Made reservation through open table and showed up to restaurant only to be told that the kitchen was closed and it wasn't open for brunch. Total waste of time
It was so cold in there we were all miserable. We kept asking them to turn down the AC but they never did enough that the cold air stopped blasting on us. My husband was even wearing a sweater in June in Miami and was miserable. None of us could really enjoy our meal because we were all so cold, and these are from people who are always hot and love Ac. It's a shame because our dining experience was ruined even though we think everything else was probably great. We were too cold to notice anything else.
Unfortunately I went on a day when the menu was limited. One kinda wishes OpenTable would alert you when that happens.
It's crazy loud here.
Closing forever next week. Just notified staff trying to cope with it. Everything was off from it's usual high standard. Sad to see one of my favorites go.
It must be nice to have the luxury of leaving customer service out of your business model. In the restaurant world, I think it's normally frowned upon to spill part of an order as you're delivering it to the table and simply say, "my bad!" without making any effort to replace the lost food. It's too bad this establishment aspires to being nothing more than a chic hotspot, because the food is actually very good.
Excellent as always!
Food was great service was great. Appetizers were top-notch and were large enough to share: the braised short-rib ragu with sea shell pasta was incredible and the grilled octopus was great. Main course was the dry aged pork chop which had a crust of gruyere and mustard sauce - very good bacon tater tots missed the mark a bit and the pubb belly burger was good but at $19 for a burger you really have to hit it out of the park.
Food was very average. Service was bad
Pork chop, baked potato, bacon wrapped dates, passion fruit arroz flan were to delicious!!
A little pricey but great spot for biz lunch downtown
It was advertised as open on open table and thier restaurant website when we arrived it was closed. Terrible marketing I could only imagine the service
Great food !!! The roof is a must see, very lovely.
Cold, expensive, bad service, good food.---------------
We requested to be seated near the kitchen or a romantic table. Our reservation was made well in advance. We have dined here before and were expecting a stellar experience. Our request for seating was not honored. We were placed under a rather bright spot light by the bathrooms. Our oysters had shell pieces in them. The bone marrow was not cooked as we once experienced. Wasn't fully rendered. The dessert we dream of was since changed. It was previously flanroz con leche (flan and arroz con leche) which had a brûlée' on top with ice cream, mango and passion fruit. It was the perfect combination of textures, temperatures, sweetness, a surprising lightness, bitterness from the passion fruit and overall perfect combination. They changed it to sweet potato based. No fruit inclusion, no lightness in the flan just heavy sweet potato. Not a good way to end a multi course meal. Too heavy and not enough notes in flavor. Overall, we were expecting more based on our previous visits there. For Valentine's Day, we expected much more, sadly.
noise level is loud because of poor accoustics and flooring could be embettered
PB Station has been my choice spot for work lunches. Service was ok, had to speak to the manager and the manager was cordial and addressed the concerns.
Not as good as it was in the beginning. Has lost it's initial luster. It's still somewhat good, but should be better. Was a bit empty and felt like they are not paying as much attention as initially to the food. Mac & Cheese was ridiculously over rich. Came to the table with a mound of cheese sauce that should have been toasty, but was barely cooked. Biscuits were dry and cold - I think they had been sitting around. Shrimp was good. Cauliflower was very good, as was the service.
I went to PB station for pre-theater dinner with a friend around 7pm on a Saturday night. It was very quiet. I was surprised as I went for lunch months ago and it was crowded. The food is delicious but the dinner was somehow ruined by the server who wasn't attentive (didn't bring the drinks, brought is to the wrong person, didn't take correctly the order). We ended talking to the manager who as very professional but I would have preferred to avoid these situation.
Food was very nice and well presented------good, but not gourmet. Wait staff was very pleasant. We found it very noisy.....they could definitely lower the volume on the music.
Another delightful Pubbelly restaurant. The restaurant is quite unique in decor. The menu items are varied and appetizing. The items we tried were all prepared perfectly, the bone marrow, the burger, the side dish vegetables. Most importantly, the staff/servers are phenomenal. Attentive, caring, informative, friendly. Dining here was a delight both for the food as well as the service. We look forward to dining here often.
Im been there for my bday celebration, I make reservation at 9:00 pm we have table at 9:30, the 1rst plate take 1:30 hrs late, the plate I want ( pasta with crabs) dont have I don't know why, , slow service and was just a couple of tables, anyways, no so good experience, I think is a nice place but overrated
This is our 4th or 5th time dining her for Dinner with between 2 and 8 and we have lunched twice before as well. Everyone loves it. Start at the Pawnbroker Roof Top lounge first for cocktails then make your way to the restaurant for dinner. Great vibe, creative and delicious menu.
Interesting menu and nice decor but service was marginal.
I have gone to PB for two office birthday celebrations. The food is fantastic and the service great. Great place!!
Probably the loudest restaurant I ever been, great location but I couldn't hear my wife, might have picked the wrong night ?
Love the tapas style brunch! Great outdoor seating. Small place - get a seat early.
Everything was AMAZING! From the service to the food to the atmosphere.. Must! Try the dates, sliders and fish taquitos..
The food was awful and uneatable. Bad review for the pubbelly guys . The food was not only expensive which would be fine for something you would enjoy. Never to return. If it wasn't for the great Manager Esteban Hernandez who tried to make it up , our nite would have been an awful experience. Took my wife and I to the roof top which we enjoyed a lot. Recommend the roof top.
Great service , food was good, cocktails were very good. I would go back to this restaurant
La comida debería ser mejor, el servicio muy bueno
Came in with high expectations, given price point relative to the original Pub Belly (which I still consider one of Miami's best restaurants and my personal favorite), and I left very disappointed. Food isn't bad, but it fell short of the pubbelly group's other restaurants and it's too expensive.
Food was excellent, service attentive interior charming. Music was too loud and not our type but when asked to lower the volume they did. S'mores dessert was amazing. I'd go back.
Great food. Lots of choices. Gotta try the Yogi Berra. Pretty much everything we ate was good. But especially the desserts so save some room.
Great food and great service. Erik was an awesome server.
Our reservation was made via Open Table for 11:30 a.m. on a Sunday, however, when we arrived they told us that the they didn't open until noon and had us down for that time. This was extremely off-putting as I didn't understand why they would even allow us to make the reservation at that time. I even double checked the website to make sure I wasn't crazy, and in fact, they do allow you to make reservations on Sundays at 11:30 a.m. or 11:45 a.m. In addition, the hostess didn't seem the least bit apologetic.
Once we actually got to the restaurant, it had a really nice ambiance with great views of Downtown. The waitress was really nice (although not too knowledgeable re: drinks and drink specials) and the food was great.
Valet is $15 (which is a bit steep), and while the hostess initially said we could validate, later said that they didn't. Overall, I would go back, but do think that they need to update the reservation time options on Open Table as it's not fair to the patrons to make reservations for a time that the restaurant is still closed.
Not a single bad comment about my meal. Everything was incredible. Hands down one of the best meals I've had in Miami
Overall the experience was very nice. Our server, Cristiano was excellent and very informative. It was our first experience with this version of the Pub Belly Group of restaurants. I left disappointed with the fact that one of the steaks on the menu was not available and another steak was only available in a certain portion.
Food was good but service was extremely slow and music extremely loud.
Fantastic experience all around. Great mixologists (and fun) at the downstairs bar. Great waiter, setting and food. Great post dinner cocktails and bartenders at the rooftop bar.
