Price fixe dinner was creative and delicious ! Especially loved the desserts
Great staff and great food.
Very delicious food and great service! The chocolate torte was amazing!!
Food was delicious but served cold
Great service in a cute spot! Food was yummy - the desserts were delicious (chocolate torte and olive oil cake), and one of the starters was a real standout (carrots). Fun to have a daily changing menu!
Food is good but choice is limited.
Amazing tasting menu that changes all the time. All four in our party loved each course!
Loved that place, the food was delicious, liked the BYOB spirit too, but avoid tables next to the window, it’s freezing
Wonderful meal. All the food was delicious and so well put together.
really delicious food and warm, friendly service. best shrimp and grits ever! nice that the restaurant is BYOB -- we started with champagne and had a nice white burgundy with our meals. only downside is that it was a very loud crowd the night we were there, so it wasn't easy to have a conversation.
Very, very good. All three courses were excellent (lamb toast, pasta with pesto, panna cotta), especially the pasta. Service was completely satisfactory--staff were clearly busy as the restaurant was at capacity but were friendly and efficient. Will definitely return for special occasions.
The whole experience was very nice, they had great food and a friendly staff.
We were underwhelmed with the flavors. There are better 3 course meals in the city
Great food, intimate ambiance. I like their focus on local and sustainable ingredients.
Great seasonal menu with a variety of choices (veg, fish, meat). Food was delicious and service was quick. We sat inside and the ambiance was cozy- perfect for a small group of friends or a date.
The food and service were, as always, impeccable. Such a joy to have this in the neighborhood
Our meal was absolutely delicious. Probably one of my favorite meals since moving to Philly in 2020. The portions are generous, the flavors are complex and you can tell there is a lot of thought put into the preparation of each dish. All of this made even better since it's BYOB and the price (at $50 for a 3-course meal) can't be beat! We came here as a pre-celebration for our wedding anniversary and will definitely be back soon with friends.
Amazing prefix for $50! Love the fact it’s BYOB too. The staff was great and the interior is really beautiful. Definitely recommending it to everyone visiting Philly!
We've been back to Pumpkin many times in the last two years, thanks to the creative menus and comfortable (and safe) outdoor dining in the streetery. Always a consistently great experience.
This was a delightful dining experience. The food was unique and well prepared, the service was great, and the overall ambiance was intimate and romantic. This is a great spot for a special date night.
Excellent all around!
Food was great all around.
We ate outside, so ambiance was OK for a pandemic, but we would definitely go back.
Outstanding food, service and value, in a cozy atmosphere.
Omg. Amazing. Perfect from start to finish. Absolutely can’t wait to go back!
Amazing! The lamb, duck, and quail were fantastic.
Love the menu
Everything we had to eat was terrific! Lovely outdoor setting!
Excellent food and service.
Great experience great team yummy inventive food.
Food was obviously of a very high quality , interesting presentation without being too showy, but each course tasted somewhat bland.
Highly recommend - this is another great BYOB in the city.
We had a great time. Food was inventive and uniformly good with good size portions. We plan to return 2-3 times per year. The barriers to coming more frequently right now is the limited choices on the menu and value. Service was very good and they responded to our request to substitute an appetizer for a dessert, since neither one of us are big dessert eaters, but they did tell us that this was not a request they could guarantee in the future. The Beet salad was especially good.
So glad they survived Covid! Food, per usual, was perfect! We’ll be back. Only negative…noisy!
We so enjoy Pumpkin! While it can’t be as frequent as we’d like, we do meet friends there a couple of times a year. This time, I tried the quail as a first course—so delicate and tasty. Good reports on the beet salad, mushroom soup and mussels escabeche. I had the always delicious flank steak, but heard from the others that the pasta, swordfish and duck breast were also perfectly prepared and mighty tasty. We all had the pana cotta, always a light yet rich finish. Kudos to the chef!
My boyfriend’s birthday was coming up and I did a lot of research on best restaurant in Philly (within my budget) and this consistently came up. We both have a deep appreciation for food and every course delivered! The duck breast was the most incredible dish, and I’m sure we’ll continue talking about for the next week. When making the reservation, I selected “special event - birthday”, but was not expecting anything extra. For the final course, our server brought out the dessert with a candle in it which was a sweet touch. We sat outside and enjoyed the ambiance. Will come here again!
Food is delicious. We had a mushroom soup that was unlike any mushroom soup I've ever had, marvelous broth, delicious vegetables, flavorful, just wonderful. I'd go back just for that soup, although everything else was great as well. My Wahoo was perfectly prepared, my husband's duck was excellent, desserts were fabulous. The food was marvelous, and our server was a sweetheart. I can't say enough good about this restaurant. It was suprisingly great, yet healthy because there were so many interesting vegetables in everything. We both really enjoyed our meal.
I can't believe it took us this long to dine here.
We had an early dinner before a theatre, greeted by very friendly host Janet.
They have a 3 courses menu, changing daily.
They're thoughtful throughout the creation and presentation, through to the last bite.
I was totally in love with all my dishes, but their chocolate cake is out of this world!
And I usually don't like deserts .
All in all, this is definitely one of the best place we have eaten in Philly.
We'll be back, Pumpkin!
Everything at Pumpkin was amazing! The service is outstanding. The only dish we didn't like was the Flank Steak. The tomatoe base sauce with the farro did not compliment the steak well. Overall, it was an amazing experience and we will absolutely visit again.
Everything was amazing! The quail and duck were so delicious. We sat outdoors and it wasn’t nearly as loud (being on south st) as I thought it was going to be.
Pumpkin is perfect. The menu and the service is always divine.
