Prosecco Trattoria Ratings and Reviews
What a great find! This was our first time here & we will definitely be back. The service was fantastic and the food was incredible. We highly recommend the lobster ravioli & the white fish special. Also, be sure to order the bread pudding dessert...this was one of the best desserts we’ve ever had!
I went to Prosecco for an anniversary date with my boyfriend and it was a great experience. Very nice people and service and we could tell by the few regulars around us that it is a very welcoming place. We went on a Saturday night at 6:30 which I would very much recommend since it did get pretty busy at around 7:15
As always, a dinner at Prosecco Trattoria never lets you down! Fabulous food, great wine (and Eric, who is ever so patient with wine 'idiots' like me) - what's not to love??!??! As an added plus, every Friday / Saturday night they now offer LOBSTER RISOTTO, and LOBSTER RAVIOLI - AWESOME!!!!!!!! If you have never been to Prosecco, GO. NOW. And if you HAVE been, but not for awhile, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??!?! MANGIA MANGIA!!!
This is a return visit, and I glad to report that the food, service, and ambiance remain excellent. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the staff are friendly and attentive and the food is prepared and presented beautifully. I can—and will—highly recommended Prosecco Trattoria.
We had been to Prosecco three times previously and really liked it. Unfortunately on this fourth visit the food was quite disappointing. My husband had lamb chops that were chewy and not very tasty; the linguine with clams and scallops that I typically order was bland and many of the clam shells were empty. All in all the food was not as good as when we previously enjoyed ate at Prosecco. The staff and ambience were as good as usual. It was very disappointing, especially because we went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
My wife and I have eaten at Prosecco a few times. The first two times everything was great. This last visit on 10/14/17 was not as good. We were seated and our drink order was taken promptly. After we ordered our appetizer and main course, the wait for the food was 45 minutes. When the food finally arrived, the appetizer had been forgotten. The waiter, who was a "low-talker", did offer to bring the appetizer after the fact and to do so at no charge, which we accepted. The food itself was very good, but the service was not the best on this particular occasion.
Our first time dining there but we'll definitely be back. Great staff from the greeting at the door, serving staff and management checking with you during dinner. Intimate restaurant which makes a special occasion even more special. Food selection and preparation was great and the portions were generous. Wish it were closer to us - we drove 40 miles to get there- but it was well worth the trip.
Absolutely outstanding! I am Italian and grew up with the homemade Italian food daily. The food is absolutely wonderful. The ambience.....Picture a small to medium size restaurant in Tuscany. All of the food servers are incredible...But I will have to say Katie is Crazy Good!!
The owner will go out of her way to stop and chat with almost everyone. Lovely spot. I would give it 100 stars! It really is wonderful!!
Delicious food! My GF and I do keto (extreme low-carb diet) and have a monthly cheat meal. This place hit our carb craving!!!!! We started with the crab cakes, they were interesting and delicious, we kept trying to guess what all the flavors were. I had the lamb ragu with the parppadelle pasta and it was the perfect combination of perfectly cooked pasta with saucy/gravy ragu! Fulfilled all my pasta dreams! My GF had their lobster and spinach ravioli and really enjoyed it, I stole a bite and it was perfectly creamy and buttery! She ended with their espresso brownie and ice cream, which she really enjoyed but I thought it was a pretty basic. I had the berry panna cotta, and it was also delicious. The tartness of the fresh berries worked well to offset the sweetness of the custard, but the marmalade type syrup over the top was a bit much. I ended up ordering a latte to cut through the sweetness a bit more.Overall the food was great.
We had reservations for 7:15 and got there at 7:10 and were seated right away. There was a couple near us that were clearly regulars as all the wait staff came by to greet them at it got a bit loud. When I asked our waitress about which wine she'd recommend to pair with the lamb ragu she didn't seem to know and gave me the impression that she was just recommending her favorite wine. Their wine list was maybe not quite as expansive as I would have liked, but there was a fair variety of wine types to choose from. Overall not much to complain about, on either the food or the service front.
Would definitely recommend!!!!
This is what everyone wants in a neighborhood Italian place.
The staff was friendly yet professional, the food was just minor adjustments (to my taste) away from outstanding and the ambience cozy and comfortable with just enough buzz to be interesting without making normal conversation difficult.
The food: arugula salads; adjustment, I would prefer baby arugula with less stem.
pastas; pappardelle with lamb ragu; my preference would be less ragu and firmer pasta.
penne bolognese; again too much sauce and slightly over cooked pasta
I like al dente ! Both sauces were outstanding.
My glass of wine was a generous pour of an ordinary wine and I wish there was a broader choice of wines by the glass but in a small restaurant there are limits. The sparkling water was refreshingly chilled and a big plus for that.
The best dish we tried was a share espresso brownie with gelato and fruit; BRAVO!!
I will be back as often as possible; Thanks to all the staff.
A perfect place for a great business lunch. The atmosphere is classy & comfortable and the staff is welcoming and efficient. Prosecco has terrific daily specials as well as a comprehensive Italian menu. Whether you want to eat lighter- they have a terrific selection of starters & and salads or dig into a tasty pasta or meat-entree, I always have a wonderful meal.
We were told about this restaurant from friends who live in the area and it is wonderful. A perfect place to meet and enjoy dinner. Amy is the owner and she is delightful. The staff is wonderful and the food is delicious. It was a well-deserved recommendation.
