We have been there 3 times in 3 weeks, so we must like it! The first 2 times we sat outside, then we sat at the chef’s table which was a lot of fun. Food was excellent, service was good, but as with all restaurants in Providenciales, the prices are steep. Also, make sure to use bug spray before eating at any outdoor restaurant - the no-see-ums will bite you until you have gone mad!!!
Saved this place for our final vacation dinner in Turks. My group of 6 (2 adults and 4 teens) sat outside. There’s not much to look at as it’s just a courtyard but it is nice enough. The kids all had steak and enjoyed it, portions a bit small. They also loved their small side of Mac N Cheese. I had the best fish fish dish of my life, the grouper,. It was phenomenal. Place is a bit pricey but it really was a great meal overall. I would go back again.
De l’amuse gueule aux plats principaux tout étaient
Délicieux. Petit bémol le prix du vin mais nous sommes à Turks and Caicos
We dined here in the past and enjoyed it. Tonight was different. Service was not friendly nor attentive. One dish was over-salted and it was either over-cooked or the actual lobster wasn’t good. The manager was defensive about its preparation and service was quite cold. The tuna appetizer was also quite salty, but our other main courses were tasty. We will not be coming back and there are many better options for the money in TCI.
Great food. A little on the high cost side even for the area's better restaurants. But we found better than the top rated restarant Coco Bistro. Service and food.
The food was wonderful and the staff were very pleasant but over-worked/under-staffed. Not a great location for such a posh menu though.
Everything was great, service and the food and the wine. The only bummer was something they probably can't control. People bringing small children and having them watch their iPads on full volume, no your phones, and then also having them run around the restaurant screaming. It was Valentine's Day, so I was a bit of a bummer. But again, this is a very friendly family place and I get it, we have kids.
The food was truly excellent here; a cut above even the strong island restaurants. There is no view or ambience but they do their best with umbrellas, table settings, etc. and are very welcoming. We met several people who were there for their second visit.
Love Provence. Food is the best and service is excellent
Great food and presentation - an awesome evening
My husband and I were so fortunate to hear about Provence, prior to our trip to Turks and Caicos. I made reservations at multiple restaurants including Provence, for our ten day visit. Upon arrival at Provence we asked to have a table inside and the hostess said to pick any open table we wanted. The wait staff was super attentive. The best part, the food! I have never had a better veal dinner, ever. My husband had the Iberico ham and loved it. Before we even paid our bill we made reservations to return. We'll sit at the chef's table in a few days and watch chef Eric create his magic. This is our fifth trip to Turks and Caicos and our first experience with Provence. We will definitely tell friends and family coming here to eat at Provence.
Good food, waitress was rushing us, very expensive. I would instead go to Carribean Elements located in the same strip mall.
A gem. Best food we've had in Provo in 25 years...and there is an abundance of good food in Provo. The service was prompt and friendly with a smile. Portions are a perfect size to satisfy but not stuff. you won't be disappointed.
Our server was horrible. Our appetizers came out within 15min of placing our order. Our mains took an hour and a half with no explanation, no apologies.
You may have your times mixed up. I remember you coming 1 hour early as you hadn't adjusted the time on your phones, so I escorted you next door to watch the BB game you wanted to see. We seated you at 7:52pm still a little earlier than you had booked for and you left the restaurant at 9:04pm after eating both your appetizers & Main Course. Our Restaurant Manager spent 10 mins with you explaining this, with no success. Sorry we are not a fast food place, maybe that's what you were looking for?
Best restaurant on the island! Sitting at the counter watching the staff cook was like watching a ballet. The food was outstanding. Definitely go visit Chef Eric!
The food was amazing! I will definitely be going back!
From start to finish the dining experience was exceptional. The best restaurant in Turks and Caicos!!
As always the food was tryuly exceptional. the lobster was perfect and the lamb special was absolutly perfect the staff as always was great
Matches, and beats, some of the finer restaurants in US. Upscale tropical casual with impeccable taste. The food was creative with both a French and Italian flare. Our only regret was there was nothing left on our plates to take back and try the next day.
Absolutely exquisite. The food is inventive and delicious. Big mistake to visit TCI and not diner here.
The food at Provence was really exceptional. The service was pretty awful. long waits for drinks and then for the main course (where they got every single order set down in front of the wrong person). Ordered a bottle of wine that did not show up until we were all half-way through the dinner.
If you can ignore the service—it is worth it for the food
Good food. Well prepared. Great bread. Worth a try. Service was adequate could be friendlier. Expensive.
Food was amazing. Be prepared for an expansive bill but food was so worth it. European portions though.
Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Provence. Everyone was very nice and attentive. The menu was eclectic French, not typical French bistro. Everything we ate was delicious
One of best meals we have had just about anywhere. I would highly recommend sitting at the Chefs Table, which is basically a small bar that wraps around the “kitchen.” You can watch the chefs make all the great food.
Absolutely love Provence! Sarah is great and CJ makes great cocktails. The entire staff is excellent. Going again next week!!
Awesome meal! Everything on the menu looked great. Ordered their take on the caprese and it was delightful. The chef special that night was lamb prepared two ways, a rack and braised shoulder. Was so tender and oh so flavorful. The wagyu and frits were also amazing. The attention to detail displayed with each dish was impressive and the presentation was artful. Highly recommended!!!
Great experience! Will definitely return !
This is fine dining at its best
Worth the experience a real must
We were in Providenciales for 2 days and chose Provence Restaurant for dinner
I was very disappointing . It is one of this restaurants tries to show as a chef restaurant , but food is only average.
We asked for a bottle of wine , and the wine was served in one of these water glasses and not wine glass .when we noticed that they had the wine glass , we asked to change , what was done immediately .
The location is in one small shopping and felt like being in a cafeteria .
With the name Provence , we expected to have a better ambience .
Great food . Excellent service . It’s in a lovely landscaped setting with outdoor seating . Presentation of food was excellent . Variety of choices was good , not exceptional. But all dishes were prepared extremely well. Nice wine list too.
Best restaurant on the island. Food was outstanding.
Loved watching the chefs prepare this amazing meal- wish I had room for dessert!
Outstanding meal as usual. The top dining spot on Provo for us.
The food is the best part of Provence, it was exceptional. The risotto was a great choice, the charred Spanish octopus appetizer left a bit to be desired - great flavors, just a bit lacking on octopus, the Iberico pork was wonderful, and a starter of the burrata salad was nice. Overall, a great food experience! The setting is convenient but not terribly impressive. The staff were friendly and provided great service.
Wonderful meal. The Halibut special was fantastic. Service is everything you could ask for.
service was very friendly and nice wine list which always makes me happy, but the atmosphere is lacking (bright lights and exit sign give it a strip mall feel, which is too bad as the food and menu were exciting to me). The food was well thought out and some dishes were delicious such as beet salad, but the beef tasted a little off to me. Overall we felt this place had potential but they need to make the atmosphere cozier and possibly rework the menu to smaller and include only stand-out dishes.
Food is delicious and looks like ART! Fresh! Service could be better ... would be nice compliment to pare food and wine suggestions...
This is my second time, service, wine selection and food is really i relly enjoy my self.
