Our Beginnings was a plate of Bruchetta and that was amazing. Services was on point and consistent. There was a drink I did not like but was able to trade it without any problems. I ordered the Rose Penne, the server did warned me it would be spicy. But I loved it and it’s the perfect spicy.
Angel was our waiter. He is a master at his trade. All the wait staff is pleasant & friendly. Easy walking distance to the Golden Gate Theater. An exceptional spot.
Early dinner reservations and the restaurant was fairly empty so we were seated quickly. Service seemed slower than it should have been given the number of patrons. Food came out quickly and was tasty. Portion size was good to hearty. Happy Hour crab cake could have used a bit more crab and less filler. Fig Pizza from the main menu is a favorite.
Paco is excellent. The food was superb! And their wine list is not shabby either! I love this place.
Met during a protest across the street. No one disturbed....
Our waiter Elvis, the best. Good recommendations.
Soup salad, sandwich....all good.
Check it out
The food seemed good. Salad was fresh, but didn't really have salad as a meal option unless you wanted to add meat. Not many dairy free options. Everyone else seemed happy though. Portions for non-salad options were large. Be warned the gentleman behind us was very upset because the lasagna dish did not have any meat in it. So if you order the lasagna, don't expect meat. It's a nice cute place, the menu is definitely for cheese lovers.
The food was amazing!! Tasty & yummy! Service was great!
Swift, attentive service and delicious entrees - I am.glad we paid another visit to Puccini & Panetti.
Delicious food. It's been over 5 years since I've last been able to visit and they did not disappoint. The food was delicious and didn't disappoint!
Too noisy, food uninteresting, too much money for too little quality and imagination -- we will not return
I’ve eaten here almost every time I’ve come up to City for theater. It never disappoints! The special of day pasta (all of us ordered) was delicious. Veggies, shrimp, fennel Sausage and Brown butter sauce.
Waiter was excellent!! Personable and attentive.
Must try the fig pizza - it was delicious! Linguine and clams was amazing as well.
P&P drastically changed their menu and removed all of the good, unique dishes in the process. This was a disservice to long time customers. Now there is nothing unique about the restaurant- it feels like a tourist trap with basic food for unsophisticated palates. Sad! Bring back our favorites!
Food was good. Service very slow
Es war sehr laut und das Essen war OK.
Etwas viel Hektik
Very generous portions. Between regular tables, high top seating and the bar, there are plenty of seats
Was busy & full of tourists, understandably due to location. The food was good... but the bread & tapenade might have been my favorite thing. Prices were ok, but maybe a bit high for what it was. Only tried this place for the bonus points... and would go back again for same reason.
Started off slow. Waited 15 minutes despite having a reservation and 15 minutes more to order drinks. Food was great but expensive for what it was.
This is our “must to stop” for our once a year Bay Area getaway-this has been a habit for about 12-15 years now. Exceptional happy hour, selection of foods, drinks, with extra speedy service.
Food was the highlight, as it should be. The wine list was extensive and reasonably priced. Service and decor poor. Overall experience about a 5 or 6 out of ten.
They forgot our reservation - very apologetic and nice about it, but we still waited 20 mins for a table. The food was ok - not worth the prices being charged. Convenient location with lots of seating. Service was good.
I would say our visit was very mediocre. This was a pre-play brunch /lunch. The food was acceptable, but nothing special, the chicken on my spinach salad was very over done. Others found their food just ok.
The biggest problem was that the 4 of us had to lean into the middle of the table to carry on a conversation..way too loud, from neighboring guests to the kitchen activity and the restaurant was not that full.
Look and feel of the restaurant and the menu were good..
Great food and even better service! We loved our server Amy. Very attentive and what a great personality.
Members of my group needed to eat gluten-free and the staff did a superb job of providing them exactly what they needed without compromising the quality of the food or the service.
Its a nice restaurant close to Union Square. Had a nice bisteka and salad and a glass of wine. Service was fast and very good.
But I fount it very over priced.
I compliment your staff on the quickness of getting the food to our large 12-person group! Your food was good but sadly our waitress did not treat everyone at our table with respect. One of my daughter's asked for ranch dressing to go along with her pizza and the waitress scoffed at her and actually wrinkled up her face and looked disgusted and said we do not serve ranch dressing with pizza! I realize that this waitress was from another country and possibly in a different culture they might handle it differently but it still is not good to leave your guests feeling disrespected and irritated by your waitress's poor behavior.
Wonderful place and wonderful food. The waitstaff and management were very responsive when an external disruption interrupted our lunch, and took great care to make us comfortable.
Excellent gluten-free options
We enjoyed lunch at Puccini & Pinetti. But the spaghetti, which was very good, was a huge dish. One serving was more than enough for two people.
My 32nd Birthday! It was very nice! The food was great and my friends enjoyed it as well. Server was a little slow for our speed but he was very nice.
We have been here several times and the food and service continue to be very good. I would recommend this place to everyone.
I had an early business lunch but it turned out that lunch is not served on weekends, only brunch. There were few pasta dishes available as a result. I had the linguini with clams. There was a lot of liquid in the dish. The focaccia was freshly baked. Service was great.
Great service, good brunch food, good menu. I’d go back.
Service was very slow. I think this restaurant could be a good one but they need to hire more servers if they want attract a lunch crowd. Not every lunch can take two hours! We did like the lunch break special. That's a great idea for streamlining for faster service.
We ordered the garlic fries however the ones on the bottom were cold and not fresh. They placed the hot fresh fries on the top of the cone. Very disappointed with this. the meatballs are good.
Enjoyed the pork chop with sauteed green beans. The house red wine was very good.
Stayed in SF overnight for business. Restaurant was close to my hotel and they gave me a nice table even though I was solo. Had minestrone, pizza margarita and two glasses of wine. $53 before tip. A little over priced for what it was, but service was good and I felt welcome.
The food is not worth the price point. The support staff was friendly but our waitress was not good. Took the order for our kids and then came back 15 minutes later when their food was already served to take our order. Not professional either, she loudly called out a declined credit card to the table next to us. Food was not authentic Italian, sauces tasted like something from a jar. Cheese platter seemed like it was bought at Costco.
Wish my husband had been here! Great experience!
