chips were only warm, and gravy was cold very disappointing, had to send the gravy back, not sure if i would go back again

This was my first dining experience at Prospect Hotel & Cellars with my wife and colleagues and we all loved it. We will be definitely visit again.

Service was exceptional. Food was ok for normal pub prices but would have expected better at the prices charged.

We've been here for dinner 3 times so far, I have ordered the Cajun Chicken with Dirty Rice each time because it is so delicious! I hope it remains on the menu forever

Poor acoustics - very noisy. The food order taker did not know the menu. Did not record correctly that a diner required gluten free food. Had to wait for one diner to get their corrected meal. Also asked for not confit garlic on the brussels sprouts - and what was sitting proud on top? Garlic! Scotch Fillet steak was poor quality - the silver sinew (and there was lots of it) not trimmed, making the meat very chewy. Happy to pay the price but expected the meat to be better quality. The steak came with a 'leaves and pickle' salad. The pickle salad - what appeared to be pickled red onion could fit inside a teaspoon measure.

Scotch fillet ordered rare was delicious. Wine lovers will enjoy the selection of interesting wines on wine list and in cellars behind restaurant near large carpark.
