Publico
Came here for brunch. Food and cocktails were excellent. Service was lacking. Server was slow. She forgot items requested several times and brought out wrong drinks.
Publico is great when it isn’t busy, but we had a horrible experience on Saturday night. The windows were open and after we were seated, we asked for them to close the one next to us, but it they didn’t and we had to ask again an hour later. Our table was next to the crowded bar and people were bumping into our chairs as they went outside. Some people yelled across our table to ask their friends questions. The waitress was too busy to check on us regularly.
Staff is extremely friendly. Excelente service! Place is beautiful they have a winter lounge
Cute place with a nice vibe. Food was decent. I had an amazing appetizer but the risotto was way too salty.
Great food. Service was subpar. Seemed like our waiter knew she was already receiving a tip due to our party size
Amazing food and service. Highly recommend.
Delicious restaurant week menu! Our waitress was very nice.
Great experience!
Fabulous service; a go-to for nice ambiance and a volume that allows dinner conversation. Healthy menu options to boot!
Great service, it was quiet when we were there because there weren't many other customers but I could see it being noisy with more diners. The drinks to share weren't as good as I hoped they would be. Lot of ice so it basically turned into water.
Fun place for dinner or only drinks. The back bar is super cool with a nice vibe. The apres ski vibe is different and cool.
Awesome brunch. Delicious cheeseburger hash and their standard burger. Great food and service. Love this place.
Food is excellent and different and the space is really well done but the noise level is obnoxious. You have to yell to be heard. Not a great way to enjoy a nice meal!
This is the 2nd time I have eaten here. The ingredients are so fresh! The poached eggs cooked to perfection, hard to find a hollandaise sauce that good.
The burger was outstanding. I think it was all made from scratch. Ricotta dumplings, yummy. Chilequilles, delish! Can’t go wrong with any of it. Great combination of flavors.
Cozy and inviting. Food was delicious (we had fish tacos and the cod). Beer and wine selections were good - not extensive, but well chosen. Staff was welcoming and right on top of everything. The Lodge next door is really cool for hanging out, too!
Great food and drinks!
Great for out of town guests :)
Food was delicious , got the halibut
Upstairs bar is really cool
We had a nice time at Publico. Food was very, very good. Service was excellent! I would absolutely recommend Publico for the food. I will say that the drinks are VERY expensive and not really generous. For that reason, I will not be back soon. In addition, I asked when making a reservation to seat us someplace on the warm side as I was bringing my elderly father. When we arrived we were place in the table closest to the door!!!! It was a cold February evening! They graciously moved us when asked, but it was disappointing we had to.
Great Brunch spot for the weekend! Fantastic food and drinks to match!
Good food, great service in the restaurant. Moved into the upper bar. Very cool space. Great service continued. We’ll be back.
My birthday!
Went there for an anniversary and had one of our best meals ever. Chef Joel Howard even came out to check up on us. Really great guy
I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. The service is always fantastic, along with the food. This is the only restaurant in town that I will order chicken from; the pollo asado dish is simply amazing. This really remains my wife and I’d go-to restaurant of choice.
Great place for Sunday brunch. The food was delicious. We were there for a long time and never felt rushed or pushed out.
Very good food with generous portions. Nice waitstaff, but overwhelmed by the crowd. Good value. Overall, fun, but very high noise level (it was a Saturday night).
The food here is amazing! I went for dinner with my sister. Super cool vibe also. Definitely coming back for brunch next time!
The food was excellent, ambience was fun and cool. I will be back
The service was very strange. It was like a bunch of aliens visiting earth as servers for the first time.
I feel like I've had great experiences at Publico in the past, but my last one was not. Our server did not pay close attention to our table, often forgetting to put in drink orders, etc. and the french toast was really flavor-less. Needless to say, I was disappointed with my latest visit as I've had good ones in the past.
Great food. Fun atmosphere. They have a really nice bar/lounge spot for drinks before or after that’s suitable for couples or large groups.
The best Chicken and Brussel Sprouts I have ever had. This is a hidden gem in South Boston! Great service too!!
The cake bowl was amazing !!! We also enjoyed everything else we had including the Brussels sprouts, hot dawg, empanadas and chicken Asada. Service was great!
Staff was helpful and Kitchen was extremely gracious with dietary restrictions. Love it at Publico!
Food was over priced and not good. Fusion was bad. Mixed drinks were not good either.
Never disappoints! Food is exceptionally prepared and presented.
Second time having brunch here. Food was again delicious and staff super friendly. Definitely adding this to my Sunday brunch list!
Great! Thank you
Our second time here was even better than the first. Service is great -- the waitress knows exactly how often to come by without being overbearing. They have the best empanadas around with a very tasty salsa. The sourdough rolls were so good we had two order. Paella gets great reviews as does the pork chop. Only disappointment was that there was a private party in the outdoor area so we sat inside.
Off the beaten path of West Broadway, this Southie local is worth the detour down Dorchester Street. Steak Frites was delicious as was the Pork Chop and the bowl of cake - well, nothing more needs to be said about that.
