Local, somewhat hidden, gem! We will be back!
Osso buco excellent. Lamb ragu terrific. Everything always great. Love the chocolate bread pudding for dessert
This is my ‘go-to’ for a nice, quiet, romantic dinner that has great food, a good wine list, and service that allows you to enjoy the meal rather than rushing you through
I have had dinner and lunch there many times over the years and never been disappointed... quality, presentation and taste all wonderful!
Sensation salad nice and bright and meatballs a very satisfying appetizer. Scallops and veal chop excellent. Very friendly and caring service, at the same time not being overly present.
Accommodating and very pleasant staff. Well prepared, tastefully presented dishes over entire meal from appetizers to desserts. Combine that with high quality ingredients used throughout, and you have a real palate pleaser. Given the very good overall experience, a good value. Bravo!
Wife an I have been dining here for years. A little pricey but worth it. Service is always top notch and the food is too. Make sure you pay attention to the specials. Their risotto dishes are delicious, filling and fun to share.
We were seated immediately after a warm welcome. Our server was there very quickly and took great care of us the entire evening. Two of us had the whitefish special. It was great. One had the beef risotto and couldn’t stop raving. The other was the chicken Milanas(sp). Everything was very good and the service was great. This is our go to for great evening of food and service. Love this place.
I seldom have the opportunity to go to Prosecco for lunch but perhaps I need to change this. The special lamb ravioli was extraordinary and my companion raved about his risotto and, not being able to finish it all, took the remainder to have for dinner. Service was friendly and prompt and I look forward to returning, for both lunch and dinner.
Always enjoy Prosecco. Great staff, food is consistently good. Been going there for 18 years now and will return.
This my favorite Italian restaurant. Great food and good service. Chicken lasagna and their tiramisu are both amazing.
Eric and everybody who works at Prosecco are simply the best and the food is always outstanding
Had to wait quite awhile for the valet to appear. Was warmly greeted at the front. Server took too long to show up but was very friendly. After giving us menus and telling us the specials (the white fish was way overpriced and not disclosed until we got the bill) she disappeared and didn't come back for at least 20 minutes---way after we had decided what we wanted. We asked another server and the busboy to let her know we were ready to order but she was still very slow in responding. (She nodded our way once when I motioned for her to come back but still took her sweet time). Food was OK but not memorable. We really wanted to like this place. When making the OpenTable reservation, I marked it was a special occasion (wife's birthday) but that was totally ignored by the entire staff.
Haven't been in a while, and it this experience only made me miss this fabulous restaurant that much more. Everything was perfect...service, food, ambience. Can't wait to return!
Been there twice. Meals, 4 total, we're excellent and included beef and pasta dishes. Some were daily specials. Our hostess, Jessica, had great recommendations for food and wine. Outstanding Italian food equal to anything you can find, including Italy.
Fantastic food and service! We loved our meal and especially our lovely waitress. Can’t recommend it enough!!
Prosecco is family, I have been dining there for over 15 years and celebrate every special occasion with my husband there.
This is our go to place. We alway love every bit of our time spent with the Prosecco family. We will alway come back.
Love this neighborhood gen! Everything is delicious and the service is amazing!
Eric, katie and Amy are the best!
Can't recommend this restaurant enough!!
excellent place to dine. always go for special occasions
I read all the reviews and thought I'd give Prosecco Trattoria a try last weekend but was very disappointed with the food, service & cost.
When we arrived we all thought we'd try a Prosecco as it was a gathering of friends but the quality wasn't good, so in my mind, please don't bother ordering any!! Our waiter was un interested and looked completely bored and it all reflected in the table service. He took our food and wine order and we offered a sample of two different wines to taste, but they never arrived until we had the main courses on the table, even then we had to ask for them. Not good!!!
The starters were just ok, and the carpaccio tasted like it was store bought.
The mains came out .. but we got another tables food, that was then changed out .. I hate that as this means that our food had already been out a while and was getting cold. Myself and my girlfriend ordered the lamb rago and I have to say it was so very very bland, I love pasta and I never usually leave any but we both left most of ours, it tasted like the waiters service .. totally boring!
We then ordered dessert which was ok, but seriously just ok. The tirimsu was spongy and dry but the gelato was probably the best part of the meal, and thats not saying much!!
