Wonderful lunch time experience-- we ordered a la carte and essentially created our own tasting menu. Everything was delicious and service was great.

Our son invited us out to California for a visit and to celebrate his birthday. What do you get a 30 year old minimalist for his birthday? A fantastic experience at Providence! Our son received a personalized birthday card and a candle on his dessert plate.
We felt pampered and they worked very hard to create special dishes for me since I am gluten intolerant.
We would not hesitate to eat there again! Wish there was such a place where we live in Ohio!

Superb food with excellent service. They seem to only offer chefs menus in different variations. But the food was so flavorful and obviously carefully curated! It is also offered with a full wine pairing with some unusual wines. They mostly source locally but go farther for better more interesting ingredients when needed by season.
Our dinner was long but felt like a mini vacation! We are saving up so we can go again sometime.

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The presentation of each dish was very well designed. The progression of the courses and taste was just right. Had a little bumpy start with the service, but the staff recuperated.

We enjoyed 7 course tasting menu and added legendary uni eggs and truffle risotto. Amuse are quite good, beyond expectations and super tasty. Shrimp dishes and wagyu A5 met our expectation. However, They have big problems in their truffle. We added quite expensive black truffle risotto with big expectation. They shaved truffles out of box with long explanation. But unfortunately truffle doesn’t have any taste or aroma. It feels like a very expensive paper looking like truffle. I have never experienced such embarrassing situation in any other michellin star restaurant. All of other colleagues felt same thing and we agreed that they have some problem in truffle management. Staffs were very attentive, and helpful.

This is my second time and still surprising me the creativity and flavor of each dish. Every bite is totally unexpected and in most of the dishes you can taste layers of flavors. It’s outstanding. Also the presentation of each of the 12 courses was unique and well thought. The service is impecable, even the sommelier remember us from our last visit a year ago. So crazy amazing. We literally spent 3 hours of nonstop service. My favorite dishes: KANPACHI with black truffle, burdock gelée, meyer lemon, SANTA BARBARA SPOT PRAWN with sweet pea and mint, the delicious NANCY'S DOWN EAST SEA SCALLOP with morel and hazelnut, finally the A5 WAGYU with pommes anna and crème de sesame was out of this world.
All the staff was fantastic. What a treat!

Went here for a birthday dinner for my husband. The staff were wonderful and so attentive. We went for the chefs course and were astounded at the amount of food we were given. Absolutely delicious, decadent. High attention to detail with every bite. Well worth the price! Would recommend to anyone for a special occasion! Recommend to fast before going, my husband and I were bursting at the seams once we finished!

Annoyed they didn’t have there regular 3 menu options since it was valentines weekend *not day* weekend and didn’t give any notice to that prior to coming. In my opinion it’s just way to expensive for what it is.

You really feel welcome, the decor is pretty simple and the food is amazing. We went on valentines day with a pre fixe menu and they had so many courses it was difficult to keep track. Each course is the size of a half dollar but by the time we finished the meal we were both satisfied. I am glad we went on a prefix menu day i think it would be difficult to pick the individual courses myself frankly. Sure it is pricey.

Yes it's expensive, but it is SOOOO worth it. The food is just perfect, every single bite. The waiters - so many of them, so friendly and they make you feel like they just love making you happy - perfect service. They kept bringing us little sample things to try (no charge) - wow, each one was amazing. We were too stuffed for dessert but they brought us 5-6 sample dessert bites anyway.

In the end it was just under $300 including two main dishes, two starters, two glasses of wine, all the free stuff including fantastic bread and kelp butter (no kidding), and a pretty big tip. Not so bad, really.

I went to Providence with my partner to celebrate our 4 year anniversary. We were not disappointed! This is unequivocally the best meal I have ever had at a restaurant. We had the Chef’s Tasting and all 17 dishes were phenomenal. I highly recommend.
