Pubblico Italian Eatery
Pubblico's is a great place cool vibe and great food.
nice patio, great value during restaurant week. nice staff
I wanted to like this place so badly. I set a reservation on OpenTable for my birthday dinner. We got sat over 30 minutes after our reservation time, took over 10 minutes for our server to greet us. There was no apology or birthday greeting even though it was clear it was my birthday. Service was spotty throughout dinner, bar drinks stayed empty. Very disappointing.
Service was great! Food was good! Great atmosphere! We will definitely return.
Great dinner for restaurant week. Menu gave a good taste of there regular menu. Food was good service was attentive...
We had a great time for a 40th birthday dinner. The food was incredible and our server was amazing! We love the ambiance at Pubblico and being able to catch up with friends! It was overall and fantastic experience!
Visited for restaurant week. Food was good, service was slow and somewhat inattentive.
We tried new dishes this time and LOVED all of them. The pasta is on point.
Awesome restaurant! This was my wife and I first time and we will definitely be back!
Great place for a dinner experience. Staff/service was good, and food was excellent.
Limited menu but everything was good. Enjoyed the happy hour specials
Our party was seated outside in a corner next to the building, the area was not clean and somewhat odiferous. Restaurant was getting busy, server took drink orders for two of our party of 4, didn’t return for the rest of our cocktail orders for over 10 minutes. Pasta dishes were excellent, skip the Chicken Marsala. Ordered garlic bread to go with our salads which wasn’t delivered until our entrees arrived. It wasn’t garlic bread, just toasted bread, no butter or seasonings, nothing. Considering the prices, service, will not return.
First time here.. overall a nice spot. Sat in the dining room however, happy hour is 4-6.. great value and happy hour is in the whole restaurant. Had couple of old fashions and the night was on. Tried a appetizer and salad before entrees. Both were enjoyable. Had the lobster ravioli and chicken Parmesan, I would say good, and a great value.
Overall, a good value, good food, our server was great..
While the overall experience was great I would have liked it to be a bit more lively. Also one really strange thing was we were not given bread and every restaurant in Italy serves complimentary table bread.
Love the food and the staff!
Great Place - would strongly recommend!
Excellent service by Bernardo. Delicious! Good libation and wine list.
Nice surprise! Excellent craft cocktails. Food was delicious. Definitely will return.
Great service, food and drinks. Had a small fly issue at the beginning of our dinner. Would come back for sure.
Great food abd drinks. Loved the delicious drinks such as the Dark Crystal.
Third visit here. Service great again. Food remains excellent generally though though chicken was very disappointing and did not seem fresh: hard and rubbery and tasteless. Stick to the pizzas esp lobster ravioli, filet, and scampi
lobster ravioli is tremendous. Friendly and attentive service
It wasn’t open so the experience was disappointing
Eveything was delicious. The service was good and our server was friendly.
Staff is brilliant
Good food. Service was good until we learned when getting our check that bottles of wine were $20 that night when we were told there were no specials.
First time here and I loved it... the pasta was super delish . My only thing I would change is the sangria. I love a sangria but mine was a little meh. Not much flavor to it
Fabulous lobster ravioli! Very good service in a casual but sophisticated setting
We went with friends during restaurant week for our first visit to Pubblico. The food was basic but good. The house made pasta was fresh though the ravioli sauce could use more garlic and marinara as it was a bit dry. The Tiramisu was very good.
The wine list leans heavily towards Italy but when the bottle was brought to the table it was very warm. Reds should be served at room temperature but not the temperature of the kitchen. At first I thought the wane had cooked but after chilling it down to around 60 degrees the flavors returned and complimented the food well. My recommendation is for them to purchase a wine environment or the diners should stick to white.
Very nicely presented food in a retro setting. Great friendly service with recommendations for dishes. Fantastic lobster ravioli and filet with mushroom risotto without equal in PHX
We went for Restaurant Week but after seeing the menu decided to forgo the RW menu and order what looked too good to pass up. The mussels were good, with a side salad that was exceptional. Sounds silly but the shallots were a nice touch! Linguini with clams is not our normal go to, but also fab. Then there were the drinks: oh my my! Martini was just perfect while the Dark Crystal (which was recommended by our server) is a Must Have.
Beautiful accent wall and open floorplan, the noise level is so low it's nice not screaming at each other over thumping music. Hope it survives COVID, a great gem.
Good neighborhood joint with house made pastas and drinks. Had the rigatoni, which is rigatoni plus a bolognese and cheese, which was good! Also enjoyed their Caesar salad. My girlfriend ordered a Diet Coke, and I amused that they actually just brought her a warm can; wasn’t crazy about paying $3 for that. Otherwise, a great meal!
It was the best Italian food we've had since moving to Arizona.
Service was wonderful and they were adhering to the guidelines for safe operating. We were pleased to see the care that they took to ensure patron safety. Good was delicious and the Old Fashioned was exceptional!!! Kudos on the cinnamon syrup flavoring!
Great food and service
Lobster ravioli is outstanding. Service and atmosphere top notch.
Service was very good and prompt. Food was excellent
We had a great dinner on Saturday night! I like the outside seating and tables near the door much much more than the other part of the restaurant- so request that!
The service was great and the prices are AMAZING. We started with the calamari- really good but not a huge portion to share with 4 people. We each got a small salad and the chicken parm. The chicken was great but a bit on the dry side- needs more sauce which we asked for! The pasta is homemade and wonderful. We then shared dessert which was great too. Overall- especially for the price- it was great and I will absolutely be back!
Enjoyed dining at the bar. Cocktails, service and food were remarkable. Nothing lacking regarding the evening!
Friendly staff and the Happy Hour Menu was fantastic.
Great little place tucked away in an interesting mix of eateries. Nice ambiance with price point not too far out of line. Feedback from the group of 4 on the food was mixed. Wood fired pizza was really good as was the seafood risotto however lobster raviolis and short-rib raviolis were just okay. Service was excellent. Overall good experience and would go there again if the opportunity came up.
