Very unique and extremely delicious sushi/Asian fusion dishes. Butter crab roll was insanely good, Japanese fried chicken was a home run as well. Honestly nothing was disappointing. Service was great, only pet peace was the waiter included tip because we were a large party. I will typically tip above 20 percent but I won’t when gratuity is automatically added. I will definitely return on my next visit to south beach.
Pleasant with minimal people at 10pm. They did however forget black beans on my dish. The flavors are alright.
Get the Butter Krab roll! It’s a must!
It was very nice. We ate Outfiters & enjoyed the experience.
Service was average. Food was good.
New years eve dinner. Great a la carte dining in a nice and relaxed atmosphere.
We didn’t enjoy the sushi. We eat a lot, but really didn’t like the sushi we got at the restaurant. Maybe we were just unlucky. Service was great though.
nice outdoor patio ! food was good , especially the sushi and the appetizers (tuna pizza was the highlight).
Great food. Very noisy inside
We made a reservation based on other reviews. When we arrived, we were ignored by a waitress who was at the hostess counter. When the hostess showed up, we were seated, but were not told about the ongoing happy hour or given a happy hour menu, even though there were still 30 min left. When I asked for the happy hour, the waitress (the one with the black hair) brought a menu, put it accross the table away from me, and said in a dismissive way that the happy hour is almost over. Then she showed up in 30 seconds and asked for our order. Throughout all these interactions, she was making the annoying gesture of looking sideways when I spoke with her. i ordered a few drinks and appetizers. She grabbed the happy hour menu and walked away, even though there were still 15 min left. She then showed up again, asking with an attitude if we were going to order anything else. When we ordered from the main menu, she started acting out a different script, coming by every 5 min to ask if everything was good, in an automatic manner. Throughout this whole time, she was beeing very meek and respectful with other customers, who were bossing her around. I guess the management should train the waitstaff, not the least, in not treating customers with disrespect based on how much she expects they will pay or tip.
Rhe food overall was not good. Overly salty, stale, claiming to be asian fusion but clearly made by people without much understanding of Asian food, and cutting corners. It definitely was not worth the trip.
We ended up spending almost $200 for 2 adults and 2 kids. Not a nice experience.
Ambience and decor very average, but the food is absolutely OUTSTANDING.
We are thrilled you enjoyed your experience with us! Looking forward to having you back soon!
Fun vibe with excellent service and food. Great group date spot to start a night on the town. Hidden gem.
Wow, thank you so much for your kind words! We love reading about our guests' great experiences. Can’t wait until your next visit!
I love this place! Never disappointed!
Thank you! Can't wait to have you back!
Hard to get beyond the dirty STICKY table tops. If the front of the house is this bad what’s it like in the back?
Food is fusion- confusing. Sashimi tuna on burata?
Where is management?

