My friends and I was hungry for American Italian food. This fit the craving. The shrimp scampi for starters was so good and the bread was great to dip in the scampi. I had the appetizer meatball on polenta and was completely satisfied. My friend had the sausage bolognese and I had a bite. It was very good. We will definitely be back.

Pubblico is one of our all time favorite Italian restaurants. We used to live close by & went more often but we moved & hadn’t been in a while. Our favorite dish is the cioppino but they took it off the menu, but get this, it was the special of the night when we went so we were elated! A huge brimming bowl of linguini w/ lobster, shrimp, scallops, clams, mussels, and calamari in a superb broth with garlic bread. The portion was huge enough for 2 people. They also have a lobster linguini dish we’re going to try next time. The caesar salad is exceptional w/ homemade croutons and the calamari appetizer was very good and tender! Ask for the marinara sauce in addition to the sauce that comes with it. I also had an exceptional lemon drop as an after dinner drink made with Italian limoncello. Our server Jared was great and the owner, Danny wasn’t there but he’s a great guy too. All in all, always a great experience. You have to try it if you haven’t already. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have high expectations, but unfortunately was in great. It was my birthday and I didn’t enjoy myself. It was very loud and dark. I could not see the prices so I ended up ordering a $60 plate of food so that really stressed me out to say the least. The food that I did get was not very good. To be honest it wasn’t the best I asked for Alfredo sauce didn’t get it as a substitution. It was very noisy and I just couldn’t hear my sisters as we talked over. I don’t think I’d be going back.

We hadn't been to Pubblico in quite a while, as we now live in Peoria, but it was just as much fun as always. The service from the hostess to the two bartenders (we ate at the bar) was stellar. We each had a Caesar salad and a small bites selection. The shrimp scampi and the jumbo scallops were terrific. The wine selection at Pubblico has always been impressive. We'll be back, regardless of the trek to get there!

The calamari was great but unfortunately that's all that was good. I order the Sea bass and upon it arriving to the table, it was nothing that we were expecting. Definitely screamed tilapia. I asked the waitress if it was seabass and she said yes. She said "it's not Chilean Sea bass. It's regular Sea bass." Whatever that even means. No we did not ask what kind of sea bass it was before ordering but they also don't specify on the menu. I have not been to any restaurant, ordered sea bass, and it wasn't Chilean. I did get my husband a rigatoni to go and he absolutely loved it.

Amazing service and I changed my reservation last minute. They made me feel so special. Made sure my food came out in the perfect timely manner. Drink was good;) food was bomb!!! Especially the short rib ravioli. Honestly the perfect place to go eat by yourself the ambience is so chill but mood setting. I truly wish I remembered all their names but the closing crew on Sunday October 22nd were impeccable literally received service and greetings from everyone their. It was almost closing and their service was still bomb… At the end of their shift! 10/10 recommend 🤌🏾

I really can't say enough about this place! The happy hour specials are great - a value, wonderful freshness, and super flavor! The wine and cocktails were very good too. The service was phenomenal, which is more difficult these days. Love the ambiance of the decor. We will be back!

First time. Entrees of Salmon and spaghetti/meatballs were very good. No sound absorption anywhere. Other patrons very loud so we left as soon as we were done — not staying for dessert or after dinner drinks. Went next door to quieter surrounds to watch rest of game (had not been the plan) Would suggest to turn up the lights just a tiny bit — so dark that the table candle doesn’t help. Flashlights needed. Frustrating but still nice surrounds. Asked the table busser to shout so we could communicate. We are not hearing impaired btw. Will prolly not return but happy some ppl do! 😉

We sat on the patio which was lovely. Service was a bit slow in the beginning but improved as the dinner continued. Our food and drinks were brought out by runners so everything was hot. The cocktails, lemon drop and cloudy with a chance, were well made and I would order again. We enjoyed the grilled mozzarella appetizer although it was slightly burnt. The pizza was crisp and delicious. The Rigatoni was very flavorful but portion was small. Loved the flavor of the Clam linguine and there were lots of fresh clams. Both pastas were homemade. We enjoyed our meal.

All of the pasta that we had was homemade and very good Preparation and food quality . This place has a really nice large bar and great hightop tables would highly recommend it for good homemade food at what is still affordable prices compared to any of the other places in the Biltmore/North Central area serving this type of quality 👍🏻

Pubblico is a casual place with a laid back vibe. Our server April was great. Kind and fun. Ice cold Peroni and hot, crispy calamari was a wonderful start. The strawberry salad was simple and fresh. April suggested I get the spinach ravioli with Alfredo sauce and I’m so glad I did. The ravioli were a bit thick but it was still a very comforting plate of food. My friend had the arugula salad and the seafood fettuccini and happily lingered over his dinner. A very nice tiramisu and the flourless chocolate torte with cappuccinos ended our dinner. I have never in my life had a fluffy flourless chocolate cake! It was like a deep chocolate cloud… mmmmm!

My caprese was delicious. All the food was very good. We’ve had many great meals here. Tonight the server seemed to have to many tables too far apart so we waited quite a while for a drink or return visits. I think they were preparing for a large reservation which was distracting the staff.

Loved April our server! Staff excellent and very attentive! Food and cocktails were FABULOUS! Seafood risotto and clams and mussels were amazing said my wonderful husband! The only thing.. . I’d read, and did find, that the music was too loud for conversation. I understood maybe 50% of our evening- but I didn’t want to ask friends to keep repeating! I nodded and smiled, a lot! We will definitely return- and maybe ask them to take the music down, just a notch!! The Matthews 9/15/23

Pubblico is a gem of a restaurant tucked away on the rear side of the building on 7th Street. Attentive, friendly, smiling staff, quick service, delicious food, 5 stars all around. I just have to mention, using the rest room it was the cleanest, thoughtfully appointed one I have ever used! Go for the restaurant experience though!

Three of us ordered the salmon. Two ordered medium, one ordered raw. They were all well done and tough. We had had an extended conversation with the waiter ahead of time to see how the kitchen really cooked it. Unfortunately the waiter (who was a great guy) didn't come by to check on the food until we were almost finished. What a disappointment. All three of us would have ordered something different. Super unfortunate that we were almost finished before he checked. They tried to fix it by first offering a gift certificate for another time, then also ended up taking a percentage of the bill off. I appreciate that but we would have all rather had what we ordered originally.

Food very bland tasting, not authentic Italian cooking and overpriced.. No ambiance, looks like a sports bar with too many high top tables crammed together. Look elsewhere for real Italian cooking and better dining experience.

We had a wonderful experience! The food was delicious. Our server was great! The three of us ordered different meals. Spaghetti and Meatballs, Linguine and Clams, and Spinach Ravioli. All meals were generous, and the three of us were impressed with the freshness of the food, plus the remarkable flavors that we’ve never experienced in other Italian restaurants. The Crème Brûlée for dessert was heavenly!

Consistently good food. Wonderful place to being the whole family, from nana and papa to babes and teens. We come here, at least, twice a week for lunch and dinner. Only thing we can't do is bring the vegans in the family.
