Puckett's Pigeon Forge
Great atmosphere. Everybody's food was great except mine. I love meatloaf but I couldn't even eat but 3-4 bites of it. Hard edges, texture was off, and flavor was ehh.
Great food and lots of it. No room for dessert, darn it!
Everything we ordered was good, brought out quickly and served hot. no complaints
Party of 7. Great value for the amount of food. Great tasting food, especially the meat. Plan on visiting again.
I ordered the special country fried steak with 2 sides. I received a tough small fried ribeye steak instead of the cubed steak I expected. I received green beans only and not the mashed potatoes I ordered. After tasting my wife's potatoes I decided I did not want them anyway so we will not return. A shame because we were excited about this new place to dine.
Excellent dinner! Entrees were delicious and dessert was amazing!
Our steak wasn’t cooked properly. We asked for well done and it came out a step above rare. They were out of Diet Coke. The noise level was so loud you couldn’t talk to your party with out leaning over and talking in their ear. The service was good and most of the food was excellent. We will go back and give them another try next time we are in town.
Great food and service!
I have been to the Pucketts in Franklin and enjoyed it. This location is newer and apparently is having some growing pains. It lacks the character and charm of the Franklin location and adds nothing in order to make up for it. We were seated late despite having reservations and noticed a waiting room full despite having multiple open tables. Service seemed to be having a bad day and was basically aloof. I had to ask for items that were not provided with my meal and when delivered, only delivered to me and not my husband as well. We gave up at that point. After receiving the food, the waiter told us he was getting a big table so it "may be a while" before he got back to us. We ate and waited for the check. I even went across the street to another store, shopped, paid and still hadn't gotten the check. Ended up having to ask a manager for the check. Food was ok. Similar to other "country-style" in the area. Decent pricing. All in all, I think the restaurant could improve with better management and staff.
Service was way too slow even though there were many vacant tables and we had a reservation. Servers didn’t seem to know what was going on. Food was just okay, which does not go with the cost. It’s like a sports bar now. It was better when it was a Denny’s and the best when it was Partridge and Pear.
Made reservations online for two, my mother and myself. Chose a later time than I wanted because online I was led to believe they were busy. Showed up 20 minutes early to find many tables open but still waited 20 minutes to be seated. Still, everything was fine as far as I was concerned. Sat near the fireplace so that's why I give ambience a higher rating. Still chilly though.
Ordered the fried green tomatoes. Four tomato slices were brought to the table. An extra was brought out by the waitress because there were supposed to five. Ordered half-rack baby back ribs, collard greens and a house salad for my mother; a ribeye with mashed potatoes w/gravy and flat iron green beans for me.
My mother's meal was fine, according to her. But the ribs looked very dry. I did try a bite and I must say they had flavor but I still think they left them a little long on the fire. Mine on the other hand was a different story. The food was warm at best. The steak that sat before me reminded me of one of those steaks you buy at the store that are pre-packaged in plastic; shot up with tenderizer. It was no more than a quarter-inch thick and had lots of tendons in it. It did not come out rare as I ordered. Very disappointing. I ate everything with a smile on my face though because I didn't want to ruin my mother's dinner by making a big deal of it. Also, about half-way through my meal, I ordered a milkshake with vodka. (It's on the menu). I had already finished my meal before the waitress came back to give me an excuse why it wasn't there. Told her not to bother with the shake. It wasn't busy at the time so I'm still not sure why it never came to me.
This is only the second review I've ever given about anything. Maybe the lunch menu is better but I'll never know because I won't be back. It was a $65 lesson. In good conscious, I could not even leave a tip. I don't stiff wait staff normally. The whole experience was bad. I won't recommend.
Excellent service and food. Such a good addition to Pigeon Forge!!!!!
This is one of my new favorites- great for adults and kids as well!!!!
We made our reservation through Open Table, which was the way to go. Walk-ins were waiting over an hour. Food was great--I loved my smoked wings with dry rub! The meatloaf and pulled pork sandwich were good. The brisket cheesesteak sandwich was phenomenal! Our server was really friendly and attentive. The only negative for us was the lady at the front-- she kept telling everyone about the party of 25 they had coming in. Nobody cares-- just tell them how long it's gonna be! (She was fairly unprofessional in the way she spoke with her staff and customers-- we kept joking about how much Gordon Ramsey would hate her.) We'll definitely be back!
Food and atmosphere was great. Will revisit. Also like the ability to reserve online.
First visit and enjoyed it.
Pleasant surprise that we were able to hear the live band.
They were able to seat our group of 6 adults, 2 children, and 2 babies with no problem. Service was quick and efficient. Food was great!
Disappointed that they ran out of the Cajun cornbread. We were not told this and were not offered a substitution of another item.
Cool place for dinner and music.
Love Puckett’s! Have enjoyed locations in Franklin, and the new location in Pigeon Forge did not disappoint. We were lucky to get in without a reservation for an early dinner. Now my husband is a fan also.
Disappointed with fried chicken. One drumstick and one thigh for $15? Expected at least a breast.
Food was excellent. Was a touch pricey for the type of food. The Staff is nice. They are still a little green. Can be noisy when the live music is going. Overall a great experience. Will definitely return on future visits to the area.
Was greeted as we entered the restaurant, seated quickly, the food was amazing, our waiter was awesome!!! Would visit again
We came because it was the grand opening and our son, Wes Lunsford and his partner (The Young Fables), were playing live music. We had eaten at the downtown Nashville Puckett’s in the past and really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We were excited about Puckett’s opening in Pigeon Forge close to where we live (in Maryville). We were very pleased with the food, service, value and especially the live music! We will be back!
We were there for the Ribbon Cutting and stayed for Dinner afterwards. Great Venue with music. Would recommend very highly to everyone.
New Restaurant just getting their act together but the food was great. The staff hustling and our server Johnny very good
Only had been open a week when we went. Great service, great food, bar wasn’t fully stocked but that’s understandable. Can’t wait to go back
Nice relaxing, homey feel. Piggy mac is my favorite, oh and the BBQ pimento cheese bits.
This was our first visit to Puckett’s Pigeon Forge. We were happy to see they had opened as we always enjoy the restaurant in Nashville. The server was great, I hate I forgot his name. We ordered the salmon and prime rib (was a nightly special). The food was excellent and portions were perfect. We will definitely dine here again when we are back in town.
Second time to enjoy your Pigeon Forge location in one week. We live close by and tried last weekend and then had guest visiting so decided to take them to experience Pucketts! The food was wonderful and our server,Colin is amazing! Thank you
They are brand new but service, food & ambiance were all perfection! We’d always heard great things about Puckett’s in Middle TN & this absolutely lived up to our expectations. We all had something different & each item was delish! Fried pickles app, BBQ sandwich, brisket nachos, sliders, brisket burrito, & kids chicken fingers - all were fantastic & we would all get again. Waitress was fantastic. We’ll be back!
It was our first time to experience Puckett's in Pigeon Forge. We are local and was happy to see you accept reservations! The service was prompt, the food was incredible, and the serving size was larger than anticipated; therefore we left knowing we received a good value. The only complaint was the collard greens were a tad too salty and we did not eat them. We ordered the BBQ dinner and meatloaf dinner. And of course the pound cake to share to round out our meal. Our server was perfect, friendly but not overly attentive. We will definitely return.
Had a blast with great food! Soft opening was a smash hit outta the ballpark in my opinion... only sorry we didn’t get our servers name to compliment him. Definite on my list to return again and again!