I love few of the dishes... just a little treat for us while in miami ..,
Thank you for the kind words! Looking forward to having you come by on your next visit to Miami.
Maybe I didn’t make the best selection, but the sushi I ordered was not specially good. You end up paying mostly location.
Honestly I was expecting more from this place.... maybe I should have read the open table reviews?? Definitely a tad over hyped. Our waiter was great--sitting outside on the patio was nice. But the sushi... meh. I know it's not supposed to be traditional but I was just underwhelmed.
-Buffalo rock shrimp tempura ... my fav. Glorified high class bar food.
-Butter krab ... pretty tasty. Could have used more ponzu and the crab could have been fresher imo.
-Yellowtail roll ... completely overhyped. Truffle was interesting flavor but other than that it was quite bland.
-Tuna and crispy rice ... really just ok. I've had much better. The crispy fried rice was dense and pretty disappointing.
I'm sure there are better places in Miami that will definitely try instead of this place next time around.
Thank you for your honest feedback. Comments like yours are extremely helpful to our team and help us improve everyday.
flavours are good. problem is that if you're a true sushi lover, this doesn't work. fish on the nigiri and rolls is razor thin. Seriously, the skimpist fish slices I've ever seen and eaten sushi all over the world and lived in Japan.
On the positive side, flavour combinations are good and so are the cooked dishes
We had the best diner here in 10 days in Sobe. Everything was good, fresh, inventive, delicious, it is not cheap but the value for money is very good due to the high quality. Delicious nigiri sushi (uni miam !), crazy wagyu roll with egg yolk, superb shisito peppers with miso and pistachio, exquisite softshell crab bao...
One of our favorites restaurants in Sobe for 7 years !
Im actually quite disappointed with this place. The service was really great and ambience was good. However, the food was not fresh at all. My husband and i got sick after eating there and we were in bed the whole next day with stomach flu. We had to miss our opera event (wasted tickets) happen8ng the next night because our stomachs were so upset. I thought it was really overpriced for the type of quality they have...not going back to that chain
Best sushi in Miami
The food wasn't that great for the price and they charged me $125 more than I signed for on my credit card. Really unhappy with it since I love Pubbelly Noodles. Definitely overrated and wouldn't recommend.
this used to be a favorite, but this last visit was most likely the last time to visit. since their 'expansion' the portion sizes changed, the quality/freshness was lacking and we spent $200 and went home hungry. you can't start off strong and then sell out to the masses and expect to keep your loyal customer base. pubbelly sushi may have jumped the shark. typical Miami!
Fantastic spot, great food, black truffle dumplings were amazing. Heat roll, ramen, dates avec chorizo, Chinese eggplant and a good bottle of Sancerre. One of the best fun places in calm part of Mb. Great job to the team there. Will be back.
No liquor license and mediocre service
Excellent service and food. Server gave great suggestions
We ordered the miso soup to start. It was excellent. Also ordered crab and heat roll sushi. They were quite good . The dessert took some time so the server gave it to us as complimentary. A nice touch . Shows they care about their reputation
Excellent value at lunch with Bento Boxes. Server very helpful and it was nice sitting outside now that weather has cooled a bit. We have always eaten dinner, but lunch a great deal with lots of favorite tastes on plate.
Wow Ruth, thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your thoughts as we love reading what dishes our guests enjoyed the most! We hope you can join us again so please reach out to me for your next reservation Marketing@pubbellyusa
Everything we ordered was very tasty and the service was quick! Highly recommended.
Not as good as what the Lonely Planet said. Service was below average, most of the wines by the glass were not available. Food was good but nothing special!

Love this spot! The butter crab roll and the octopus (sauce in the side) are fantastic. Also like the small cans of saki they have and they pack a punch. Looking forward to coming back!

We ate inside because of the weather, bad decision as it was incredibly noisy. The music was blaring, the party seated next to us was also bothered by the noise level and music selection.
We sent back a chicken order because it was cold and was not to our liking. Otherwise, the food was delicious and our server was great!
The superior older sister to the Brickell City Center Pubbelly. The food is consistent and perfectly prepared. Being a sushi purist, I would not call this a typical sushi restaurant - yes there are raw selections - but generally this is well thought out interpretation of sushi that will satisfy even sushi haters. I know you are out there! Terrific selection of Saki. Order the bottle because the saki pours are small. Terrific cocktail menu for the non- saki drinkers around. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. The surprise this visit was their taco style pork rolls - excellent interpretation, and the dumplings - again excellent interpretations. Having been to the City Center 4x and the original Purdy spot 2x - it will always be the Purdy spot for me.
Amazing sushi with perfect flavors. Music got loud at times but overall not to be missed sushi.
Food was mediocre. We got two cocktails on the house which was lovely but I really expected better quality sushi and cuts of meat!
Our server literally knew EVERYTHING on the menu in great detail. We wanted to go to to our favorite spot in Hollywood go bistro, but since I’ve seen Pubbelly on Instagram 748583984 times we gave it a try and this is our new favorite. It’s just sooooo far from where we live. Worth every second of the drive though.
Excellent food but came out way too fast. 6 courses in less than 40 minutes. Should have been spaced out better.
Oh man! We really wanted to give this place a great review, since we loved the original Pubbelly so much!
Waygu Tataki was so grisly, we had to spit some pieces out. When we mentioned this to the server, she said, “Was ALL of it that way?” She never offered to take it off the check.
Stick to the seafood if you go. They were out of all 1/2 bottles of dry saki. Server never offered us the option of ordering saki by the glass. We spent $200 and left hungry. Too many good sushi options in Miami to consider giving them a second chance.
