Provision is from Cunningham Restaurant Group. A seasonal and sustainably focused restaurant, Provision features fare produced at regional and local farms as well as produce from CRG Grow—a greenhouse owned and operated by Cunningham Restaurant Group. The CRG team has worked with and established relationships with these farmers to make sure that every plate includes fresh, local ingredients to achieve the highest quality dining experience.

Provision is a dinner only restaurant featuring 12 different steaks from regional and local farms, such as Fischer Farms, Strauss Farms, and Viking Farms.

Our vegetables and greens are ultra-fresh. They come from farms such as Silverthorne and CRG Grow, both located here in Central Indiana.

    They could not prepare a NY Strip medium after 3 tries. Although every one else’s meal was fine and the Strip was comped it doesn’t make up for 1 member of the party having no main dish through most of the meal. After the 3rd try still left some of the steak rare, he ate the part of it that was cooked correctly and left over the rest. None of us were able to relax and enjoy our dinner. Provision presents itself as a high end restaurant so preparing a NY Strip Medium should never present a challenge. I hope action is taken to properly train the kitchen staff so this doesn’t happen to anyone else. The front house staff was excellent. After our experience, at this price point we won’t be going back.

    We are regular customers at Provision, however I had the snapper for the first time. It was amazing! The combination of flavors is outstanding. The sauce has just enough piquant spice, and the coconut rice was a wonderful accompaniment. My husband ordered filet, with a potato terrine. The mashed potatoes are bland, and cool, but the potatoes in the terrine are wrapped in bacon, and absolutely delicious. We had a delightful meal, and our server was very attentive and accommodating. We trust Provision to always be a special place to celebrate or just relax with fine food.

    We went to celebrate a scholastic achievement by our son. The staff was so friendly and almost as enthusiastic celebrating his accomplishment as we were! Each course was spot on and timing was perfect. Great atmosphere as well. Service was exactly as it should be, engaging and friendly.

    Excellent dinner experience. Only complaint is price, steaks very expensive and way too big. No one should eat a pound of meat in one setting.

    Spectacular.. Enjoyed chefs tasting menu . Enjoyed a couple immaculately prepared whiskey sours. Bartender was master of his trade. Meal was perfect pace and perfect portions.

    So so lovely! Came here for a family dinner before going to a show and had a lovely time with delicious, beautifully presented food and drinks and friendly service. Definitely a little more on the expensive side, but absolutely worth what you are paying for.

    Can't thanks Cunningham Restaurant Group enough for offering a free entre to veterans. What a generous class act. I frequent all their restaurants on a regular basis and I especially like VIda, Modita, and Union 50. Now I will add Provision to the list. Our service was great and the steaks were cooked perfectly. Both the tenderloin and the prime NY Strip could not have been better. Provision is certainly equals to or better than the best steak restaurants in Indianapolis. Again, thank you for the gracious offer to veterans on our special day.

    The food and service at Provision were excellent. This was our first visit to this property but it will not be our last. Their wine list was limited for a restaurant of this caliber but the wines they offered were too notch.

    We came as two couples and the two men were veterans. The service was very good , she took good care of us. We all raved about our filet steaks which were perfectly cooked and unbelievably tender. The wine was good as were the sides. The other couple bought a bottle of wine and said they really liked it. Overall is was a fantastic experience. We want to thank the Cunningham group for honoring veterans. It was most generous and so appreciated. We look forward to future meals at your various restaurants.

    The reservation seating was 40 min post reservation time. We got shoved to the tsbkd by the bathrooms with no apologies. Definitely didn't with the money dinner had cost

    It is tacky when a restaurant that purports to provide an elevated culinary experience in the form of a chef’s tasting menu accepts reservations (in this case) until 9:00 (we arrived at 8:45) but hard closes the kitchen at 9:30; the website claims a 10:00 close on Monday. We were in town for business had late meetings and were looking for something special. I suspect my first mistake was expecting to find something culinarily interesting in Indianapolis. Second error was venturing to this restaurant far from the city-center not realizing it would behave like a typical suburban restaurant. I accept blame for that (“my bad” as the kids would say). Nonetheless, a quality restaurant offering a “2-hour experience” (as our server informed us) accepting reservations until a certain time would serve-out customers and not abbreviate its menu beginning 2 hours before that last reservation is accepted to accommodate the kitchen. This restaurant should cut reservations at 7:30, and be clear that a limited menu is available thereafter. Having said that… Starters: the cocktails were quite enjoyable (Manhattan up and an Old Fashioned) king crab toast was ok, the bread took center stage and I think the crab should have been the star of that dish, we split the salad and it was above average (I really liked the cashews!). Entrees: pork was good, sea bass was seared crisp cooked nicely and the sauce was very tasty. Dessert: (closed kitchen would not make the donut dessert for us) orange chocolate tort (actual name is escaping me) was probably one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. It was comical when our server put the check down and asked us if we knew or wanted to hear about the CRG “rewards” program. Ha! More tackiness. No. No, we won’t be needing “rewards”… just serving your stated menu would have been plenty “rewards”.

    We were greeted by a young man, who wasn’t very personable, but saddest at our table quickly. Our wait team was really kind, professional, and knowledgeable. (Shout out to Michael) We started with a “ shareable” dish, which was actually NOT shareable. We ordered the charred shrimp but only four shrimp were in this appetizer. They were good, but not $24 good. We also ordered alcoholic beverages, an endless love, and some type of old-fashioned. These were actually great! My boyfriend ordered the lamb rack. Unfortunately, two of the three chops were very rare. And all three were extremely fattier than what’s to be expected.  I ordered the Bolognese. The overall dish was good, but there were diced carrots, which completely threw the dish off. I don’t know if they were cut too large or not cooked enough, but that was a no for me.  I advise you review the menu before you go. I personally think it was overpriced for what we received. Good luck

    I usually really enjoy the food from here. I am little disappointed this time. Service was good. Drinks were good. The bread was delicious as always. I ordered the salmon and asked for it to be cooked medium well. It was barely medium. I did like how it was crispy on the outside. Just needed cooked a little more. My husband enjoyed his burger.

    I wanted to love Provision. Unfortunately, the food was just average and the service started adequately and then absolutely disappeared as the evening went on. This was an average dining experience at a price point that made it not a good value. . So disappointed; I would not return.
