Our Famous PB&J Burger*
A PS original with crunchy peanut butter, blackberry habanero jam, certified angus beef and bacon on a brioche bun. Mom never made you a PB&J like this!
I was worried in the beginning, HOWEVER, (during covid) they came together, owned their wrong, and made it great. I will be dining again very soon!
Superb food and that velvet crush is amazing.
The PB&J Burger is an absolute winner. The most unlikely combo of flavors, but absolutely amazing.
Love this location! Food is great, customer service was good & ambiance was perfect! We will be back!
Super cute , Your food comes out fast and hot. They also have good drinks
Overall it was nice. I would advise sitting under tent because the trees are constantly dropping leaves as the wind blows.
Terrible service and food. I thought I could trust reviews on open table and disregard the horrible ones on Yelp but TRUST ME, do not come here. Waste of money and time.
Well, where to start. The host - think of a desk sergeant at a police station at 3am.
The food took a long time to be delivered, so long that the hamburger was not even barely warm. Ate it anyway, just to make sure that I never make the mistake of going back there again.
With all the good and great places to eat in Culver City these days, they won’t be troubled by repeat customers who have other real restaurants to choose from.
Waited 45 minutes for drinks with zero water after the food had arrived.
We went for a busy Saturday brunch. Service was ok. I could tell the server was super busy and other than being dry on drinks for a bit we never went without. Food was meh. The chorizo mac n cheese was...interesting. Definitely for a more eclectic palate. Everything else was decent. Bloody Mary's were fantastic! We sat on the outside makeshift patio in the street. Everytime a bus went by, I thought the structure was going to come crashing down on us. It certainly was entertaining and an experience to laugh about with the other tables every time it happened. Overall, I'd come again, but I would order different food and ask our server to bring two glasses of water! :)
Food was tasty, a little pricey, service not that great.
Very helpful staff, socially distanced outdoor seating.
Our entrees did not come out until 1 hour after we ordered and there was no check in from the waiter during that time. Once our food arrived, mine was cold (I ordered a chicken sandwich) and the others' food was subpar. Also, the margarita was very syrupy. They did replace it however. Minimal heat lamps as well.
Food is mediocre. Taste is fine but my Brussels spouts really tasted like they came from a plastic bag and were microwaved. Ambiance is fun and cool I like the school house theme.
But your hostess and staff should try harder.
Everything was great until we had to go to the restroom. FILTHY!!
Public School did a great job with the outdoor dining. Everyone was masked up properly and the food was still good.
Food was bomb and servers were so nice !
Great experience. I had a reservation and was sat right away. Good attentive waiter. Food was very enjoyable. Great vibe among all the restaurants on Culver City Blvd. Will definitely be back again.
Tasty impossible burgers!
The food is just ok. Kinda fancy pants food offerings for a beer joint. The wings were a bit undercooked and that was definitely worrisome but think its the fryer Im sure hard to nail every time. Poki Nachos were a bit scarce unfortunately it was the poki part. Had the Korean steak- Nice soft bread and meat was high quality and prepared perfect, flavors lacking a bit but the spread that comes with helps quite a bit- decent sandwich. Arrived at 12:30 early for a 1pm reservation and was not sat until 1:20 but it was raining and very few seats and its a pub and people hang out so thats understandable - I will definitely be back to try a few other menu items and the Beer options are plentiful!
Food is always delicious. Great pub fare. Especially love the Buffalo cauliflower and the burgers. Great service too.
Great service, food and ambiance. One of my favorite spots in Culver City!
I got the barbacoa beef street style tacos. The meat was so juicy and tender. To drink, I got the “Ryder’s On The Storm”, it has whiskey and I’m a whiskey girl. They’re pretty strong and came in a mason jar, which I love. The Nutella Cookie Sandwich was for dessert and it is gigantic! Definitely enough for 2-4 people. Overall, I like this place, this was my second time here. Cool vibes. I’ll be back.
thanks for accommodating us and helping us get to a warmer place
Service was not that great. Food seems very over priced. The menu on their website does not match what was given to us. Great location but pretty average for everything else.
I went hoping to get brunch around 11:30 but they said they weren’t offering their brunch menu that day. Food and service was still good though.
It was too cold. No heaters. We were shivering with our jackets on. There was a bad smell. It was a bad experience.
Great happy hour, drinks and food are Amazing and fantastic service as well!
This place is a favorite to dine with friends. The drinks are good, the beer choices plenty. :) The service is friendly and fast. I ordered the fish tacos this time with truffle fries as my side. They were big and filling. The ketchup they serve is yummy, it’s a little spicy. The only thing I wished they had was hot sauce like, Tapatío or Cholula to add some spice to the tacos as they didn’t come with a kitchen made pico or salsa.
The food wasn’t good
pb and J burger is amazing!!
Overall our experience was great, my only issue was that we were freezing cold the entire time where we were sitting. They don’t have heat lamps for the street side seating.
Great food - nice outdoor dining space - nice servers.
Noted we were celebrating a birthday on my open table reservation. Received zero acknowledgment. Waited about 45 to receive 3 burgers and a salad and was told the second we sat down that there was a 75 min max time at the table. Didn’t receive any refills on drinks & service left much to be desired
Wonderful experience! Congrats on opening again. Our waitress was phenomenal, wow!
Loved it! Great outdoor seating!! Coming back!
Brian was a great server! Although it was a cold night, the restaurants patio was warm and we enjoyed our dinner.
Nice Brunch at this restaurant- breakfast pizza, eggs Benedict and bloody Mary’s
Gabbie was my server and she was fantastic made great recommendations thank you!
Good food, appropriate space, attentive service...
