Good experience. Unfortunaly, my table was on a bad spot. No view and very near from waiters space.

Just an average restaurant. It was Mother’s Day and we had brunch. It was nothing special.

Very noisy, the place was only about half full but the kitchen noise, the bar noise and the patron noise belied this.

P&P is our go-to pre-theatre restaurant! The food is always delicious, the servers always friendly and helpful, and they always get us out of there in plenty of time for our show. We love this restaurant!

Always a fabulous place to dine before or after a show. Friendly service and tasty dishes. This visit we had the Chicken Marsala and Frutti di Mare linguine. Both came to the table nice and hot, very generous portions. Table bread is served upon request, do ask for it because the focaccia comes with a tasty tapenade. If you are too full for dessert, choose the adult beverage dessert, like the Port and Cream - port wine poured over a vanilla ice cream, went down sweet and easy!

Came here for colleagues’ bday celebrations. Happy Hour has nice, string drinks. Didn’t have too many options for HH food. Food was excellent, perfect portions. Waiters were attentive. Overall good experience. I’d recommend as well as come back.

disappointed with Margarita pizza. Too heavy with too much tomato sauce - had to ask for parmesan. Made reservation and noted Special Occasion but it was never recognized by staff. Great location but I would have to say overall the visit was mediocre.

Our visit was punctuated by constant attention by the serving staff. The hot water was always replenished with a smile, the table was always quickly cleared and cleaned after someone finished with the meal and the food was delivered hot and quickly after ordering. Loved the ambience and the ability to have a conversation with friends. A place to recommend for the fresh food and the atmosphere that encourages conversation and friendships while eating and drinking.

I enjoyed the physical plant, the service but found the food too salty for my taste and I do eat out quite often. both the entree and side dish of brusel sprouts were over salted
the sorbet was delicious and a good palette cleanser after too much salt.

I specifically requested for a seat close to the entry/egress, but the hostess did not have a clue about such a request. What’s the point of indicating such a request on the online reservation when no one from the establish reads it?

Met a friend I had not seen in ages to catch up. Had portobello sandwich with soup of the day butternut squash...delish

She had prosciutto sandwich and we had a good catch-up.

We came at a weird time beach lunch is not offer on Sundays but we made it just in time to eat from the brunch menu

Waiter was clueless. Did not know specials or menu.
They were out of wines on their list.
Asked for Penne Vodka and was told we had to buy the vodka at the bar!
Table of 10, and was told they could only split the bill 4 times. Finally was able to after complaints. Then automatically added 20% to the bill!

Great food at this place. I went with the special which was Cavatelli pasta and also included garlic, corn, mozzarella, Roma tomatoes, fennel sausage and browned butter. One of the best pasta dishes I can recall! Wife had the Chicken Marsala which was fantastic. we split a delicious warm spinach salad. This is a very tasty place!!

I have eaten at Puccini & Pinetti several times as it is located across from Parc 55 in Union Square. The food is solid. i.e. it is not gourmet Italian ( whatever that is), but rather working class Italian food, well prepared, and what you would expect with a restaurant-bar version of an Italian restaurant. Service was excellent and the staff very attentive. Somewhat expensively priced, but if you are already in the area, worth the walk.

Celebrating a birthday with a friend whose birthday is next month.

She had three course lunch with chicken marsalla and was pleased.

I had beet salad and lemon cheesecake....iced tea all around.

Waiter most efficient and friendly, kept those glasses and water full.

We enjoyed our visit, the meal, the service, and the quiet.

Good location for pre-theater dinner. Nice ambiance and good service; waitress asked if we were going to A.C.T. performance and gave us complimentary bruschetta. Unfortunately the food is average at best.
