   We have dined at this restaurant before and have been extremely pleased with all aspects of the experience. The restaurant is located in the heart of Cape May Court House, but once parked, you feel as if you have been transported to an elegant estate of sorts. In addition to a beautifully appointed dining room interior, there is an equally beautiful room set up for diners waiting to be shown to their tables.

   The place is beautiful. The service was very good. The food was not remarkable for the price. It is a very small menu, so therefore, we were expecting the food to be exceptional. I got the snails, which was mainly all rhubarb, the trout was good, the strawberry desert was ok, it seemed dry to me. They have perfect wine glasses. It seemed like it was a busy night. Give it a try and see what you think.

   Wow! A MUST check out!! French fine dining in Cape May Court House…at a fraction of Philly/NY costs! And they change the menu monthly! The food was beautiful and tasted amazing. The service was impeccable. And a gorgeous building, restaurant and grounds.

   This was our third time to dine at Provence. As before, the service was top tier and pace of food arrival perfect. We had the 5-course prix fixe, everything was superb with the exception of the snails which I thought were treated with heavy-hand (red wine, savory dark pasta, fibrous ramps). If folks are squeamish, best to offer an alternative, not camouflage them. The trout and lamb entree's were flavorful and cooked to perfection. I personally didn't care for the lavender infused pot'o creme, but its presentation was innovative. The amuse bouche (tempura oyster) and bread (cranberry-goat cheese filled) are always delightful surprises! I'm looking forward to weekend brunch this summer!!!

    Fantastic! Best mushroom risotto I’ve ever had. Presentation is A1. Love that the menu changes monthly. Chef is brilliant and venue is very comfortable. Thank you! We’ll be back.

    This was our third visit to Provence, and for the third time we were absolutely thrilled with our dining experience! The food was outstanding and our server, Max was wonderful!     Our second time here and brought friends to experience the superb dining experience that Provence offers. Each course had our taste buds dancing, the attention to detail, the flavor combinations, the presentation was fantastic. The servers were excellent, Danielle was exceptional and added to the experience. One our of our guests was gluten challenged and was so extremely happy to be accommodated.     The dinner was superb in every aspect. Every dish was prepared like it was a cover photo in a magazine and tasted as delishes as it looked. The dinner was not rushed so you could have a conversation and sip on some wine in between courses. One of the best restaurants I have ever dined at.

    Kudos to our server Danielle who was simply delightful, very attentive, and did an outstanding job. Very elegant setting and nicely adorned dining areas. The food was very good but not “wow” as we’ve experienced with other tasting menus. Portions are small and there are few options if doing the 5 course menu, but it was very tasty and we got to experience new foods which is the whole point of a tasting menu. BYOB a big plus.     We frequent Provence several times a year. The ambiance and service is top notch. We enjoy the food as well. The courses are done with every detail in mind. And they use seasonal ingredients. The last time I went, I feel like my main entrée wasn’t the best I have had there. I had bouillabaisse and the seafood wasn’t the best quality, the fish was very good though. And the portion was very small. My husband had the beef and was glad he chose that. We will still visit and recommend Provence.

    We thoroughly enjoyed this new month’s menu. The flavors in the Lobster bisque and mushroom risotto were subtle and interesting. The fish entree included branzino, mussels, clam and shrimp enhanced by a delicate broth pored at the table. The chocolate cake dessert was the perfect way to conclude the meal. Our waiter , Max, served each dish explaining the uniqueness of each item. He paced the meal so it was leisurely enjoyed. His level of professionalism was the perfect touch to a memorable evening.

    Everything we ate was delicious, but the portions were ridiculously small. I chose the quail from the prix-fixe menu, something I've never eaten before. I could not believe my eyes when the waiter put the dish in front of me, it was a maximum 3" wide on a regular-size dinner plate. I genuinely thought that additional food was going to be added to the plate - but no - my plate was basically empty. I was so astonished that I commented to our very sweet waiter, that it was a very small portion. He looked embarrassed, but said that was how their prix-fixe menu works. He brought us each a glass of prosecco at the end of the meal - we think that was the consolation prize. My friend said "Let's go get pizza." But that was after the $300+ bill for 3 people.     Artistically prepared food served expertly in a gorgeous atmosphere. As expected in a 5 course chef tasting portions were small and overall the food was very good but I was expecting outstanding. Glad to have made the trip to try it.

    New Years Eve 7 course dinner was one of the best meals I have had anywhere. Our reservation was at 7:00 and we did not leave until 10:30. Relaxed pace of the meal made it even more enjoyable. Our server Max was fantastic, explaining each course in detail. Provence is outstanding, and our favorite restaurant in NJ.
