Prohibition Restaurant & Speakeasy
Ambiance and food was great. Food and drinks a little overpriced but overall it was good. Second floor had good music.
Excellent place to share with friends. The Saxo is the best!!! Good Job.
I was put off by the valet sign, gave the car and found out it was $20, It did not say that on sign, or I could have parked easily in public parking instead. If I come back, I will park in public parking. Just gave me a bad feeling before we walked in..Once inside, everyone was great.
Great food and good service. The location makes this a great spot for meeting friends after work. Could do without the live sax player though. It’s just too loud and disruptive when he comes to your table and when you are trying to have a conversation.
Hostess was friendly, waiter / bartender was quick.
I think if the restaurant was busier they would of needed more staffing.
The apps and food came out at the same time so that was a little off and my date ended up not eating the dinner. Só I would maybe suggest giving more time in between apps and the meal.
Other than that loved the vibe /space and I would return.
Fun, happy experience. Bartender has a beautiful personality. Decor is great. Food is excellent.
Early dinner before the tennis tournament in Key Biscayne.
All items were very good.
The lobster mac and cheese, and both shrimp dishes were outstanding.
Tough to park. Valet $20
The food was the most disappointing..the steak had no seasoning and the chimmuri tasted like spinach. The truffle pasta sauce was heavily salted. The creme brulee sugar topping was on verge of burning and you could taste that. Drinks & Server were good. Music was great.
Been here twice and consistently have been served quality and delicious food! Would definitely continue to coming back!
Very energetic atmosphere. Food was ample and tasted great. I had the chorizo croquettes to start, and finished with the salmon dinner and an Oreo cake for my birthday dessert. My fiancé had really juicy lamb chops!
What a great experience. The food choices for me were outstanding. I only eat seafood and veggies!! Lots of great things for everyone in the family.
Great birthday dinner experience
The garlic shrimp, burrata and house salad were top notch and the ceviches were great as well. The lounge on the second floor with a DJ is great for after-dinner drinks and dancing.
Everything from the service to the meal was excellent. The Jazz saxophonist was excellent as well.
Went there for dinner before attending a Play. Wonderful Place, You will Love it. The food is very very Good.
Excellent food, good service, mediocre cocktails :(
Food was fair. Overpriced.
Really enjoyed the ambiance, the live jazz and the intimacy of the restaurant. Food was good and priced appropriately. Server was great, attentive but not pushy or in our face. Awesome place for a date or special occasion.
Always a good experience at Prohibition.
Beautiful decor, great food and menu choices. Great place for dinner and drinks.
Great place for cocktails and steacks
Very good service
Awesome vibe, great food, the drinks are amazing, and the crowd is a nice crowd.
My girlfriend and I had a great time. The food and service was perfect!
Excellent restaurant!! Beautifully decorated , food was delicious , ambiance was on point , saxophone playing in the background. Perfect place for a special occasion.
Can’t wait to return ❤️
Restaurant muy sucio
Sat down very quickly, nice restaurant inside, very clean and classy. Food was great went for valentines so the menu was fixed but the choices were great with good price for what you get
LOVE this place! Great food, service, and music!
Prohibition is a very cool restuarant & lounge in the Wynwood District that is different from any other restuarant in the area. The ambiance is very cool with the service and food to match. Having a live Saxophonist playing in the dinning area was a nice touch.
Always outstanding food and ambiance. The owners are always there making sure every dish comes out perfect.
Pasta was great. Grilled salmon was good but not outstanding. Ambient was very nice: live music, colorful, nice people mostly in their high 30s, well decorated; seats were comfortable. Place was expensive though but i was warned that it was son no one to blame. It does worth a visit, maybe two. As a local i'd certainly wouldn't be a regular client, but this would be one of 6 places i would take a visitor to dine out if the occasion worth spending the money. We were a party of 3, bill was around $150 + tip. We shared one appetizer and each one had its own main course. For drinking two had diet coke, 2 bottles each as bottles were so tiny they seemed like a toy. I had 2 glasses of wine, both very good and not pricier than in other similar places. We had no dessert. I had one expresso at the end. Parking was right next door. Service was great, people in general all great. Music was loud but talk-able.
Fun venue. Best Old fashioned and food was delicious. Not the place to dine if you want to have a conversation but great for a night of drinks and light fare
The food was great however when we arrived they didn’t want to seat us until our entire group was there. Then they seated us as an incomplete party after waiting for a few minutes. The evening was going well then after two hours the waiter came up and said we had to leave because the other party had arrived and they needed our table even though there were a number of open tables. I made a reservation using open table about 2 weeks ago, it wasn’t as if we just showed up without a reservation. Definitely a really poor end to what was a good evening. Not going back.
Great place. The only hiccup was that we have to wait over 30 minutes after the time of our reservation to get our table. However, the hostess offered us drinks which was a nice gesture.
Food was excellent but if you are a party of 2 then you are forced to sit right next to the open kitchen giving you the sites, sounds and smells of a busy kitchen. Unless you personally call to make a reservation you will not know this until you arrive because it does not say it anywhere on their reservation system.
So if you want to have a romantic evening with just your partner I suggest you go somewhere else.
Service was great, food came out farely quick and was very delicious..
Like always, great food and amazing service. My favorite restaurant in Miami
Food is always good. I suggest the grilled octopus and the salmon with crab.
Food is awesome. Party of four. Lobster Mac, chorizo croquettes, meatballs, mussels and black grouper. Finished off with banana cream pie and four spoons. We demolished everything.
Vibe is very upbeat, live saxman and eclectic DJ mixes. Bar service a little slow to table which I give a point off. Good martini, extra blue cheese olives not a problem.
I'd go back anytime.
It was a cool place to go to. I loved the live jazz playing and the whole theme of the restaurant. Food was good. Dessert was great and drinks were great. Upstairs bar is kind of neat too
