Food and drinks were great! It wasn’t too crowded or loud which was super nice - highly recommend the coffee and donuts dessert!

Great food and ambiance

Everything we ordered was fantastic: Spiked Cider, Bacon BBQ Brussels, Truffle Fungi pizza and the Burger. The service was super quick and we were in and out in 45 minutes.

Never disappointed here. Everything was fabulous. Had a great birthday dinner. Thank you!

Excellent food and service, the ambiance in there is the best in Boston especially during the pandemic. Come here to watch a game or just chill with friends. Relaxed, but upscale, delicious food!

Have had great experiences at publico in the past but unfortunately had a very inattentive waitress this time. We were done with our meals and drinks (first round) for a 40 min before she even asked if we wanted anything else or the check. Still love publico tho

This is by far the best restaurant in south Boston. A true hidden gem. Every meal I’ve had has been incredible. I cannot recommend this enough.

Amazing tatziki dip, the bolognese could be better it was a bit oily, great staff

Both the server and the manager were very friendly. Food was creative and the Tuesday night three course prix fixe was an exceptional value. The steak was prime and cooked to perfection!

I got the beet salad and it was delicious! The guac and chips were really good. The dumplings were okay should have been called patties. Service was not great we sat down at 630 and we knew we had 90 minutes. We understand they want a fast turnover but our waitress was rushing us to hurry up and order. We were asked multiple times to put an order in and told “it’s because we have a 90 minute limit” but we knew that already and respected that! We just wanted to leave because she was not allowing us to enjoy our time. Hope next visit is better!

Best Octopus in the city! The service is always top notch. The food is always amazing. Theo has built such an amazing dining experience. Chef Joel is always on point- we've never had anything but an amazing meal. Christian, Meia, Serena, Marta are always so great to us. This is a must try.

We were sat in the left side of the front room (opposite from the bar) it wasn't as nice as the bar area or back room where the ambience is very nice.

Publico does a nice job following all of the safety precautions for COVID-19, my friend and I felt very safe throughout our time at Publico. The food (burger and pizza) were tasty and our service from Emily (server) and Lydia (bartender) was great. The space has a lot of natural light, which contributed to the nice ambience.

Had such a nice time in the Lodge ! Specifically want to call out the hostess Victoria, who was super sweet when we called ahead and made sure to accolade us in a thoughtful way! She even remembered me a few hours later !!

Very good food, VERY nice and accommodating staff. Only annoying part is there are only three outside tables and you cannot reserve them.

The food was delicious and the service was great. We loved the fireplace couch area, it made our small party special.

The Yuka fries are fabulous! The frittata delicious and the Chorizo hash a really nice unique twist. Publico is a perfect neighborhood restaurant and we really appreciate them in these challenging times!!

I love Publico. Food is always great, the atmosphere is on point, the manager is always welcoming but this time my service wasn't so great. We felt kind of ignored and forgotten. Wasn't too many people there but we were the smallest party in the room so that could've been why we weren't attended to well. Not sure, but I would definitely go back. It's one of my favorite spots in the area.
