Nice place but the food was not par for what they were charging. You are definitely paying for the ambiance, which I don't midn but do expect to get decent Taco's and salsa at a Mexican place know for it's Taco's and that was definitely not the case here.

We ate here before the Ed Sheeran concert on 9/16/23. We had a reservation for four and arrived ten mins late. They seated us promptly giving us grace for being a little late. The restaurant was very busy (as I’m sure everywhere was that night with 80,000 fans attending the show) and the service was a little slow but we gave ourselves plenty of time so it wasn’t an issue. It was also totally understandable since they were very busy. The food was excellent, we ordered a spread with chips, salsa, guacamole, various tacos, and potato taquitos. Let me just say I had never had a potato taquito and would never have thought to order them but my friend ordered them and they were delicious!!! My favorite taco of the ones we tried was the fish taco, the fish was a white flaky fish perfectly cooked and it had great, fresh flavor. Prices were very reasonable for the food esp considering the location in Santa Clara and 5 mins from Levi Stadium. Excellent restaurant - you won’t be disappointed!

We loved this place, we took a place at the bar which looks very nice. We had dinner and drinks which were delicious and Antonio was taking very good care of us. Totally recommend.

Love this place! Great atmosphere, decor, people, drinks, food and service. The only downside is that parking is nigh impossible at peak hours, but there is a valet option as a last resort.

Visited on Taco Tuesday and had a wonderful time. The servicer provided recommendations for food and drinks. I enjoyed their house IPA and one of their special tacos that is not on the menu....think Surf and Turf taco.

Very cool restaurant! This was our first time. Both hostess and waitress were accommodating so that we could enjoy our special occasion. All of our food was delicious. We plan to return for HH, much more affordable.

Puesto’s food never seems to disappoint. We love their tacos and look forward to the fried cheese. Sadly, the service always makes us feel extremely rushed. They run this place like a well-oiled machine, which some might like if you want to be in and out under 30 minutes…but since the prices are super expensive, most would want to enjoy their meal and their company. Wish they wouldn’t try to turnover so many tables so fast. It’s such a large restaurant and costs are already high, that it would be nice to have food coke out one at a time and not have everyone rush us out.

My second time here and it wasn't as good as the first. We were seated in area with little ambience and a few flies hanging around. Chips and salsa came quick; drinks came slow. Food was good. They do add a 5% service charge, which I don't like at any restaurant.

Great place for a vegetarian! The guac, mushroom taco, and Verduras taco were all flavorful and delicious. Even though I was filled, I ended up ordering another Verduras because it was SO good. The margs and mocktails were very tasty - kudos to Jonathan. Having not been here before, I was impressed with the overall unique look of the place as well as the service from Jonathan and the entire Puesto team, especially as it got busier throughout the night. It's now on my list of go-to places whenever I'm in the area. I can't wait to go back for more!

Both beef taco (filet mignon, and rib eye) were delicious. The carnitas had good flavor, but the the lamb was probably my least favorite. My wife said that the watermelon shot was refreshing and tasty as well. Chips and salsa had good flavor, but the salsa lacked some spice.

The servers had to us 4 time to notify us they had ran out of a specific food item, that we had to choose something else. 4 DIFFERENT TIMES!! The waiter announced last call so we ordered 2 beers. It took forever, so we asked if we were still going to receive them. The waiter raised her voice and told us she had already announced last call. We had placed the order WITH HER at last call, she entered it in, her assistant even noted that. I can’t not believe we had to explain ourselves!!!! I mean, our bill was $808 dollars!!!!! Our server was rude, we ordered a few drinks, tacos, nachos and 2 kids quesadillas, they ran out of specific types of food like barría and even for simple things like my daughters coke refill and the beer situation the service was too slow. This was for my moms birthday. It was a horrible experience, we are never going back.

We were looking forward to our first visit for a group of 8 to celebrate my wife’s birthday was somewhat of a let down. A handful of appetizers we wanted (chicken flautas, Birria) we’re not available. Plated Dinner items (enchiladas, short ribs), Horchata (a Mexican drink staple) how can a Mexican restaurant run out of all these items??? 😞
