   Fabulous new place to meet and hang out with your mates in Prospect. Food was really good, your usual pub fare offerings, as well as plenty of other delicious choices if a snitty/deep fried food is not your thing. Prices were reasonable, and servings generous. Plenty of good beers on tap, and great wine list. Espresso Martinis were on point. Big TV screens playing the footy reminded me I was in a hotel, otherwise it gives off cool bar/restaurant vibes. Definitely recommend.

   Had the lamb backstrap which was delicious, friends had the salt and pepper squid which they really enjoyed, another friend had the schnitzel which was a really big serve. It’s a great by the glass wine list. Could be clearer about whether it’s table service or bar service. No biggie and we’ll be back.

   We have been to the new PH&C twice now and have really enjoyed both experiences. Staff have been helpful and friendly, the menu and meals are really nicely done. And the vibe is just what the area needed. Not a pokie pub with a touch of class without being wanky! We will definately recommend to others and be back ourselves 😀

   Thinking maybe all the staff here are new to hospitality. We had to all scramble out of our booth to order food and drinks and ask for a wine list. Any extra drinks involved the same process. Nothing offered at the table. We had to ask for the windows and doors to be closed on an unseasonably warm day to help make it cooler, keep down the constant traffic noise and keep the flys out. The food was edible but nothing flash and two pasta dishes were actually cold. Had obviously been plated at least 10+ minutes.

   We were looking forward to trying somewhere new for a group of friends catch-up. We were seated in a booth and found it quite difficult to have a conversation without yelling at one another as the venue was quite loud. The menu had all the usual pub fare but we decided to have a chicken parmy because ‘you can’t stuff that up’ ……… well the kitchen stuffed it up!! It was bland. Neither the crumbs nor the topping on the chicken had any flavour. The venue itself is beautifully styled with very trendy finishing but the noise factor after 1.5 hrs was the deal breaker and we left.
