Service was bad from the valet, who scraped my car door to the bouncer who mis treated my teenage daughter, to our poor server who was rude. Would never recommend. Very limited menu, loud and below average quality food. Way overrated.

Reserved a booth for a big group and was not disappointed! We watched football and ordered a bunch of apps to share. Very fun atmosphere and quick service during a busy time. Will definitely go back!

Good staple lunch spot in River North. Food is a little pricey for what it is - but very good none the less. It can be a little loud at peak hours. I recommend the Pulled Chicken Salad - it is great!

We reserved a table for 8 people a month in advance, then arrived and were given a table for 6. Miserable meal as a result. Wont go back!

Our waitress looked and sounded confused. We were a party of 6 so it's not like we were too many to handle. Her visits to the table were few and far between. The Belgium mussels were fantastic. Two of us had the Wygu beef brisket dip which seemed more like beef crumbs than nice chunks of brisket. We celebrated a birthday and rather than ask which dessert we preferred, which was the (pumpkin pie cake shake) she brought us chocolate chip cookies, at least they were warm.

The food was good - but the drinks were sub-par. The happy hour special Old Fashioned tasted like sugar & whiskey. We were also served well whiskey instead of the Knob Creek Single Barrel that we ordered, luckily they re-poured it for us. Both times though the whiskey was served in a wet glass. I understand being busy on a Friday night with after-dinner drinks, but a dry glass would have been nice - especially since we were siting in the dinner area, not the bar. Overall I had a fun time, and the food was good, but wished we had ordered different drinks or just stuck to beer.

Public House was an enjoyable scenery for after-work drinks with co-workers. Reasonable happy hour deals, good service, accessible location, and a little noisy but made for a vibrant environment. I would recommend to others!

Drinks were delicious, I had the Pink Basil. My Pesto flatbread was also AMAZING! The service was a little scarce, but it was pretty busy for a late Monday night. They had run out of mussels and brisket when we got there which was disappointing.

Went there specifically because of the open table review of the cheese curds and burgers. We walked in and saw a table with the cheese curds and they looked amazing. When we ordered them our waitress said they were prepping them and they wouldn't have them for 30 min. We told her we would wait and ordered fried pickles. The pickles were good and the ranch dressing to dip them in was wonderful. I asked her about the taps at the tables and she said they are really "for the lushes" Pretty inappropriate statement. About 20 min later we ordered our food and asked that she just bring the curds when they were ready. She delivered our food and said they wouldn't have the curds at all for a while. The salads & burgers were good but all our French fries were over cooked and so crunchy that they were almost inedible. I tried to use my open table point money for our bill and the waitress was unfamiliar with how to use it. The manager tried to figure it out but he couldn't either but was kind enough to take 15% off our bill. Disappointing food and waitress. Not a place I would ever go to again or recommend.

it's a bar, and you get what you expect with dinner at a bar. it's in a good part of town, the food is above-average for bar food, but it wasn't anything i would go out of my way to tell people about.

A "lively" little spot. We got a table near the bar and got a solid view of the games playing on TV. Solid food, and seems like a great place to go with a group of friends, grab a bite, and get a drink.

Good ambiance and food but the price of the tapper beer at the table was absolutely ridiculous and not accurately disclosed when I asked before the meal. Goose Island Matilda for $0.75 per ounce is robbery. Server said it was $0.45 per oz. Two of us drank 100 oz for $75.00! This will cause me to look for alternative restaurants next time.

I arrived with a stroller and the hostess seemed annoyed at having to try to fit the stroller next the booth we had reserved. I offered to fold up the stroller if it was a problem. She then proceeded to put us in a booth that was up several stairs, which was not easy to navigate with a stroller. The overall impression I got from her when I was arrived/seated was that I was a burden and I did not at all feel welcomed to be dining there with my baby in tow. Based on my experience, this is not a kid-friendly place and I would not recommend bringing a stroller into the place.

Service was exceptional! Waitress constantly came by to make sure we had water and enjoyed the food. We were even visited by a manager to make sure everything was good. Seated quickly, variety of food, clean, windows open up to give the feeling of eating outside...LOVE THIS PLACE! Will definitely be going back.
