anyone and it felt like they were basically telling us to leave by asking if want to go boxes. The whole exchange was bizarre. The food was really good but the service was so abysmal that I will never be back.
It was great!!! First time there and will be back for sure. So much to do but highly recommend reservations for sure.
I went to the Punch bowl for my birthday although we had an good time we had more than a few disappointments. First off it took us almost 2 hours to get our food. They said they lost the food tickets but who knows. Then when we got the food it was disgusting. The only thing that was good was the fries and quesadillas. I booked the table for a party 10 and a few extra people came. The staff was so not accommodating. We asked to get a few extra seats but they said no and never came up with a solution for us. So we took chairs from other tables without permission. The karaoke was fun but the mics kept going out on us. Due to the fact that I had a great group with me that made everything fun I did enjoy myself despite the many disappointments. I would only go there to drink and play games...nothing else!
The first time we went to Punch Bowl Social, we had the BEST time. Sat outside, had great service, and the food was delicious. The next, and most recent time, we took some friends from out of town because we had bragged about PBS so much. Unfortunately, the experience was nothing like the first. The service was terrible, the "punch bowl" we ordered was not good at all, and the food was mediocre (they took the cuban sandwich off the menu which is a total shame.)
A 45 min wait and asking 3 times for an appetizer of chips and salsa seems a little crazy for me, especially when you get a little attitude back from the staff. Also, when they serve your food in a cast iron skillet and you are hesitant to grab it, don’t worry, the servers will give you a hard time about you NOT knowing that it’s room temperature. Like I should know it’s not burning hot, like 99% of all other cast iron skillets.
Pretty good place. Just need a few more vegetarian and vegan options.
Drinks were okay.. lFirst server was pretty good.
This place is a pretty cool. The food was good. The server was a little slow and wasn’t very personable. We didn’t get the chance to play any games but me and my friends will return again
Went to Punch Bowl Social with my daughters for Easter Brunch. Our server took our drink order. They have lots of yummy juices, coffees and alcoholic drink. My daughter ordered a latte and it was delicious and served in a very large mug. I ordered a juice and was told they were out of ginger. Since most of the juices had ginger and they didn’t have ginger I opted for water. My daughters ordered the hummus plate and the spinach and kale strata and I ordered the chicken tacos. The hummus plate came out first, then 10 minutes later the strata. After 10 more minutes I flagged the server over and ask about my tacos and the server seemed surprised that I did not have my meal. I told her if they weren’t ready that I will pass and split the hummus plate as it was a lot of food plus we had rosemary fries which were really yummy. By the time I got my food everyone else was finished and I was ready to go. They didn’t charge me for the tacos but I didn’t eat them either because everyone else was finished with their meal. The food we had was good but the service and the kitchen staff leave a lot to be desired.
OMG WE HAD A BALL THE GOOD AND THE GAMES WHERE AWESOME WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK
This was my second visit. The menu changed, the food was horrible! The service was horrible. 2 people at our table didn't get their food, until everyone else was finished eating. We even had 2 additional people added to our party about 45 minutes in, they were finished eating before 2 of the originals received their entrees. I ordered the chorizo fries, they were just fries with mircrscopic pieces of chorizo, and a tablespoon full of monterey jack cheese with like 3 lbs of fries in a metal mixing bowl! We had to flag down our server to get any service, she seemed on it at first, but I think she didn't write our orders down and that's how things came out so late. Anyway, management was called over and apologized. Big whoop! Please bring back the lobster fries! I like the concept of some healthy options, but the old menu was so much better!
My friends and I stopped by PBS after an event we'd attended. We had a reservation but a few extra people joined us at the last minute. PBS quickly accommodated our additional guests. The servers were attentive, knowledgeable and swift with bringing our food. My group had a wonderful time! I'll definitely return to Punch Bowl Social! Next time I will bring my husband and children.
Great food and great service. My husband and I really loved the Trout sandwich. We had so much fun with being able to not only eat but play board games as well as bowl. We definitely will be back.
Had a reservation for 10 went two weeks ahead of time and select the table for a surprise party. Got there early after a hour or table still wasn’t read very disappointing what is the point of a Reservation
This place has a great concept but could use some improvement. We had reservations for 6, but needed a table for 8 at the last minute. They told us there were no other tables available, but were happy to grab 2 extra chairs and cram us into a 6 person table. I would have been fine with these accommodations, had there not been 4 tables and 2 giant booths nearby that were UNOCCUPIED THE ENTIRE 2 HOURS that we were there. Really, you can’t make room for us anywhere else??
The food and drinks were pretty top notch, but it took a solid hour to get our entrees. And the tacos are TINY. The tortillas are the size of a coaster and they only give you 3. Not super filling. At least they tasted good.
I was most disappointed at how difficult it was to do any of the activities after dinner. Granted, we were there on a Saturday night, but there was no way to reserve or schedule a game. You just have to stand around and wait for other people to finish and then stake your claim. We ended up playing ping pong because that’s all that was available. Based on the website, I thought this was one of the free activities, but I must have missed something, because we had to pay $12 for an hour. I wish they had a better system for this... maybe sign up for a time slot or something. And why not half hour slots, so more people get a chance to play?
Overall it was fun and great atmosphere but not as great as I was hoping.
It was really fun! Perfect for our large party.
The food was delicious as usual!! Service is always good as well.
Friendly staff, the food was responsibly priced and tasted delicious!
