Pubblico Italian Eatery - Scottsdale
We had a great experience on our night out at Pubblico. The appetizers, salads, and entrees were prepared perfectly and served at a proper pace. It was a Wednesday night so there was also a special deal on any bottle of wine and it paired extremely well with our meal. Staff was attentive to all of our needs and the owner introduced himself to us and made sure everything was to our liking. Thank you Danny, we will be back!
Fish, pasta, desert and wine. All were excellent as was the service. Price was right. Place was a little loud however. We'd recommend for sure!
Danny and his crew and the best!!
Had a pleasant experience at Pubblico in central Phoenix, so decided to give the scottsdale location a try. Absolutely no atmosphere and very mediocre food. Will not be going back
Tasty food. Great service. Good distancing in place.
A wonderful Friday eve Italian cuisine, in celebration of our son's birthday!
We were attending a conference at a nearby hotel/resort and wanted something different that the property had to offer. Chose this place! Wow. Our server Angel made recommendations and happy hour cocktails. I had the linguine with clams, and my wife had shrimp scampi. We enjoyed the meal and service immensely "el fresco" and here is where it gets interesting. We couldn't contact an Uber or Lyft back to our hotel for nearly 45 minutes (it's Scottsdale). Angel authorized one of the hostesses to take us back to the hotel. Fortunately, I kept trying Uber and finally got one. The mere offer to help two out-of-town people says a lot about the customer and human side of a business. Next time in the area, it will be a definite date for us. Thank you all at Pubblico Italian Eatery!
Wonderful restaurant for our Saturday night date night!
Always exceptional. Even during the pandemic and slower turnover, the food and service were excellent. We had cioppino (amazing.. and mega leftovers), sea bass, lobster ravioli, salads, calamari, shrimp... all delicious. In previous visits, we’ve also ordered the chicken dishes (always tender) and pizza. Our server last night, Angel, was great. Recommended perfect wine, was funny, and accommodating. The owner, Danny, is very attentive and maintains high standards. Highly recommend.
Our server was amazing! Prompt, friendly, and with a great sense of humor! Presentation of entrees was beautifully done and tasted delicious. Portions were plentiful. Lovely wine selection and most delicious Long Island Iced Tea :) Thanks for a wonderful experience!
The food was very good. It started out well, but the waiter got very busy and we ended up sitting a long time out on the patio with dirty dishes stacked up and waiting for water, which we had asked for multiple times. Once the owner was made aware, he took care of it, so we will definitely be back.
Restaurant Week choice and not disappointed. Good social distancing inside and out. Risotto was excellent. Will be back.
Great atmosphere and menu. Guy from KC was great!
What a nice surprise! We chose this restaurant as it was a new restaurant to Restaurant Week. And the menu looked great. Boy were we surprised by how good. Everyone picked something different...appetizers were tomato bruschetta, spicy salami and fig bruschetta, meatballs, etc. We are still arguing over whose was best. The entrees were wonderful. I had the chicken parmesan. The guys had the lobster ravioli...everyone agreed that they were some of the best we had had. Pasta was house made.....and boy can you taste the different. We will definitely be back!!
We were very happy with our complete meal that we had during restaurant week. The portions were good size, the ravioli was wonderful, And the drinks were perfect. Good bartender. We really enjoyed our meal there. We will go back again.
Delicious Italian food! We tried a bunch of pastas and the chicken parm. Everything tasted great. Good service. Definitely coming back.
All was great except took a really long time to get drinks and food (a good sign business is busy but should be able to decrease delivery times.)
We came for Restaurant Week and was very pleased with everything. The waitstaff was very attentive and polite. The food was delicious, especially the meatballs & polenta as well as the bruschetta. Can’t wait to go back.
The food was excellent. Attentive staff. Once the weather cools down, will be a nice patio to have dinner.
We had so much fun at Pubblico’s wonderful happy hour! The food was delish (and so affordable), the wine and cocktails were great ...but the superstar service was what really made it special! We all had a blast and have been telling our friends to go and give it a try. Having opened just before covid hit they hadn’t quite gotten a stronghold on their clientele, nows the time!
Celebrated my husband's birthday. Happy Hour has great offerings and the prices overall are so reasonable. Beautiful build out and great service by Angel. We will be back and so glad you brought a location to Scottsdale!
Great evening, nice to dine outside again. Pizza and wine were great.
First time at Pubblico and overall everything was great. Mussels appetizer was great. My wife had the Lobster Ravioli that was very good.. the pasta was fresh and sauce had an excellent flavor. I had the Cioppino which comes with a 1lb lobster tail plus shrimp, scallops, & calamari. Jose was friendly and provided great service.
The staff was amazing, especially Alyssa who was a bit like a friend and less like a bartender. The food was good but odd that it was better after I re-heated the dish when I got home. I got the lobster ravioli, and it was a bit lukewarm when I started eating it at the restaurant. Also, the ravioli was giant but really, very chewy. I would more than likely go back to Publicco for the service, wine, and style alone but I might try another dish.
I love Pubblico! This is my favorite neighborhood restaurant and love sitting on the patio. Great ambience. I make sure to bring all of my friends and out of town visitors here. The owner Danny makes an effort to stop by every customer’s table and to know your name. Angel is the best server and his personalized service makes you feel like you’re his only customer. This is a must place for Happy Hour and dinner in Scottsdale!
Excellent food! Would recommend for Italian food..
1st time here and we loved it! We will be back often! Highly recommended!!!
The pasta was freshly made and delicious. The bread pudding was outstanding and a great way to finish a fabulous dinner.
We love Pubblico! Wonderful homemade pasta. Creative cocktails and good wine recommendations. Friendly service. So happy to see they are doing well. Danny and his team are great. It’s a little loud in there, but fun
Nice place, was pretty empty on a Sunday evening. They were very kind and accomodating. We enjoyed our food and recommend the scampi, linguine with clams, chicken parmesan, mussels, and clam pizza.
Staff was great and offered great recommendations.
Food always good. Love the mussels!
Our server was amazing! The cocktails were incredible and came out very quickly. The beef tenderloin and lobster ravioli were incredible and were a fair price for the amount of food provided. Highly recommend!
Support local. Best place. It’s our favorite. They have really taken all the steps and beyond to ensure everyone is safe. The food service people ALL outstanding.
The food was mediocre. We had 3 different dishes. Lobster raviolis which were not hot, a steak, which was ordered rare and served well done and chicken parmigiana that was completely over cooked. Hate to say it, but Olive Garden serves better food. No bread offered with the meal, no draft beers and no ambiance.
Food was excellent.
Went during the COVID surge. Social distancing was maintained, staff wore facial coverings. The waiter was delightful, fu and full of energy. Food was quite tasty as was the Sangria. Overall an excellent experience.
Nice neighborhood feel to restaurant. Comfortable setting enjoyable dinner
Good, quality food at reasonable prices. Undercooked my sea bass but corrected it without issue. Seabass was delicious. Friendly service. First time there and will return.
