Great food authentic Italian experience . The tiramisu is to die for!!!
Great meal - friendly and attentive service.
The food was great. Everyone needs to be made aware though. The bill came and I handed the waitress my credit card. When she returned there was an additional 4% charge added for non cash payment. No where on the menu or did the waitress tell me that there was a surcharge for credit cards. I was not happy that I was not made aware of this. I would have paid cash.
This place is a keeper! We will be back. The appetizers, bruschetta and grilled vegetables were incredible and we loved the meatballs so much that we put in a second order. Our homemade ravioli were light and melt in your mouth good as well as the gnocchi and Tagliatelle! Our son had a steak cooked to perfection with fries. Not a bite left of anything! We will return to Pulia!
A pizza joint trying to be an Italian restaurant. Rocky tables while the owner loudly repeats call-in pick up order over the overly loud boom box. We had to ask the staff to lower the volume several times so we can have a conversation, only to have the volume turned up again each time. The food was very disappointing also. We went here because it was the only available choice for a last minute reservation. Now we now why. If you want pizza, this may be your place. Although. we didn't try the pizza.
Food and service excellent, friendly atmosphere.
Ya ya was the best server EVER! And the owner is so agreeable and pleasant. Basic food done well and with heart.
Yaya was AMAZING! Food was great! Best place to take my mom for an early Mother’s Day! Will definitely be back!
Pros: Service was excellent and food was delicious.
Cons: Pricey given portions are on the small side and everything is a la carte.
Don't forget to BYOB.
The owners / chefs were the. MOST AMAZING people I have met so far. Such friendly and fantastic service, such great food - fresh and succulent simultaneously!!! A big shout out to Pulia, one of the best Italian restaurant I have dined in, in the East Coast and the BEST in Atlantic City. Keep up the great work folks.
A new restaurant for me - will go back - great food & service!
One of my favorite go to places at the shore. Food, service is excellent, always a friendly atmosphere.
Had a fabulous dinner with friends the other night. Veal Milanese was outstanding, along with the pizza, salads, and arancini. They changed their menu from the last time I visited and there is a much wider selection. Pasta looked fantastic too. Looking forward to going back and trying more on the menu.
Reservation recommended, Courteous service, excellent food, Pasta was the best I ever have tasted! Delicious Caesar salad.
BYOB, incredible vocalist provided a lovely ambience. I highly recommend and can’t wait to return. Fairly priced. Looking forward to ordering the Pizza. What is saw looked amazing
Food and service were excellent. The only problem that we had was birthday party at another table. They hired a singer for the party held in the only room in the restaurant. She was extremely loud. I have hearing issues and it didn’t help my ear problems. She was a good singer but I wished she realized it was a small room and her amp should’ve been much lower. I hope future entertainers would tone down the sound.
This was our first time at Pulia. The food was tasty and the service was wonderful. We will be going back,
Food was superb.
Best pizza ever!!!
Staff is really nice , food is excellent, the only thing you need to know: bring your own bottle.
It’s shame to no enjoy a good wine with this delicious food.
Will come back soon with my wine 😋
We have been to Pulia many times and have always had a good experience. However, our latest visit was just average. Not sure why they were out of synch but getting food out was a challenge. Nonetheless, we will come back since past experiences have always been very good.
We were in town for business. And look this up on open table. The place was cute. I think the pricing it was OK. I had the gnocchi which it was a smaller portion but adequate and it tasted very good. I love the sauce. We did have the fried calamari appetizer and I think compared to other restaurants the portion was quite small. .
My date wanted the veal Parm special but luckily the waitress told us it was $50 which seemed a bit outrageous. So he got the chicken Parm instead. Our food took quite a while but we were OK with that and the waitress was very friendly. However the chicken Parm came out completely in edible it was completely burnt and a very tiny portion which we had to send back. We don’t really understand how the chef could’ve missed that it was so burnt it could not be cut with a knife. When he remade it the portion was larger and it was very tasty
Excellent food, service and very reasonably priced. Love this place.
We ordered pre-fix meal. I had the baked eggplant, salad with pears, and homemade pasta with mushrooms. It was amazing and tasted like I was back in Italy. My husband got a salad caprese, calamari salad and grilled bronzino fish. The calamari and branzino was fantastic, cooked perfectly.
The staff was very friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to go back!
I didn't like the menu at all. It wasn't enough food for the money. The food was bland. Just not a good experience. They did change their menu for valentine's day. So maybe it is better on a regular day
The place was great and the main hostess and waiter were awesome but the chef thought it was ok to walk around the dining room and deliver food and talk to customers without a mask on. Not even an attempt, he didn’t even have one on his neck or chin. I would come back for carry out! Pizza was great. But that’s a big issue and needs to be fixed
The best pizza and pasta in the city
We went to Pulia on Christmas Eve and everything was perfect. The best pasta I’ve had in a long time, cooked perfectly al dente. The entire staff was amazing and both chef and owner came around a couple times to make sure everything was Ok. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had ever. Highly recommended.
The best food in the area period. Great owner and service.
keep coming back!!!!!!
dinner so good last night ....I came back for lunch next day.
Upon entering, everyone had a pleasant greeting for our party of 4. Service was outstanding and food was excellent. Very nice, enjoyable spot in Ventnor.
The food was really delicious, but to be honest- it felt like enough precautions were not being taken for Covid-19. We sat outside and there was a musician going over to tables singing with a guitar and no mask. He was respectful when we said we did not want to be serenaded, but it drew into question how seriously the restaurant is taking Covid-19.
Great authentic Italian food. Service was friendly and efficient. Definitely will return to this gem.
Great food great service a must for dining!!Highly recommend It price right home Style cooking feel like I’m in Italy. Have to try to meatballs egg plant chicken in the oven was delicious!
Food was average and service was awful. Took at least a 1/2 hour to take our order when the restaurant was not busy. When food came out, it was brought out of order. Server admitted to her mistake. Chicken was dry and over cooked. But appetizer and dessert were good. Will not be back.
I think the food is excellent. In addition our server ya ya was outstanding. She went out of her way to make our experience even better. Service like that is hard to find. We will be back!
The best authentic Italian food, nice decor and wonderful service
Super enjoyable family dinner at Pulia this past weekend. Looking forward to trying other items on their menu on our next stop.
No hostess to greet you on arrival. Stood in the doorway for 20 minutes before anyone would stop to help us. We had a reservation for 7pm outside and nothing was available outside so we agreed to sit inside. Took 15 minutes for someone to get us water and open our wine. Took over an hour to receive any food. Our appetizer never came out. We informed our server it never came out when he brought our entrees out after an hour and a half of sitting down with no food and told him we no longer wanted it. He brought it anyway and then charged us for it. Branzino special was gross. It was covered in marinara sauce and the fish was not de-boned. We will never be back. Don’t waste your time.
We frequent Pulia.... unique food and Italian cuisine. The owner/manager frequently walks around meets quests so be sure to grab him for a chat!
authentic and delicious Italian food, the best meatballs appetizer, beautiful decor authentic Mediterranean byob restaurant
