As the name suggests, P.S. Steak was established to continue the story of the historic space that was once famed La Belle Vie. As Chef Mike DeCamp spent 10 years at the former French restaurant, this will be his homecoming and opportunity to write his own chapter for the space. P.S. Steak disrupts the perceptions of a typical steakhouse while honoring the legacy of one of the great culinary foundations in the Twin Cities.
The restaurant features an elevated yet accessible seasonal menu, along with a variety of cuts of meat, dry aged in a display case.
The lounge has been given a modern makeover with chic furniture and marble table tops. A selection of living floor plants divides tables to create intimate seating. Bringing warmth to the room, the bar and adjacent fireplace keeps guests cozied up to a menu of progressive cocktails.

On Thursday, September 11 at 5:30 pm, you’ll have the opportunity to dine at a table stretching seven blocks on Nicollet Mall. -------- Choose to dine at the P.S. Steak table and enjoy our feast in community with over 40 restaurants and food trucks. P.S. Steak is serving our menu family style in community with those in your party and your neighbors at the table: -------- To Start - Caesar Salad: scallion butter croutons, pickled celery, & parmesan -------- The Main Attraction - Roasted Denver Steak with aligot potatoes, roasted carrots, & sauce au poivre -------- Finale - Carrot Cake with date puree, cream cheese frosting, & walnuts -------- $120 per person includes tax and gratuity.     Dined here for a birthday celebration. Server gave us great recommendations and top tier service. Food was amazing especially the garlic bread and beef tenderloin! Definitely will be coming back.

    My wife and I had a wonderful dining experience. My steak was very flavorful, incredibly tender, and prepared perfectly. My wife’s salmon was excellent. Salads, sides, desert very well done. Service top notch. We look forward to our next visit.

    We used to love it here and could count on a spectacular meal every visit, but we were disappointed with out meal overall. We ordered the Manhattan cut and it was shockingly small for $70 and just ok. The crab cakes were pretty good but not great. I enjoyed the fresh dill on them. The asparagus was terrible and not cooked through consistently. The hashbrowns were the highlight of the meal. They were perfect. It was also weird that none of the plates were warm. Normally the dishes are hot to the touch which keeps your food nice and toasty all the way through. This was not the case last night. Super disappointed that such an expensive meal was just so so. Cara, our server at the bar, was absolutely outstanding. Cocktails, wine and service were spot on.

    I absolutely love P.S. Steak. I have eaten here several times over the past three years including most recently this past Friday. The service is always attentive, the food is always fantastic, and my guests always have a wonderful time. Can't recommend it enough!

    Overall the restaurant has become more overpriced. Steaks on the small side - we had the steak trio for $120 without any sides. Barely sufficient for one. And $15 to park? Should be complimentary with a tip.
