The waiter took really long to get to our table. We asked for hot sauce for our oysters and the waiter took roughly ten minutes to bring it. A bottle of hot sauce… let me also mention that the hospitality this guy was obviously not attempting to make was worse than a waiting room at the hospital. Bring back the women waitresses please.

Anessa was awesome! She was honest about what was good on the menu and took really great care of us! The oysters were SO fresh! The scallops were some of the best cooked I've ever had. My friend had the pistachio martini and said it was life-changing. The halibut was slightly overcooked and underseasoned but honestly, the service, drinks, and ambiance made up for it. So did the lobster risotto! It was a girls' night out but I'll be coming back with the fiance for sure!

It was an overall phenomenal night. The food was out of this world. We got the RI calamari and clams. Entree was the filet Oscar and it was beautifully and deliciously made. It was packed the whole time so there was a medium/moderate level of volume throughout the restaurant. Service was trying to be attentive to all the patrons.

Food was just OK. Couple dishes such as chicken wings were good. Don't bother getting dessert--not even decent. Service from everyone throughout the restaurant definitely wasn't up to par compared to other restaurants in the area. Not very welcoming.

I ordered the muscles which were under cooked. The waiter had them cooked longer and they were good the second time around. California roll and truffle fries were very good. It was very noisy but I didn’t mind. The waiter was very helpful with the menu. I didn’t care for some of the pictures on the wall. They looked like they were slavery days.

When you walk in you immediately feel like you're going to have a great experience. There's a very good vibe in the restaurant that is inviting. The food was fantastic. Haven't tried any non seafood entrees but I saw them go by and they look great. I had the fried oysters and clam chowder. Both were amazing

Went for Easter brunch . The service was great . The food was mediocre. One meal the fish was over salted ( flounder stuffed w seafood ) and mostly bread stuffed couldn’t find or taste the seafood .Not eye appealing - looked pre made and microwaved not browned at all . $ 36.00 second meal was poke bowl and it was over sauced . third meal was french toast - nothing special looked like bread from a loaf popped in a toaster and grilled . nothing special .

Probably would have been much more enjoyable except for the noise level. It’s a small place which adds to it, but it’s really rude and obnoxious customers who are just plain loud. I miss Joe Marzelli, who never would have allowed it in his restaurant. Very very nice wait staff. Busy, it was a Saturday.

Providence Oyster Bar: A Must-Visit My fiance and I first went a year ago and each time we visit Rhode Island, it's a must stop for date night for us. The service is always friendly and attentive. The kitchen team is phenomenal. The food is always perfectly cooked and seasoned. The oysters are the best. We didn't even like oysters but Raven spoke with TJ behind the raw bar and he was so knowledgeable that we tried them and must order a few each time. He changed our lives.

Had a wonderful meal served by Kiley an absolutely wonderful server. The restaurant is not fancy nor is it meant to be but the food and service is excellent. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted pleasantly and that treatment continued throughout the night.