Then came the check, my god, it was soooooooooo expensive, and for what we got, it was really terrible, pretending to be high class but really just mutton dressed as very cheap lamb!!! Pun intended!!!
Maybe just maybe we went on a bad night (a Saturday night, the busiest of the week) but I'm happy to say we won't ever be going back to Prosecco Trattoria. You shouldn't go either .. its cheap food and a TOTAL RIP OFF.
Prosecco Trattoria is THE place to dine in Toluca Lake. The atm sphere is Italian Villa, the service friendly, welcoming & attentive and the delicious food has been consistently wonderful through the years. Can't say enough about this restaurant gem!
Greate food and service, Eric and the rest of the staff are fanrastic, and this is why there are so many repeat patrons. Reservations are a must, esp on Saturday nite!
Wonderful experience as always. We've been here many times, and we're treated like family. But this is the same warm welcome that all diners receive! Highly recommended.
This is our favorite restaurant in the area, and always a first choice for special occasions. /the food has always been outstanding, the service is great and not intrusive, and Eric always greets us at the door like dear old friends!!
Time and again, Prosecco delivers. Whether it’s a special occasion dinner or a casual get together with friends, they always provide great food in a welcoming atmosphere. Absolutely the best.
Went there for my birthday. Had the chicken lasagna. It was absolutely delicious! My friend had the beef medallions and she said they were fabulous. I have been here before and have never been disappointed. A fine place to dine!
Prosecco was definitely above average Italian food, and not just for Los Angeles. It was not close to the best I've ever had (which was in Philadelphia), but it was better than average which is what I would call, for example, Palermo in Los Feliz. La Pergoleta, also in Los Feliz, is a better option if you don't live in The Valley.
Always consistent. Wonderful staff. Very good food!
Only restaurant so far on Open Table to look at the occasion and do something. Our server brought out dessert and sang happy birthday to my bf.
We chose Prosecco for an early dinner with friends after a matinee theater performance. It was the first visit for all of us but it most assuredly won't be the last! As it happens, traffic was light on that Saturday evening and we arrived quite in advance of our reservation. "Not at all a problem", we were assured by the host, and were seated immediately. And everything was smooth and relaxed from there. We all particularly enjoyed the ambiance created by soft music, carpeted floors, and padded tables covered with crisp table cloths. We could actually converse, hearing every word spoken at an appropriate volume. We enjoyed a variety of starters and entrees presented with care including two specials featuring fish and seafood, another seafood menu entree, and a classic Italian pasta as an entree. Deserts were lovely, fresh, and delicious. Naturally we had Prosecco! There were multiple choices by the glass to choose from as well as other wines by the glass and bottle. We were pleased with the charming but unobtrusive service and appreciated the convenience of valet parking at the door as there are very limited parking alternatives. We will be back!
Wonderful Italian gem in Toluca Lake. The service is 2nd to none. Everyone is super on their game and friendly to boot. The food is superb. A very decent wine selection. We made a reservation, but same day and it was fine. But, I'd recommend making one, especially on a weekend night. we shared a summer appetizer, Watermelon Caprese Salad which was refreshing and delicious twist on a staple. Wife got the penne arribiata and i indulged in the misto mare, with a really good amount of seafood; big tiger shrimp, scallops, calamari.
Just ok. Food was not amazing or authentic Italian.
Great place. Professional knowledgabke staff, great food and wine.
Great, reliable food, service, ambiance, reasonable prices. It’s our favorite place to go and our go to place for entertaining guests.
Excellent, as always.
Just go there. You will not be disappointed. And if you are lucky, you can order the Watermelon Caprese.
Really great restaurant. Service was outstanding and the food was delicious.
This is by far my favorite restaurant in Los Angeles. We have never had a bad meal there, and we have several dishes we enjoy over and over: chicken with artichoke hearts (order as a risotto instead of with fusilli as listed in the menu), eggplant Prosecco, Lobster Ravioli or Lobster Risotto on weekends, Farfalle pasta with sausage, and Beef medallions. Service is excellent: friendly, attentive, prompt, and accommodating. Managing Partner Eric is a "Wine Whisperer" who can suggest the perfect pairing with your meal. For dessert? The best bread pudding with fresh berries and cinnamon gelato. Ambience is beautiful with a Tuscan feel and there are three dining areas to choose from.
A lovely luncheon! The Watermelon Caprese was incredible......the service professional and friendly.
I’ll be back for sure!
