Provision is from Cunningham Restaurant Group. A seasonal and sustainably focused restaurant, Provision features fare produced at regional and local farms as well as produce from CRG Grow—a greenhouse owned and operated by Cunningham Restaurant Group. The CRG team has worked with and established relationships with these farmers to make sure that every plate includes fresh, local ingredients to achieve the highest quality dining experience.
Provision is a dinner only restaurant featuring 12 different steaks from regional and local farms, such as Fischer Farms, Strauss Farms, and Viking Farms.
Our vegetables and greens are ultra-fresh. They come from farms such as Silverthorne and CRG Grow, both located here in Central Indiana. In many cases, produce will be growing in the afternoon, harvested, and on your table for dinner.
Michael, our server, was great. Food was delicious. Ambiance very nice. Thank you for a lovely evening.
Fantastic food, very fresh and good quality. Service was very attentive and ambiance good. Slightly noisy in my opinion
Great experience and amazing food!
Chris and all the stuff were fantastic always. Attentive staff and food and cocktails were excellent.
The food was great as usual, but we were seated at the worst table in the entire restaurant - which was entirely unnecessary as 30-40% of the tables were empty.
Our table was by the kitchen, and next to the bar back door and on the path to the restrooms. To add to the bizarre-like atmosphere, we were approached by a panhandler during our meal.
We are members of the Cunningham VIP program, but we did not feel like it tonight.
We had a delightful time in this very modern but casual setting with a nice evening, meeting friends, having cocktails and a wonderful appetizer then dinner. Our dinners fish and chicken were delicious, as we expected they would be. The atmosphere was busy and we enjoyed our time together without being rushed
We were there to celebrate our anniversary and were very pleased with the overall experience.
My wife and I chose the Snapper and special which was Sea Bass, respectively. Both were delicious. Our salads were the Grow and the Beet Salad. The Beet Salad was an interesting mix of ingredients and I would definitely go for it again. Our server was good overall, a little too over-attentive at first, pacing by our table and my Brussels Sprouts never came; while the oversight was noted later and offered, by that time I declined.
We will return.
Patio was perfect. Great meal!
The food and service, as always, was outstanding. We especially enjoyed the fried green tomato appetizer. Our waitress, Danielle did a wonderful job.
Too noisy to talk across the table
I did not appreciate the service. Was treated like a second-grade citizen.
We celebrated my dad’s birthday at Provision. Food was good but a bit overpriced. Nevertheless, We had a great time.
Mixed bag - great food, but horrible service. Perhaps we just had a bad waiter. We've been to all the other Cunningham restaurants in Indy, Plainfield, Brownsburg - have never had poor service like we had here. And for Provision to be one of the most expensive...
A fantastic meal with top notch service!
Fine dining, lively bar/drink scene, intriguing atmosphere, and luxurious service. Vast wine selection spanning all varieties and price points. The menu is creative and inviting, but not exotic and risky. Each dish was customized for the individual (allergies). I would eagerly return on any occasion, but the price would suggest waiting for an occasion.
Awesome experience!! Would recommend to anyone! It was excellent.
The food at Provision is truly wonderful. There are interesting options to choose from as well as typical options that include seafood and various cuts of meats. The cocktails were wonderful and the service thoughtful and rapid. We did sit outside as the noise level inside was a bit much.
I would like to see specials included as well, I don't believe any were available when we went.
This was our third Provision visit and it was excellent+ as all have been!! Our server Nick was great ( as ALL have been!) , the dinners EXTRAORDINARY and the atmosphere comfortably elegant!! We will be back soon!
Our server was not attentive at all! We waited more than 5 minutes to be greeted and told he would be with us shortly. Although we were there to celebrate two birthdays, there was never an acknowledgement by any staff member until I made a comment that was overheard and was told dessert was on them. Glasses and plates were not cleared in a timely manner...he commented that we looked like were finished which we confirmed, yet our dirty plates remained on the table another 10 minutes. My son-in-law had to retrieve his own after dinner drink from the bar. Really poor service which made the overall experience extremely unpleasant. Although the food is very good, I am not sure I will make this a selection for future nights out, especially given the high cost!
Nicole was a great server. Food was excellent. Great atmosphere. The outdoor deck and indoor bar area is super cool.
Steak a little under cooked but otherwise great!
Food amazing as always. Service was spectacular. Food came out at a great time and server was very knowledgeable about the menu
Service needs improvement badly, been there at least 10-12 times and service only gets worst.
