Came to Publico for a birthday dinner in the igloo. It’s great if you don’t like noisy restaurants. The igloo is heated but it did get cold when the zipper was opened. The zipper is was messed up so that was a little wonky. But it’s fun and there are games which we loved.
The food is very good and with drinks very reasonably priced meal.
Our waiter, Emilio, was very pleasant and efficient.
Bathrooms are small and a bit dirty. That was the only turn-off but we’d definitely come back.
I was not expecting our party to be rushed out of our igloo. The 2 hour time limit is not very practical and makes for a rushed meal and fellowship with your party. The manager visited our igloo several times asking us to hurry our meals and leave, so the igloo could be offered to another party. The food and drinks were good. Our waiter was very well-mannered. The down side, as I've stated, was being asked to leave while we were enjoying our food and each others' company.
Dined in the igloos and loved everything about them! Great on a cold evening. They are also very dog friendly!
First experience and was great!!
Publico is Amazing! Phenomenal! The Igloo experience is so refreshing. It's such a cute idea. We made igloo reservations via the website for a double date . It was a little drizzle outside but the igloo had a heater is it was warm and dry . They rest on turf so ladies didn't have to worry about our heels.
ZAY was our waiter . He was extremely attentive , friendly and knowledgeable. I love when waiters have real menu recommendations and know their food. He made our decisions much easier and answered our questions with ease. He gave great drink recommendations as well.
Our Table had Cuban Nachos , Pork Buns, Publico Burger , Spicy Beef Ramen and Chicken Ramen. NOTHING was "too salty" . The Pork Buns were well balanced with a heat/spice to the pork . I loved them! My spicy beef ramen was hearty and warm spiced. It wasn't spicy to me but i didn't mind. All the flavors were great.
Drinks were good . We had the Publico Margarita (Spicy) , Southern Fashioned and the Unicorn. The Unicorn was darling . Nice and sweet. I wanted something stronger with my second drink so i switched to a Casamigos and lemonade.
I have zero complaints about my experience, service, taste or environment. It was a perfect double date night.
Had a great meal! Had the BYO ramen, the trio appetizer and the shrimp ceviche and everything was great. The staff was really accommodating and amazing! Jesus was a great server and made sure we had a great time. Would definitely be back
Tl;dr - sat 35 minutes late, even with reservation. Expected 2 hours of time, was told upon seating that the kitchen closed in 10 minutes and the whole restaurant closed in 1 hour. Whole situation was handled pretty poorly.
Had a reservation for an igloo at 9:15. All igloo reservations are supposedly for 2 hours, and carry a $35 minimum per head. Arrived with half party at 9:00, full party at 9:10. Was told that the igloo would not be available until 9:30, so was recommended to get drinks at the bar. To this point, that seems reasonable. Asked if the drinks would apply to $35 minimum, at first the answer was no, but was later changed to yes. Was happy to see that management was willing to accommodate the delay for us. The drinks were pretty good. We were not seated until 9:50. The igloo was warm, which was nice, but the waiter said we had 10 minutes to look at the menu and order and we had to get everything we wanted on this go around because kitchen was closing at 10. After we got our orders in, food was for the most part delivered correctly (the chimichurri was cold), but then we were told that the restaurant was closing at 11 so we didn't get to use our two hours in the igloo. Probably won't be coming back, the whole experience was not very good.
Amazing way to celebrate a birthday! I highly recommend the Igloo reservation.
Amazing! Manager was great, and checked in with us. Server and manager gave great recommendations.
Loved my girls out lunch in our igloo!
Good service, didn’t love the food and the igloos were kind of musty
Joey was a great server and really treated our family well. He had great food recommendations and the food was really good! Thank you so much for giving our family a wonderful experience. The igloo had games inside and was an overall amazing ambiance!
Second visit to the igloos this month and it did not disappoint. Perfect brunch spot for some pitchers of mimosas with brunch. Izzy was hilarious and gave us great service! Food was awesome both times. Be sure to ask for the full menu for all the goodies! Our dogs loved the igloos too :)
We celebrated our anniversary eating dinner in the igloo and it was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the igloo was so cozy and private and 3 different people, including the manager came to our table to congratulate us on our anniversary.
Double date night in the igloos, service was subpar but the food and drinks were all A level!
Our service started a little rocky but Rick and the managers on duty did everything they could to make sure we had an amazing evening. The food, drinks and environment were great!
Great customer service and the heated igloos are a very fun way to eat outdoors when it's cold. Good chat with the manager Will as well.
Sat us 45 minutes after our reservation and no one ever attended to us after we were seated so we ended up leaving because we never got any service.
Great service, food was good but the menu was complicated prices are great. Overall I love the igloos great vibe
Food was awful. Bad bar food. Tacos all had mayo and flavorless mayo at that. I don’t want mayo on a taco! The kimchi on the bulgolgi was bland.
The ramen was too salty. The avocado taco had wasabi mayo (1. Don’t like mayo and 2. I barely tasted the wasabi).
The Cuban nachos were flavorless despite the many Ingredients. The tempura pickles were chewy and again mayo on the side. What is with the mayo everywhere? The queso was fine, but they gave you a tiny bowl with tons of chips. Why? Nothing on this menu is thought out.
The sangria was decent and I would come back for this. The spicy margarita was disgusting. Why put Siracha in a margarita? Why not just use fresh jalapeño to make it spicy? When you have the ability to use fresh ingredients why wouldn’t you use them? So confusing.
The desserts were not creative! And really simple. They all had churros. Not everyone likes cinnamon so I don’t understand the lack of diversity.
The rain from earlier in the day scared some people away so it was almost like we had the outside area to ourselves. It was something new & different for my friends and I. Everyone enjoyed their meal, the pineapple margaritas, and the ambience overall. ❤️Note: If you have more than 9 people in your party, it’s a tight squeeze inside the igloo.
