   The food and drinks are fantastic. Best mussels I've had in a long time. Burrata with mussels?! Yes! The broccoli rabe is also amazing. The sidewalk tables were heated - thanks Covid! I also love the cool ambiance. Beautiful space.

   They would not allow us to order drinks unless every person ordered two appetizers and/or an appetizer and a meal. I wasn’t drinking so I was fine. But my friends were unhappy.

   They provided the table without a heater nearby- given the fact of 60F outside. All other tables had heaters next to them. Shame on management.

   I only made a reservation for a drink and snack, but the server insisted we had to order 4 appetizers as that was their minimum policy for two people. We stayed for only an hour and ate half an appetizer and one cocktail. They charged us for three more appetizers to go which we didn’t take with us as our next venue didn’t permit outside food. It was very awkward to say the least. They also didn’t have our table ready when we arrived and then moved us to a second table because they sat us next to the door.

   I did not feel comfortable so close to Market with street people playing loud boom boxes. I thought there would be a glass enclosed place. Cheesecake was tasty. Valet charged us $18.75 for first hour; we arrived 10 min late and were charged another $18.75. We felt this was a hotel rip-off. We would suggest 1/2 hour increments. We won’t be back to this patio.

   the Japanese inspired tapas were delicious. I especially appreciated the chicken breast tonkatsu. for me, the cheesecake with the green tea ice cream was too salty though but on average, I had a great time.

    We had a great meal at the Patio pop-up at the Proper hotel. I am a big fan of Villon and was curious to see what they have done with outside seating. The patio looks great. The food was innovative and delicious-- we kept ordering more. And the servers could not have been nicer.
