Eh, not terrible but nothing special. Service could have been better.
Limited food choice. Tiny sized glasses for expensive cocktails. Very basic decor. Little atmosphere. Probably didn’t help as it was a Sunday. Very nice server
Food was great and drinks too! Would go back again.
Extensive drink menu but that didn’t make up for the really bad, yet expensive, food. Ordered smoked tartare and whipped ricotta and broccoli toast as appetizers. The toast was cold and the broccoli was way way over cooked. Burger came out and not sure how the cheese melted it was that cold. Swordfish was billed as fresh caught - not sure when but it was not fresh. Succotash billed as having lump meat crab there were 2 pieces. And again at best the dish was luke warm. Very disappointed
Very disappointed with the food selections. The drinks were ok, but not for the price. Much nicer bars down the street
Excellent dining experience for our first night in Charleston. Wonderful drinks and highly recommend the shrimp and grits,
Service was great! We ordered two appetizers and then split and entree. Also ordered a few drinks off of the cocktail menu which were tasty as well.
Fantastic cuisine and drinks! Awesome outdoor patio space. Servers and GM very attentive and personable.
Chefs tasting as always amazing! Service was impeccable - dropped a fork and a different server brought a new one within 2 minutes, without us asking. Always great drinks too!
The outdoor, patio seating is great. I had the baby back ribs and they were very good.
When we arrived they said they did not have a reservation for us. I showed them in open table that I had a reservation, they were able to seat us as it was a Sunday and plenty of open tables. However, no one came over to help us. No one. The servers were not attentive to the tables even around us, so we weren’t able to grab one of them. The hostess was missing and had not returned to the front the entire time we were waiting for a serve. After 10 minutes of no one coming over to us or passing by us, we put our arms in the air and tried to flag down a person behind the bar. The employee looked at us like we were nuts. He stood there and responded with a facial gesture, we mouth and used our hands to ask if they could send someone over. He wasn’t even helping anyone and could have come over to ask us instead of looking at us dumbfounded. It was like he was stoned. It was an odd experience and no one still came over. After dining at Hall’s Chophouse the evening before (and The Establishment two nights before) having impeccable service at both, we decided to leave. Again no one has as even at the front as we walked out. While the restaurant was cute and the alcohol selections were extensive, I can not recommend to anyone to go to this restaurant to anyone. They do not deserved your hard earned money. There are so many wonderful restaurants in Charleston, go elsewhere where. We ended up at Layla, a Lebanese restaurant. Service was great. The food was delicious.
Very limited menu and online menu was not accurate.
It was my husband’s first time in Charleston, my second time. We are North Carolina locals and Charleston has become the vacay spot. Also we were celebrating our first wedding anniversary. Prohibition exceeded our expectations!!! Nicholas was are waiter who was so nice and informative on all the foods on the menu. The ribs…. Literally didn’t want them to end I could’ve just kept ordering plate after plate. Even though tartare is a rare and a food that people are scared to try it was beyond amazing! Sooo soo good definitely a spot to check out when in town!
This place feels more like a club than a dinner. It was incredibly loud and we were outside where it was quieter. Good food and service but impossible to have a conversation without screaming.
I arrived at noon and the band was on a break until 1:30 - they only play till 2:00
The staff was accommodating when we asked to move tables to a quieter section of the restaurant, and the cocktails were unique and delicious.
Delicious food and Morgan was an awesome waitress. Will definitely come back.
First time here.
Our small plates were amazing as were our cocktails!
Our server, Chris, was upbeat and on the ball!
Absolutely incredible! Visiting from Nashville and the staff went out of their way to make my wife’s 50th birthday extra special, even slipped band a note to wish her happy birthday from stage and dedicate a song to her. But make no mistake, the food is Center stage here. The eggs Benedict were the best I ever had. We kept it simple, but started off with an order of delicious french fries as well. My wife also really loved the grits.. possibly the best she ever ate as well. We were still so full from dinner the previous night, so next time we go we’ll make sure our stomachs are empty. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Great brunch! Service was excellent, every single thing we ordered was amazing.
Great Restaurant/Bar! Drinks were great and we had the bartender mix custom drinks! My wife and I had a great date night there!
Great food for brunch and incredible band for entertainment. I would absolutely visit again.
Food was AMAZING! Had the sweetest server. 12/10 recommend!
Food and staff were great, but it’s more of a party atmosphere than we were looking for.
Great service but the noise level forced us to keep it app and cocktails and skip dinner.
We loved our experience last night. The food was delish the drinks were incredible and our server Bryce was really great
Everything was perfect. Service was exceptional. Food was phenomenal. The atmosphere was youthful but not rowdy (it was Friday 545 pm and was starting to get full by the time we left). My only regret was that our appetite wasn't big enough to try different things. The portions were not stingy. My husband had a "547 Manhattan" to drink. It wasn't a traditional one but well-crafted. His Angus burger was simple and tasty, maybe a tiny bit on the salty side. I had a Bourbon Thyme, which was better than expected - flawless. I loved the shrimp and grits (and I don't usually like grits). For dessert we had the Hazelnut Budino and it was delicious.
10/10 recommend this place. We did the 4 course special and every single dish was more than enough food and so so good. Drinks were good too.
The food was delicious and the service was great! Oscar was very kind and helpful
The food and service was amazing. Our server was incredibly accommodating and we had a wonderful table in the restaurant.
Very yummy food! Good drinks! The street corn was to die for! Had a hard time holding it with my hands but was worth it.
First time at this Prohibition. Previously ate at the Savannah location. Great food and Nicholas provided awesome service. We had shrimp and grits and the fresh catch and made great choices. The Habanero Daiquiri was spicy and delicious.
Cocktails are amazing. Food is exceptional and fresh local
Shrimp & Grits were in our too 3 ever. The steak was disappointing. Cocktails were amazing! Service was excellent! Ambiance was very cool
Great experience. Great service. Fun live music.
Great experience. Had a late reservation on Friday night. About the time we were done eating, the patio turned the drinks on and music up. Great environment; a lot of fun. Food was good with options for all tastes and bar drinks were on point.
Everything was good! We enjoyed our time, but the mosquitos on the patio were very active. Food was awesome, especially donuts but nothing special about the appetizers.
Excellent chicken wing appetizer!
Server was attentive and welcoming, and the food overall was enjoyable. Cocktails were about what you’d expect out of a craft bar. Ricotta toast was perfectly balanced, a home run appetizer. Catch of the day with the swordfish and lump crab hit the spot, and the doughnuts were melt-in-your mouth heavenly. Shrimp and grits were very good, except the shrimp was over cooked.
Would recommend as a classy venue for a date-night. The back patio looked like a fun option for groups too.
