This vibrant privately-owned Italian on Hope Street in Glasgow is a great alternative to the chain-restaurants of the world - the food here is moreish and authentic, and the smiley service is a breath of fresh air. The dining room at Pulcinella is a cosy mix of red and white gingham tablecloths, bric-a-brac and lemon walls decorated with colourful frescoes, and the space is perfect for group dining, business lunches and office parties. A quiet early evening meaning attentive and friendly staff who were happy to humour us. Meal was all lovely and cocktails were yummy and reasonably priced. Set menu great, but I had to go for the tasty tiramisu from the main menu for my favourite dessert. Will return!!!!

As always with this little gem the meal was excellent, I invited 5 work mates along for their first experience and all were of the same high opinion that the staff , service , food and atmosphere not forgetting the wine we’re all fantastic

We visit here every time we visit Glasgow and have never had a bad experience. Lovely food, lovely staff and excellent value for money. Our favourite place to go!

Had a la carte menu, 3 courses. Food was good & service. Would not say anything special or above the average Italian. The set menu looked like value for money. For that we would return - for a special meal, wouldn’t chose again.

Really enjoyed the meal we had. We had the early evening menu which is well priced and had a good choice of dishes for both the two course and three course option. Will definitely be back
