Super waitress - knowledgeable -attentive and responsive. Chefs do a superb pizza crafted to serve 2 different orders. Chocolate mousse luscious . Noise level detracts from experience. Is there an acoustic intervention that could dim the roar on a Sat PM ?
Despite the fire alarm going off, the thirty 10 year old boys hockey team and their parents and coaches making too much noise and then the 20 men that took our server from us, it was good. LOL We have been many times before and will go again. We really like the place...........this visit was just the pits. But the food was still great!!
It was Valentine’s Day. The restaurant was running a special which was delicious and a great value! The valet was the only hiccup of the night. The restaurant was very busy, there was no on street parking available as there was a big event downtown, and there was only one valet to park and retrieve cars with no order. We waited a solid 20 minutes for valet to park our car then when we left the restaurant we waited outside in the cold for over ten minutes before we returned to the restaurant to inquire where the valet was- he had left for the night and our keys were inside but no one had informed us!!
Service is fast. Waitstaff well trained and attentive. Drinks are ample. Wings and salads are delicious. And the pizza, outstanding! My 1st choice for pizza in Providence.
Went for Valentine's Day with husband. I loved the lobster pizza that was the day's special. We had the wings as an appetizer. They were good, but a bit dry.
We go here whenever we go to Providence Dunk for an event. We are from Boston so we make reservations for dinner and park near the restaurant and walk to Dunk. The meal is always the best part of the night. Amazing food, amazing staff. I never write a r view but because this place is our def fav I had to! Plus, I was stuck in traffic and they took my order before I arrived and held my table as well. Not sure if any place else would do this- especially as people were waiting for tables. Top notch!!
My daughter and I got reservations prior to attending a show at PPAC. It was a very short walk, we were seated right away and the service was great. The pizza is crave-worthy and they had a great beer selection as well. We will definitely be returning!
We arrived about 30 minutes before our reservation because the PC basketball game ended early. The place was packed. They accommodated us and we sat down earlier than our reservation. Service was fast in spite of the crowd. We ordered pizza. It came to the table with the crust black. Now from what we saw when we arrived ALL pizzas had a blackened crust. Not what we like. Overall the food was good. A very energetic place for groups. According to my spouse the restrooms were horrible.
Great Pizza! Almost as good as the famous pizza of Pepes and Sally's in New Haven, CT. The superb quality of the sausage and pepperoni and the spicy sauce and delicious crust was memorable. Wings were great too. Nice fun "happening" atmosphere with friendly service. Excellent that they also take reservations. Great preshow place to go.
We thoroughly enjoyed each dish shared by the table ... the pizzas, wings, and salads. All the flavors were fresh and distinct. It was a fun evening with great food.
Pizza was great, service was great, just need to dust off the fans, dust was falling onto our food until we asked them to turn off the fan.
Loved the food the wings were wonderful Rabi pizza delicious
Made a reservation on Open Table for 5:00 because we were seeing Sebastian Maniscalco at the PPAC at 7:00. Valeted our car, for free (with tip of course). We sat right down, and our waiter, Joe came right over. He was incredibly friendly and attentive. We had a delicious antipasto to start and then had the rabe, sausage and ricotta pizza. It was VERY good (maybe a little more garlic). We both had cocktails and the bill was incredibly reasonable. Walked to the PPAC, saw a GREAT show. Came back to the restaurant and the valet was there, took our ticket, and was so courteous and kind. We waited maybe 5 minutes for the car. Such efficiency! Thanks for a great night, Providence Coal Fire Pizza!
Went in for pizza day and the pizza did not disappoint.
Also tied their wings for the first time, outstanding!!
Group of friends meets and eats here before PC games. Very good pizza, great wings (and I am not a wings guy, hate to work at my food but these are worth it). Convenient parking and close the Dunkin' Donut Center. All around great place.
We were a party of 9 and were there for pre-theater lunch, so because we had limited time I made reservations the day before. The moment we arrived, they had all are orders ready to deliver to our table. The meals were fresh and delicious, and the service was prompt and attentive. I’ll definitely be back.
We always eat at Providence Coal Fire Pizza when we are in Providence. The food I excellent, the service superb. It is loud but always bustling. Never been disappointed and will definitely return. We gave up our reservation to sit at the bar. Friendly bar tender and patrons.
Good food but expensive. Wings. 2 pizzas and a bottle of wine came to over $90 with tip.
We always enjoy Providence Coal Fired. Had a great table we had requested and a free desert for my husband’s birthday. Our server, Kayla, was terrific. We always get wings and a pizza ( today was half pepperoni and half The Conrad)
Looking forward to our next time!
Seated promptly. Server came over quickly. Very accommodating. Excellent food and drink.
