Awesome experience. It was a little warm in the restaurant though.
Took my spry youngish 80 year old mom here. Very cool place, location is excellent. Dinner on a Saturday evening. Made a reservation for 715p. No issues with reservation, but probably didnt need one.
Food choices were broad and interesting. I had a Caesar salad w chicken, my mom had the fish and chips.
It was good. Drinks were good. The waitress helped by having a paper menu for my mom in addition to the QR digital phone menu. Waitress was probably overly attentive. Cleared my mom's plate before I was finished, picked up the paid bill before we left and seemed in a bit of a hurry.
I'll go back, try something different - the chicken for the salad was a bit chewy.
This would be a good place to watch a sporting event, sit and eat/drink on patio, etc. Good, not great, but good.
Poke nachos were very good and pizza as well. Server Barak was excellent.
This was by far the worst dining experience I’ve had in Dallas. There were bugs all over the dining room, the Brussel sprouts tasted like gasoline, and we never saw our waiter unless we asked the staff to grab his attention. Will not be dining here again.
The service was absolutely awful, but in their defense I guess it was a holiday weekend? Except the restaurant was empty...not sure how that works.
Items on already limited menu were not available.
Food and service was both outstanding. The Ahi Tuna Poke Nachos are a must try. It was so delicious. The beer selection is good too.
Trying to get reservations was a nightmare! However the manger stepped up and fixed the situation.
But once we were there the service was sub par at best! The food tasted like it had been sitting out for hours! Ingredients looked like pale imitations to what they have in the past. I would have excused this if being Mother’s Day and all, and if they were busy! However that was not the case the dining room looked like a ghost town!
Food and service was good!
Don’t recommend. Service was slow although not crowded. Took 20 minutes to get our drinks after being seated. Atmosphere seemed off. Food was disappointing. Burger ok. Ahí bowl was gross. More of a salad than a bowl. Kind of like a bad TGI Fridays with cooler decor.
Food was terrible, place was boring, and for the mimosas are served in regular glasses!
Went with a friend for brunch. Visit was great. We had a wonderful waitress, the food was good & the restaurant was socially distanced.
It’s all in the name. The only thing distinguishing this meal from a public school cafeteria was the Bloody Mary. 10/10 do NOT recommend. Service from hostess to waitress was also subpar.
Public School 214 is a very cool restaurant for families or a quick bite to eat with friends. The food was great and although they were short staff the day that we went, Jose still gave us pretty good service. And the location is nice, if you want to take a walk in the area. We will definitely visit again :)
The food is always fresh, comes to the table hot, ingredients are first grade with a good variety of choices. The staff is friendly, courteous, and professional.
The one in Addison is so much better, but both locations have a great sangria! Burger was undercooked.
Our waiter was very pleasant and easy to joke with, very accommodating and made us feel welcomed.
Food was delicious but the service was a bit slow and lacked engagement.
I was really hoping to have a great experience at this restaurant considering the type of reviews that they have received. We made reservations at 5:45 Saturday evening and arrive at 5:50 PM to be seated. When we walked into the restaurant and we immediately noticed that it was pretty empty and that may be due to the time of the day. We were seated outside which we requested. A member of the wait staff gave us water but not because we asked but because he had a tray with pre-filled water that he was distributing to everyone who was seated outside on the patio. After about 20 minutes I noticed that no one came to get any orders or check on us or greet us. I went inside and asked for a waiter to come to our table to take our order and she responded that she was on her way out. She came to our table and I informed her that we had been waiting about 20 minutes without someone coming to check on us or at least take drink orders. She did not really seem that taken aback by my complaint but she did offer me a free drink. When it came time to order the food my daughter placed an order for a pepperoni pizza and a lemonade, I ordered the peanut butter and jelly burger with a side of the beer battered fish, and my husband had some sort of chicken and rice and vegetables. At first she was not sure if I could get the single piece of fish and stated that she was going to ask the to cook. We proceeded to give her our order since we had been waiting at this point about 30 minutes to place an order. 10 minutes after we thought we placed our orders, she came back to the table and stated that I would be able to get the individual piece of fish and proceeded to ask us again what we would like to order and this Time she wrote it down. At this time it is about 640 and we still have not eaten but I noticed that a table of six that came in well after us had drinks and food well before we did. Our food finally came out at about 650. Burger was good, pizza good, chicken was gross.
Very slow service.
The food was delicious. I loved the new items on the menu. The fried cauliflower was amazing. Casandra was a great server.
My fries were cold and my fried cauliflower wings were old and they refried it to make it seem fresh. I questioned why some of the wings were dark and some was light. The answer was beyond suspect. I was told that it was how the wings were fried, that some wings in the center would be darker than the ones on the outside due the heaviness of the batter. Some bs like that
Excellent food and service! I went two weeks in a row!
I had a pizza and it was soggy, falling apart, and made me feel physically sick.
I would recommend this restaurant. Some unusual burgers. Great salads and friendly staff!
Out of several items very limited menu but food was good i recommend the chicken and waffles
The food was cold and covered in grease. The service was very mediocre as well.
Waitress was super chill, drinks where dank! Food was danker! Will come back
Sadly, I report that the service here has fallen to the point of being abysmal. Slow drinks. Out of olives for a martini. Five unanswered requests to refill my water glass. Brought our food but didn’t bring silverware. I literally had to stand near the server’s area and supervise their delivery of silverware to the table so my date and I could eat our meal before the food got cold. Btw, I’m normally not a person to do that sort of thing but other than tearing my steak apart with my hands, I was out of options.
To top of our evening, my date ordered a final martini which they served in a standard cocktail glass, explaining they were out of martini glasses. I assume washing a martini glass is something I shouldn’t expect? None of the other glasses were chilled, so I don’t see the issue with washing one to serve a drink.
Like DISD, what you have hear, folks, is failure on a grand scale.
Cannot complain because they were open during the winter storm when everyone else was closed. We were so grateful to have warm food in a warm restaurant. I was surprised by the welcoming and friendly service as I am sure it was a difficult day for them. I wish I remember the servers name but he did a great job at turning a difficult day around. The hostess was also great at dealing with difficult guests in a polite way (even though some were rude as hell). I live around the corner and will be back.
Great food, drinks, the wait staff was very attentive and the place wasn't crowded
Sunday brunch. Menu extremely limited. Had the touted eggs benedict pizza. Pass on that it was just eatable. The big menu tout was some kind of peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
The booth we were sat in had a step up and the table was at least three inches above standard making eating difficult.
Pepper was brought out in a small metal cup making it impossible to spread evenly and very fine grind on top of that.
Coffee is served in cups that get cold very fast. However they did bring fresg cups rather than refilling the cuo.
The mimosa was a strange color. I don't drink anymore so I did not sample.
Could barely hear the waitress with mask and shield. Talk about overkill.
It was OK but I won't be going back.
The food was good and the service was great!
Was disappointed to see that the wait staff did not properly wear masks. Our waitress had her mask below her nose and a shield on top of her head that she did not use.
Josh is the best!!!
Both servers were awesome!! Loved the food
The food was delicious and the service was great!
Great place for brunch...limited menu but food and service were terrific. We'll be back.
Nicholas was great! Covid standards on point! We felt very safe. Food great as always!
Service was fantastic! Food was good. Covid standards were top notch!
