    Excellent dining experience. Food quality and service were superb. Waiter was knowledgeable about menu selections and was detailed in explaining choices. Accommodated a member of our party with a substitution of a portion of dinner selection. Highly recommended.

    The food was wonderful, the staff extremely attentive and the atmosphere delightful. A minor suggestion would be to reduce the heat in the Shrimp and Grits; the spice level overpowered an otherwise delicious dish.

    First time trying this restaurant as out of town visitors. Food is scratch made, which means they are happy to modify as needed. I have a gluten intolerance, and was able to eat most anything on the menu with a few tweaks. Server was very attentive without being overwhelming. My husband and I tried the tuna app, and shared the red snapper, short ribs, and brussels. Each was amazing. For dessert, I was delighted to find that their churros are gluten free!! I haven't had a churro in over a decade. Our server warned me to avoid the chocolate dipping sauce, but the caramel was entirely safe, and per my husband it was the better one anyways. Lovely night, amazing food, friendly staff, this is a must try if you're in Fort Wayne.

    This was our third time in proximo, the food is always delicious, a very innovative menu with a pan- latin twist. Their drinks are so good the Oaxacan old fashioned was amazing , my husband tried the barreled aged old fashion ( one of the best old fashions we ever tried). The menu has some Peruvian, Cuban, Colombian dishes with a Próximo twist. Also some Spanish favorites; the paella was 5 stars , the tostones with carne delicious , we tried a couple of the ceviches ‘tiraditos’ really out of this world. The short rib and the scallop rissotto were also very good. Such an amazing restaurant. Please save room for dessert- their rendition of the milhojas was even better than the original

    If you're in Ft. Wayne you MUST go to Proximo. Unusual and tasty appetizers, entrees, and drinks. We discovered it searching for a place to have breakfast. Loved the breakfast so much we came back for dinner. Amazing.

    We ate here for breakfast and came back for dinner. Breakfast was great. It was not crowded and the food was delicious. The only thing I would say is that I had the salmon cake Benedict, which was delicious, but I had to order some toast to eat all the egg because neither the spinach nor the salmon cakes absorbed the runny egg. The dish should come on top of some sort of starch in my opinion. Dinner was delicious but the noise level was horrible.

    $100 for two entrees and 3 drinks. Food was fine, portions were large (maybe too large), service was good. We never got the salad or soup that we ordered and were seated next to a large, loud group in a room with no acoustic treatment so it was hard to have a conversation. Overall it was fine but not worth the price.

    Wow Wow Wow! Food, service, ambience was absolutely perfect. Our waiter Ned did a fantastic job at introducing us to the specials and a perfect bottle of wine to pair with our main course. We ordered old fashioneds and the blackberry margarita and they were spot on. We had the shrimp toast as an appetizer. It was mildly spicey and delicious. The pork chop from the dinner menu was EXCELLENT! There was a complimentary dessert of choice for our birthday celebration. The avocado chocolate mousse included a berry compote that was to die for. So nice! Only thing I can say negative is that we were charged .50 cents for Diablo sauce that was offered to us for our meal. Seems silly and petty when we spent $290 on our dinner for 4. Overall a great experience and will be back.
