We had been meaning to eat here for several months. The stars aligned, and we obtained a Sunday evening reservation. Adam, our server, was incredible. Well versed in the menu, happy to offer an opinion when one of our party had an internal debate between two menu choices, and he did wonderful interacting with our toddler.

Atmosphere very inviting. The noise level is full of people having a fun, relaxed time. The food is EXCELLENT. Unique flavors and all made by scratch, even the strawberry infused vodka for my cocktail. They are willing to alter a dish to your taste or dietary needs. Our waiter, Will, was attentive, knowledgeable and fun. We look forward to coming back!

The cilantro chicken was good. The hanger steak was disappointing. It was supposed to be tender but was not. It did have a good taste. Chantel did a good job. For the price we expected a side dish or at least a roll.

Was disappointed in the fact that I reserved and requested outside seating to be told that outside seating is first come first served. So walk ins took my reservation/request for outdoor seating? That needs changed.

Reservations are booked for inside tables only, if the weather is bad, we have tables for the booked reservations. We do try to accommodate a request for a patio table when we can, but unfortunately there are days that the patio is the place to be. Again, we do try to accommodate all requests as best as we can.

I ordered a half order of French toast but unknowingly received a full order. I asked about the price and was told that since I already ate it, the price could not be adjusted and that the manager was too busy to come over. Great server though, great food!

Visiting my grandma from out of State, found this place on yelp. Was blown away and loved everything. I will be coming back on my visits and bring my family as well. Got the garbage skillet and it was amazing! This is a must place for breakfast and brunch for sure.

I really was looking forward to dinner. I lived in Latin America for four years, and the food is amazing. Nothing like the food here. It was fairly dry and had very little spice. I’m not talking about spicy like Mexican food can be, but flavor. Fairly bland. I wouldn’t go back.

While the actual brunch was tasty, charging $2.50 for a slice of dry bread, no butter, and no jam offered did not sit well with a few at my table. One slice, cut in half, $2.50. Come on. And $4 for coffee? Was it harvested by virgin hands, under a full moon, during a lunar eclipse? I don't mind paying for quality food and service, but this trip was, sadly, neither. The entire staff seemed "off" during our visit, and our waiter would literally disappear for 30 minutes at a time. We managed one $4 coffee refill.

Our first time at Proximo, the waiter was terrific and explained everything to us. The food and drinks were great and still talking about it. It was our anniversary and the staff was nice enough to give us a card which made it special.

The food was very good, and the staff was very attentive. I put my wedding anniversary in as the occasion for dining, when we got there, there was an anniversary card signed by the whole staff and complementary dessert on behalf of Proximo.

We forgot about 3 Rivers Parade but I got a ringside seat! My companion couldn’t find a place to park so ended up dining alone but food was excellent and service friendly and accommodating since I stayed through the whole parade! Always a pleasure😀

We have really enjoyed Proximos in the past. We got a repeat steak and eggs plus my brunch bowl. The steak was super salty and ruined everything else on the plate. My food was ok, just not the great taste it had last visit. Rather disappointing. Like every thing else, prices were increased as well.

I feel the dinner menu is overpriced. A vegan dish, with no meat protein, is over $30 with no diner salad or a side. Our service is always amazing! Great patio seating, but you run the risk of loud traffic and smokers near your dining area. Just a little sticker shocked by dinner prices. Or, I would have loved to see more options at different price points. All dinner entres were over $32 but one.

Great place. They need to make their seating in regard to reservations look less discriminatory. A black couple without a reservation was turned away. A white couple without a reservation was accommodated.

As always........... Proximo always delivers with great food and service. We were fortunate to get an outside table ,on the shady side of the building, on a beautiful evening. Cocktails were top notch, dessert were good, some concern that the churo's seemed different than previous visits.....more corn tasting, not bad, just not what was expected.
