We had Erika as our server and she is very pleasant and made sure we get the services we needed. She keeps on checking on us if we need anything. All servers should be like her. Food was great and the ambiance is superb.

Pros: -the space is stunning, the bar is huge, we had a great big corner booth for our party of 5 -we were seated immediately -food is good, especially guac, birria, and tamarind shrimp tacos -service is friendly, our server was especially great Cons: -although we were seated immediately, we weren’t greeted at our table for at least 15 min. We didn’t have a server was and we had to ask for water (once we were assigned a server, she was very nice and attentive) -although food is good, it’s over priced. I will only be back for taco Tuesday when tacos are half priced

The employees were so sweet to me on Mother’s Day. It was a rough day for me and they did everything they could to make it better. It was truly the best experience I’ve ever had. I felt so loved and cared about by the staff. I am so grateful for them and all that they did for me while dining at puesto.

The guac and classic margarita were delicious. I didn't really like my ceviche much (zarandeado, it came in a weird thick red sauce) and my friend's skirt steak plate was too salty to my liking but she enjoyed it. The place was much bigger than I expected, with a huge bar. It felt like a very hip cafeteria. It seemed the host forgot about us after we checked in. When we inquired how much longer the wait would be, she was startled and took us right to our table. Our server was great once we got seated.

Dined on taco Tuesday which was great. Loved the tacos. Good service. Beer sampler was excellent-got to try all of their brewed beers. Seated for our reservation on time.

We were shocked at how bad the food was and for the insanely expensive prices. If I'm paying $38 for 2 dried out enchiladas (no rice and beans), I certainly shouldn't have to pay for chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant. The chips we paid for tasted like they were out of a bag from Costco. The tamarind shrimp tacos we had at $12 a piece had a sickly sweet BBQ sauce that was very off-putting with the guacamole under the shrimp, and the quesabirria taco didn't come with dipping sauce. The only things we actually enjoyed were the cocktails and the potato taquitos. Unfortunately, our service was so bad that we never had a chance to order a 2nd cocktail before we were done with our dinner. When we told the waiter we didn't particularly enjoy the meal, his response was, "Yeah, sometimes it's like that." I never write negative reviews as I usually have some grace within the service industry, but I was so shocked by my experience I felt compelled to warn people. I do not know how this restaurant stays in business! We will definitely NEVER go back.
