The food and atmosphere are amazing! The cocktail list is loaded with great options. Very lively both inside and on the patio. I highly recommend sitting out on the patio if you have the option.
So bomb yo! Off da chainz! Luv me some Pro-hib!!
We did the chef‘s tasting, every dish that came out was better than the next the only Dish that didn’t impress was the flounder.
It was great
Food & service was great! My only issue was we reserved a high-top and they kept trying to push us to sit literally right next to a live band. We eventually got moved and had a wonderful experience!
Server was very nice, overall not very good. We were very disappointed
Great cocktails, Bryce was great our first night. Enjoyed it so much went back a second night and Mike was awesome also
A great place to eat and drink followed by some live music , all in all a very good night out especially if your part of a group !
Menu was very limited with only a few choices for entrees. Shrimp a d grits were good, but not the best I have had. Outdoor patio was nice and the service was very good.
Great place to grab lunch and a drink. When we were there, they had live entertainment. Service was great. Manager stopped by and introduced himself. Very nice gentleman.
Great atmosphere, staff and food. We will definitely be back.
Great food and service. A loud bar atmosphere. It was great for our quick dinner, but unless you want the bar scene for several hours may want to go eksewhere
Delicious food, cool atmosphere with the live band during brunch. Service was a little slow, but the food was worth the wait.
dinner with family
Food was outstanding! Drinks even better! Atmosphere is oerfect
We went after our daughter’s graduation Saturday. It was perfect for a fun celebration! Service and food were awesome!
I drove from a Myrtle Beach just to have Mike make me his signature drinks! Best food, ambiance, experience, & service!
Terrible night. Service was poor. Our waitress paid very little attention to is. The kitchen was delayed due to a large
event. No one explained it until very late in our visit. Food came out cold and was very mediocre. To their credit they wrote off the bill for the food. Won’t be back and do not recommend
Great experience with a tasty brunch and cocktail menu! We sat in the back patio and it was lovely. The inside seemed a bit cold and loud with a live 2-man band.
Service is great; never waited too long for the food/drinks and accommodating waiter.
Salty, salty, salty. Forgotten by our server, had to keep tracking her down. Too many great places in Charleston to go back.
Reservations were timely! Food and service were amazing. Seating in the back patio was very pleasant, as the live band could be heard, but was not too loud that a conversation could not be held.
Chef Analisa and her team were fantastic. We ordered shrimp and grits and the wings... And they Suprised us with a tasting of the scallops and barrata. Everything was delicious. We arrived right at closing .. but the service and the plating.. and the food was just as good as if thet just opened. Thank you Chef Analisa and the team @ Prohibition Charleston
Wonderful food and atmosphere!
Brussel sprouts and hot wing appetizers are excellent. I want some MORE!!
For cocktails and atmosphere I would recommend. Food was just ok .
Service was spectacular. Enjoyed the patio dining but steel sears are uncomfortable. Sea scallops were the best I’ve had. Wines are good and well priced.
First wine glass came out super dirty and sticky and I could tell the wine had been opened and sitting for days. Music was so loud couldn’t hold a conversation. Waiter told me she personally open a new bottle of wine for my pour and personally took the glass out of the washer- which was clearly not true. Our table was so close to an area that they drop the dishes at that we got sprayed a few time- gross right? They claim they makes mixologist drinks and my husbands old fashion came out with a hand full of ice chips and missing it’s stable garnishes.
Over all not a great date night.
We had a reservation and most of the front of the restaurant was empty. They sat us at a hightop in the back bar which at that time was housing about 40 people waiting for the patio (private event) and another large party. For the first 25-20 minutes we could not hear ourselves nor our server!!!
After everyone left it was wonderful great food, great service and we could enjoy the company we had chosen to have dinner with.
Would have been five stars
It needs to be clear that the menu is eclectic. In fact it’s a weird mix to have a prohibition themed bar with an overly upscale eclectic food menu.
We had a fantastic time at Prohibition. We got drinks (not food), which were superb and inventive. The wait time was not bad despite being a packed house. Our server was wonderfully attentive and friendly. We came for the live blues with Sufferin' Moses - they were awesome! All in all we had a really fun time. The atmosphere and vibe of the place was really great - highly recommend!
Excellent Easter brunch on Sunday. Great food and service plus live music!
Great food and service.
We loved Prohibition! The cocktails were amazing and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The food was INCREDIBLE! The brussel sprouts were to live for. The chicken was perfectly cooked. The burrata was amazing. We went back another night and sat at the bar and totally enjoyed watching the mixologists show their craft (caramelizing the sugar on the apple with a torch was a highlight).
We would go back here in a heartbeat.
Total gem! Great for foodies! Best restaurant we went to in Charleston... highly recommend!
Band was wonderful; waitress was great with information to avoid food allergies
The hostess was absolutely horrible. One of the worst experiences. She was not able to find a table and there were only 20 people in the entire restaurant. Took 10 min to be seated. Food was excellent.
Server was absent minded. Ask for honey. Never brought. Ask for sweet tea. She forgot then I was told it was not ready it was 12:45 on Saturday.
Great waitress! Food was amazing.
my son ordered calamari and it was so salty he couldn't eat it. The lamb was just so-so. Steak was really good and cooked well. Drinks and beer were great!
