I was very impressed with this restaurant. We went here before the Heat game and the food was amazing. Family sized portions and a nice ambiance was very nice. I would recommend!
Great atmosphere, The table was ready for us. Service ok. Fresh ingredients And tasty food. kitchen was super fast. Scallops the best of the night.
Over the top Live Jazz musics, very sexy romantic spot for date night. Has an upstairs lounge for late night cocktails or bottle service with friends. You Must try this place!
Best Caesar salad ever. The charred flavor was amazing and somehow permeated the lettuce so I enjoyed every bite. Skirt steak was beefy and tender with the best chimichurri sauce. Scallops were incredibly sweet. Tuna tartare also delicious and easy to eat/share. I think the server was a bit serious and quiet, almost unfriendly, but not to the point of rudeness. On a weekend I can see this being a destination and probably much more lively than on a Monday.
Amazing food, drinks, music, and environment!! Great service and friendly.
As consistent as ever. Look forward to returning soon
Wonderful experience! Great food, service, and overall vibe. Much more chill and better food than anything we ate in South Beach. Would highly recommend!
Took my mentee there for his 21st bday.
Prohibition is always great! The octopus is amazing. The scallops are soooo good. I've been here at least 5 times and it never disappoints
Been passing by this restaurant for months now and finally decided to have dinner there with friends. All of us loved our food and the ambiance was excellent. I had the lobster pasta and my wife had the crab salad both were excellent. Would definitely recommend this place. The one con was the parking. They have an independent valet service that will park your car for $20. This was absurd. Next time we go we will either Uber or find street parking.
We have been eating at Prohibition for a number of years and are never disappointed. This visit however we did notice that a guy was sat eating with a baseball cap on when it clearly states in the dress code that no hats are to be worn, also there was a guy in his scrubs, either straight from the hospital or on his way. We were served by a girl who has waited on us before, her service was fantastic as always.
My party of 8 was pleasantly surprised and pleased with the restaurant and food. Dishes we all loved: scallops, octopus, grilled Caesar salad, roasted chicken, grouper, skirt steak, truffle pasta, cilantro rice, brussel sprouts with cauliflower, and last but not least, the guava cheesecake. Half price drinks for happy hour were good too. You won’t be disappointed.
This place is always wonderful. Service was great and food delicious!
The food was very tasty and prepared perfectly. We tried the Grilled Caesar and Burrata salads, mussels, shrimp ceviche, Pan Roasted Salmon served with warm potato and crab salad cooked exactly as ordered - medium rare. (Probably the best we have ever had at a restaurant in South Florida) and the Seared Scallops. We throughly enjoyed our meal.
Our waitress was very attentive and made excellent suggestions when they were out of something.
5 Star all the way around. A Foodie dream come true. Comfortable, relaxing boutique type restaurant. Excellent drinks. Food is top notch.
Outstanding service and great combination on falvors.
will certainly come back to this place, nice venue and good vibes
Def recommend the ceviche for starters, then the scallops or the lamb chops are must haves. Finish up with the tres leches and you've got a winning meal.
Waited 40 minutes after reservation to be seated
Great food and ambiance. Loved the jazz!!! Went to the bar upstairs and was empty
Went for a Friday night dinner and after lounge event with both live and DJ music on the second level. Perfect combination for those wanting to keep it romantic and chill on the weekend. Ordered a few small plates & drinks.
so when asked upon entry about a happy hour, told no, then surprise, and a good one; our waitress asked if we wanted happy hour drinks (1/2 price). She even put one on hold for after seven pm. Made the dinner. Shared salmon tartar and salmon grilled, and truffle fries. All excellent. Hope the happy hour exists for those who venture in after us since the conflicting information. Would return since that made it a great value.
absolutely amazing... I will most definitely be dining here again!
Food was bland. Wouldn’t go there again
This restaurant is NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY AT ALL.
I had the worst anniversary ever
My server Nicholas was on his phone most of the time forgot we were even there didn’t send our food till about 25 minutes after asking I wanted to order more appetizers and he disappeared completely never got offered anything I didn’t even had dessert the saxophone player was so loud I could not keep a conversation, it was a bad night !!!
Food was great, chef came by and asked if we were enjoying our meal. Server was informative and personable. Great music and comfortable seating. Will be back again soon. Nice upgrades from last time we were here.
Awesome service frank our server was great will be bac
I took my lovely boyfriend here for his birthday. From the ambiance of the venue, to the live sax player we were amazed. The food was so fresh and delicious. Our waiter Frank had great recommendations on the menu and was very attentive and funny. We plan on returning without a doubt. What a wonderful start to an amazing birthday celebration.
Portions larger than expected. Excellent wine list. Service was amazing. Each dish was amazing. The octopus, escargot and lamb were all amazing.
We went because of the speakeasy and it turn out that it was under renovation. Our reservation was for 9:30 and the live music stopped at 10:00
We were sad that the speak easy was closed for renovations, but the food and service made up for it! Frank was awesome and super welcoming. We had no idea it was family style but loved it. Will definitely be back. Our favorites were the truffle lobster Mac and cheese and the skirt steak!
Absolutely fantastic food, and wonderful environment.
Great place, very entertaining. Food is amazing
Sign in front of building says Sax live Thu- Sat 5-7 but Sax player started playing at 7:30 pm. I love live music I got place at 5:45 pm. Anyway I love place.
Small portions. Ordered the shrimp dinner dish received 7 shrimp and 3 hard pieces of bread. My friends steak was okay but really not worth the money for the amount of food provided. Servers move slow
We saw good Yelp reviews and decided to try on our vacation. Food was quite disappointing. Octopus was waaay to season we couldn't taste the Octopus. Steak was chewy and too rare when we asked for Medium Well. Drinks seemed watered down. The Grilled Caesar salad was great. The musician coming up to you blasting a sax in your face while having a conversation, was too disruptive. Service was great and welcoming.
Saxophone player is too damn loud. The food does not come out at the same time for everyone on the table
