Good food. Too expensive.
We got there and they showed us to our table. We were there reviewing the menu for several minutes, and nobody showed up to introduce themselves or ask for the drink order.
The restaurant had just a few customers, so it wasn't busy but the servers just decided to ignore us. After some time they brought another couple and sat them in the table next to us, the place was almost empty and decided to sit them in a table just barely separated from ours, so no privacy at all.
After 15 minutes of being completely ignored, we walked away.
This place is not cheap, and you'd expect a good service, but it wasn't the case for us, not recommendable at all.
We enjoyed our time at PubBelly Sushi, although we got lots initially in the mall finding the spot once we were there we had a blast. We sat at the bar and the bartender was extremely helpful and friendly. We participated in the Miami Spice menu, initially I thought the portions were small but considering you get 4 courses, we were stuffed at the end. The flavors of each dish were very good. I would definitely visit again.
One of the many highlights were the "Bloody Geisha" drink, aside from the name it was very tasty and perfectly mixed.
Restaurant was warm and a bit uncomfortable on a hot summer night. The food was decent but great. Overall so so...
Food was amazing. I went with my partner for Miami Spice and did the additional $18 for beverage pairings. SO WORTH IT. Service wasn’t anything special.
Food was average, service was below that. Looked like no manager around.
The positive, food was very good. The prices were great being that we happen to go Sunday at 6:30 and happy hour was going on. Everything we ordered tasted very, very good but the SERVICE!!! This was our first time dining here so we will have to go again to see but the kitchen was so slow putting out food. The place was not busy at all, I counted 10 table of no more than 3 people each and my wife and I at the bar. We ordered off the happy hour menu and it took our first dish out of 4 we ordered at the same time 30 minutes to come out which was corn, very good corn but just corn. Our last dish came out almost 50 minutes after being ordered and all dishes we basically appetizers. Going to say they may have just been slow in the kitchen this one time but will have to see when we decide to go back if it’s something consistent with this establishment. Again, the food was very good.
Very good Sushi. Love it!
Just a little overpriced but worth it.
A must go for a casual Sunday
The food was very salty additionally we got a lemonade that taste like a bottle of chlorine was used to make it. Overall disappointing
The Miami Spice menu was totally worth it, and the food was delicious. The service started bad (I guess the shift was ending), and then it was great. The music was horrible, the playlist said “Latin” and all it was was reggeaton.
Great experience dining here! Even with our server Javier, who was training, he made us feel right at home! Very attentive staff, if Javier was away training for a moment, another waitress Rochelle came by and made sure we were good. Kept checking in on us! Bussers were also attentive and nice! Now to the food, AMAZING! Absolutely go with the crab roll, you won’t go wrong! I also ordered the grilled octopus, it was perfect! Perfectly seasoned and texture was great. Definitely a delicacy! We went with the coco loco for dessert, it was refreshing and for sure gave us the Miami feel! It comes served in a coconut which was also aesthetically pleasing. Will be doing my best to make it there for another crab roll before I head back to Colorado! Thanks again guys for a great experience. Worth every penny! Thanks Chefs!
The food was really good. The service was just a mess. Edema me was ordered as a an appetizer, which came out 10 mins after one of the entrees appeared. The 2nd entree came out about 5 mins, after edamame appeared.
A desert was ordered, to share, and a sharing plate was brought out. The bus boy came along, after 10mins and cleared the table before he could be stopped.
Eventually the desert was cancelled and as our check was brought, the desert appeared. It was given to us, without charge, along with an apology for the busboy, who was seemingly under training.
Finishing on a positive note. I have to say, the desert was definitely worth trying, with a portion of Black Sesame Icecream, made on the premises.
Will I go back? No.
Pubbelly is my favorite restaurant in Miami so when I learned that Pubbelly Sushi opened in the Aventura Mall I was excited to have it closer to where we live. Everything was great, but the food seems a bit gimmicky now as opposed to unique. The service was fine but our waiter had no idea what a make roll was and a plain salmon roll came out with strips of salmon which were all fat. For the cost, it seemed rather disappointing then what I’m accustomed to from a Pubbelly restaurant.
Muy buena comida
Food was very good but the service was horrible. Waiter never really came to check on us and they were out all of thedeserts for the Miami Spice menu except for 2 flavors of mochi ice cream.
El sushi de pulpo una delicia! Excelente cocina
Staff was friendly. Food is all over the place. Not a real sushi place. Not sure what they’re trying to be.
The óctuplos ceviche is just rice and red onions .
I am a sushi lover and know quality, so if you are the same, Pubbelly is overrated. The Krab roll for which they seem to be known for is foe crab. The tuna crispy rice roll was good but not great. Overall it has a nice atmosphere, but the food is mediocre.
Love all about it.
Fun decor, great for low key sushi with family. Great service and reconditions from our waitress as it was our first visit. Everything was good but the crab/butter roll was the best thing I’ve ever had at any sushi restaurant ever.
Sushi was average but the Hamachi Sashimi was excellent. The cooked dishes were better than the sushi. The steak robata, shishito peppers, and bravas were really good. Would come back, but not for the sushi.
Waste of money
Good food, very innovative fusion. Too loud for a sunday lunch
Service was outstanding food was just as good
Portions are small which makes it a bit pricey.
Everything was delicious!!
Service was very good, several servers bringing out the food, refilling drinks and clearing the table.
All staff was extremely friendly and polite.
I like the food but the service has been inattentive borderline rude the last 2 times I visited and it takes on the experience
Not planning to go back there are plenty of places with this type of food , decent service and not as expensive
I had been dying to go here, & was a bit disappointed with some of the food. The tostones with ceviche were not good, neither was the baked crab roll. Other than that the experience was good, although very pricy. I paid 110 for two people, & it did not seem worth it.
Great night..wagu beef sushi..the best
Great experience, the food was delicious, the attention was impecable( Thank You Diana you are the best) for sure we will come back👌😍
taked a while to somebody attend us after seated
Amazing food! Located near to Zara in Aventura Mall at new restaurant area. Beautiful tropical patio creates the perfect relaxed atmosphere.
The food was just okay. I didn't think it was anything special. We ordered the lobster roll and the description on the menu was nothing like what came out. The buffalo shrimp were good. I wouldn't rush to go back.
We were seated right away. The place was cozy and the music not too loud. Our waiter was attentive ;filled our glasses without being asked., cleared the empty dishes and did not wait too long for our orders. We came during Happy Hour , and ordered from that menu. The pork belly( so soft and tasty) , salmon roll and tuna roll were awesome ! We got the matcha creme brulle( Mason Jar) for dessert . We will definitely come back! The price is right and the food is great!
Food very good and fast! Overall 5...No complaints always satisfied .. 👍🏻
Great food. Everything was fresh. Service was extraordinary.
service was auwful, everybody was before us.too bad food is great
Do order some of their signature dishes. We love the tuna “pizza”, a great starter to share. Spare ribs were too fatty — pass on those. Chicken yakitori done to perfection. Yellowtail roll delicious. Bok choy a perfect veggie side. Good selection of sake. Eat outside if you can score a table
Food was great, the ambiance is very nicely decorated and it was a perfect date spot. Service was a bit spotty but overall good experience.
Me trajeron mal la comida 2 veces ...! Rica pero les falta timing