Overall great experience!
Okay its a cool building. Unfortunately we never really felt like we were part of the restaurant. We were seated by the hostess station on the other side of the wall from the other diners. It was a buzz kill for the entire evening. It just felt weird watching people come up the stairs, then check in with the hostess and we were sitting right there. The hostess tried to seat another family there and they flat out said "no thank you we want to eat in the restaurant"
On the positive side: Service was great, really top notch. Drinks were good, desserts were tasty,
menu is somewhat limited, portions are limited in size. We where anxious to go here because we love the Cunningham brand, however, we would probably go another direction for a great steak or filet.
We visited Provision for my husband's birthday. The atmosphere was elegant, but comfortable. The food was all fantastic. Our meal started with a salmon mousse amuse bouche which was delightful. Our server, Todd, was very hospitable, extremely knowledgeable about the menu and made wonderful recommendations. We thought our service was great, but they hold themselves to very high standards and before we realized we had waited what they consider too long for our appetizer, they comped it which was completely unnecessary but very appreciated. We will definitely go back!
Todd, our server, was superior. We will ask for him next time when we dine at Provision.
Food and service was outstanding! Nicole was our server and she went above and beyond to make sure we had a fabulous experience. Loved the cucumber cocktail, tuna , filet and sides. It was a wonderful evening!
Provision was absolutely amazing! The food was phenomenal (definitely get the filet)! The service was outstanding. We went to celebrate our anniversary and our waiter (Joe) greeted us with free Champagne to celebrate. Wonderful experience and we will definitely be going back!
Had dinner her with family of 6 on a Sunday night. Appetizers we ordered were oysters, bread basket (should be free with entree) and the shrimp. All good! Dinner was steak (all cooked perfectly), tortlini pasta, and snapper. My snapper was lightly blackened and so delicious! We had no leftovers! Dessert was the pecan pie and ice cream. We ordered two and again, no leftovers. Service was great too! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for fine dining that offers food with a twist of spice fusions and variety. Price is on the higher side but you get what you pay for. I will definitely return.
Fabulous service. Third time here, and they never disappoint!
My husband and I ordered the "Chef's tasting menu" with a couple of cocktails from the drink menu and everything was very delicious. Each course was beautifully presented, temperate appropriate, and seasoned well. We sat in the dining room which wasn't too noisy that my husband and I could talk to each other, our server was very attentive and each course was delivered within a timely manner of each other without long waiting times in-between, and our cocktails were refreshing and not overly boozy, we had a summer sangria, the islander and hibiscus spritz. I'll definitely be back again to ask to sit on their balcony.
We experienced the chef’s tasting with the wine pairing and it was AMAZING!!! I’d highly recommend this place. Loved the entire experience. Service was outstanding!!
WE had a great waiter, Nick who was very attentive without being overly pushy. He accommodated a request off the menu and served us well. I will return to Provision again
I would recommend to a friend with restrictions. Be prepared for a lot of noise; high prices; and a meal that in our 5 times there has either been a hit or a miss. The most recent was a miss. We really like the place -- its location, ambiance, great servers. But not consistent.
We've been to Provision a couple of times. Food is very good. Ribeye was excellent, kudos to the female griller!! Its a little disappointing to pay $34 for a scallops entree that only has 3 scallops! Wine choices by the glass are good but overpriced.
My son and daughter-in-law raved about this place so my wife and I decided to go there for our anniversary dinner. We arrived for our reservation at 6:30p on time and were promptly seated. The waiter came over soon and explained the menu, the chef's philosophy, and other stuff that was designed to make the meal better and impress us. Our first glance at the menu told us that this was going to be an expensive meal, one that didn't fit the decor (which was nice, but not high-priced steakhouse nice). None of the combinations that were presented as meals seemed totally appetizing. Each had a flaw that moved us along to another choice. My wife decided on the lamb chops but wanted asparagus instead of potatoes. They would not do that, so they brought the vegetable as a side dish (with the extra cost). I had a ribeye. My wife said the lamb chops were good, but nothing special. They brought out a couple of "sauces", after my wife had already finished one of her two chops, neither of which did much. The steak I received was good quality meat and cooked to the right temperature. It was drowning in some sauce which, while good, totally hid the flavor of the meat. Don't get me wrong, the food was not bad...it just wasn't anything to rave about and was, as a result, tremendously overpriced. We won't be going back.
Very good! Service was attentive and the pecan pie was killer.
