Great service. Loved our waitress best. Amvbiance fine for a sports type bar but we were actually looking for something a bit nicer, quiieter. Food was delicious but light on the protein.

I really can’t review much because the kitchen closes at 9pm. I just find it strange to close the kitchen AND the bar an hour before the doors close. Reservation at 8:30… My guest was on time but I was late… so didn’t have a chance to order anything and walked over to Cheesecake Factory. I don’t know if the kitchen hours are posted but if so I didn’t see that when I made the reservation.

The food was OK--a pretty good burger for me and my girlfriend liked the quinoa salad. But surly service from our waiter dampened the mood. And the place looked dated and a little tired--like a TGIF that is sorely in need of refreshing.

I figured since it was called 'Public school' and I went to public school I would make it as authentic as possible by getting bussed there, but all I could find was a little yellow bus. It was raining so I thought perfect, waitress will lock us in and make us watch movies all day but I was wrong, instead I got checked at the door for the homework my dog ate. So now I'm doing my 1000 sentences on the chalkboard, how they know I don't actually have a dog? I was happy our waitress didnt have 35 other tables because of overcrowding. I was on edge a little cause I knew for it to be authentic that 3 things would also have to happen, detention, being involved in a fight at the flagpole or a mass shooting, and being molested by my teacher, but I was on a date so I wouldn't try to fight it this time. They even honored my special request of having a midget serve me cause I wanted that same eye level perspective as being shorter than everyone else like you are when you're a kid in school, but also little people need work too before cancel culture gets them next week. Now I can say I've been served tater tots by a tot. Food was great, I didn't have to trade anything with anyone and it didn't come on a tray and have a big fat lady slap it on as you walk by. If you're still reading this cause you need other people to tell you where to eat and want to eat cause you also took the short bus to school, get the Nutella cookie dessert, but guard it while you eat it cause if I'm there you getting Punk'd for it, but you'll still get a participation trophy you loser.

I had the fish tacos and they were crispy and delicious. My friends and I had the monkey bread donuts for dessert and it was so good that we ordered another batch. The almost bottomless mimosas are a good value. We will be going back again.

The Croquet Madame, silver dollar pancakes, & Bloody Mary were amazing! Great options for food & drinks. Charles was the best server…friendly, knowledgeable, & efficient!! Perfect place for a fun work gathering.

Food is off & on. Had there shrimp pasta a few weeks ago & couldn't wait to go back for it again. But this time - ugh! I was SO spicy and dry, it was like the chef had spilled the spice jar into the dish and forgotten to take it off the burner when it was done. Woke up thinking "Why didn't I send that back?" I can't remember ever sending food back, but this dish deserved it. Service is also off and on. I have had great experiences previously, but this time we couldn't get the waitress to pay attention. Asked for water 3 times; it never arrived. Asked for malt vinegar for fish&chips 3 times; it never arrived. 2 of the 3 of us got drinks within 15 min, our third person waited 30+ minutes (for the SAME drink another had.) On the plus side, the drinks were good and the patio (with frequent sirens from nearby fire station) allows dogs.

I got the new Bao Pork buns as an appetizer which were pretty good with the exception of a cold/stale like bao bun. For my meal I got a regular cheeseburger add bacon, that was terrible! Over salted and the bun was (again) stale …the cheese wasn’t even melted. The best thing I had was the side of fries (which were typical fries - nothing special). I don’t remember this place being this bad, not sure what happened but definitely won’t be returning anytime soon
