Went to see a live band here, service was a bit slow but other than that the ambiance, the food, the drinks were all great
If you’re a pig, this is the place for u. We came for Mother’s Day brunch at $56 a head (party of 10) for pancakes and bacon. It’s a gastropub, right? And In trendy South Miami. I would have gotten a better buffet at a Shoneys. There was nothing special at the buffet to make u say u ate something decent. Disgusting food! the servers were even embarrassed with the food. It was prepaid so we couldn’t get our money back. Unlimited weak Margaritas where u have to flag down the staff for refills. And drinks cost extra! Ripped off on Mother’s Day. I Should have known since they had plenty of reservations on Open Table. Also, I only read the good reviews. This place was just awful.
The buffet was tasty but scarce. Seems like they were not really prepared to serve it. They kept running out of bacon, bagel, french toast, had to wait for them to come out of the kitchen.
Total Scam to what was promised in the reservation. I am not a person that does reviews often. But this place and services promoted was a total scam. After 3min of seating I returned the table and said I was not dinning there.
Misleading advertising I paid an extra $150 for bottomless mimosas which in their advertising says that it’s included!!! Do not recommend this place is falling apart and had rain drops falling and waiters and all I got when I complained about we a napkin. For the price I would have done rusty pelican ... mother’s days sucked!!! Don’t waste your money. Famous grandma was not the one I expected it turns out to be our waiter with a bats from casa.
Service was great but the food took forever! Not happy about it since we had taken out friends to enjoy a nice evening & my friends husband didn’t get his food until we were all done eating.
We where their to listen to the live band and spend a nice time with old friends.
It was much better than last time and we really enjoyed the band and service was great
Horrible experience. We were seated at our table for over 20 minutes before anyone ever approached our table. Ordered a bottle of wine and 10 minutes later were told they didn’t have that bottle. Ordered another bottle of wine and the waiter came back to our table with 3 different bottles of wine and said this is all we have. By this time 45 minutes had passed and we still didn’t have drinks. We left and will never return.
It was a great experience. Our waitress waa wonderful.
We had an amazing Time! I definitely recommend their tacos for appetizers and ribs for main entree! Servers were super nice and on top of their tables and the host was a delight!
Thank you guys!
Service was good, our server was attentive. Because of the mask situation one order was incorrectly made. We ordered cauliflower but got calamari instead. The beef sliders were over cooked, somewhat burnt and dry, with barely no cheese. They were difficult to swallow. Not sure if we would go back.
Great service. Bottomless mimosas were actually delish. Service was fantastic, and the DJ was on fire. Fun brunch spot. Only thing missing was specialty coffees (no cappuccino or espresso). Will def be back.
They had an issue with the cook and had no one in the kitchen, still took our order and when the brought it it was not what we ordered and were the nastiest burgers ever, first and last time I go there!
Food took over an hour to get. Service was beyond pitiful. We saw three different servers and no one asked if we needed anything. We spent 20 minutes trying to flag the manager down to pay. Worst part was there were only 6-7 customers yet.
We have been here many times. I am guessing poor planning. There is no way you can have 4 waitress/servers/jack of all trades, for an almost packed place. It’s impossible to insure everyone gets service correctly. Other than that, it’s a wonderful place to have a great time. The food is really good. The drinks, not enough alcohol to talk crap.
We were there for 2 hours waitress did not come to our table until 25 minutes after we sat down. Requested water at the same time we ordered drinks and drinks took over 30 minutes each time ordered and we never received waters at our table after requesting it on 4 occasions we were told that they had not enough glasses to serve water. Very dissatisfied in our experience will not recommend
Very good and hospitable.
The expensive rye whiskey old fashioneds kept getting smaller with each order.
The service was okay but you couldn’t hear the waitress over the horribly loud music. It was a bug in one of the waters the waitress brought to us but she was nice enough to switch it, the food was so so we definitely had better! And I didn’t like how it seem they were rushing us to clear the table such as ordering our food and even while eating they didn’t ask were we done before taking it away , and we brought a cake for a friend birthday and this lady came up(didn’t know who she was) and was trying to take it out the bag I guess she was a manager but still ask before touching!! When we were ready to pay she never ask were the checks together or separate she took it upon herself and put it together which normally you’re suppose to ask before taking any orders!
For covid times, too crowded. People were standing and walking around all the tables. They had every table filled and 99% of the crowd was University students. Do not go on a Saturday night.
The place is very nice, the food is great. The thing I found it was terrible, was the fact that there was a band, a DJ, UM football game was on, The Miami Heat we’re playing, also. That add up to COVID central. A lot UM students were there walking around without masks on, customers were coming in without masks on and walking around the tables. The Managers on duty, did not confront nor advised any patron, while we were there to please put masks on. They could not control the atmosphere and/ or were afraid of a confrontation might occur. We had our meal and left. Could not risk it. Our waiter, even said; it would be best if we left, because it was going to get worse. The DJ was advising everyone to sit and stop dancing, but to no avail; they kept walking around and dancing without masks all around the tables. No Mgr stepped in to control the situation. My advise, do not go to Pub 52, if you do not feel you need to be in a frenzy of people
Great place for Miami Spice
Our server was great, food was great and drinks were outstanding!
My husband's Father's day brunch was a great success!
The place is smaller than the one on Bird Road (40th st.) but nicer. Due to COVID 19, guidelines and regulations were being followed. The issue, were the guests. They thought they were immune and disobeyed the rules and were advised or leave. Ruben was our waiter, very good service.
Brunch menu very limited and not able to order from regular menu. Never again there for brunch. Our waitress was outstanding.
It was awesome. I came out to hear a popular band that Pub 52 hosts and the food as always and service were excellent!
Truffle Mac and Cheese was awesome, our server Ruben was outstanding and the drinks were great!!
The service it’s ok, the food is good, the band was not the greatest. Overall it is ok
Great food and service! DJ also plays great music
First time was pleasantly surprised. Will be back
I went in a Friday night and the place was not crowded. Just enough people around to enjoy the atmosphere.
Good food, amazing band playing rock, great service and the Pub is very charming.
I recommend the place and I’m sure to come back.
Great waiter. Food was just ok.
Great time with business associates - live music, pool, great service and good food.
We went to hear the bam “Four Play”. They were excellent. Had never been to this bar before. Well located and cool. Parking is difficult as it is in South Miami
We enjoyed everything from our waiter, drinks, food and the live band. We will be coming back!
The service is wonderful. The food is very good. I enjoy going there to hear live bands too!
We went with a group of friends and had a wonderful time! Our server was very friendly and helpful. She took our drink order and the drinks came pretty fast. Once she took our food order, she came by to make sure that we had water. All of the food that we ordered was tasty. We shared calamari, ropa vieja sliders, truffle fries, sweet potato fries, short beef sliders and a spinach artichoke dip. They were all well cooked, and delicious!
We will definitely return!
