Food delicious and service great. A bit noisy if you plan to have a business meeting or date and need to talk, but good ambiance if you’re looking for more if a bar/lounge scene. The big turnoff was the valet. Terrible service for $25 and not part of the restaurant,although, valet is mentioned in the description. I would recommend management to remove the valet from the open table description considering there isn’t a relationship/partnership and it actually decreases the restaurant’s reputation and value. Also, keep in mind the area as it is not safe to walk or even drive in the neighborhood at night.

My husband and I enjoyed his birthday dinner at Probation. Everything was top tier from the DJ playing diverse music, the photographer, the fire show, the seating arrangement, and the lounge in the basement. The only con to our experience is the salmon which was a little undercooked when I made sure to request well done. No other issues. The staff were all pleasant and conversed with the guest which I loved. Thank you Probation DTLA

Was hoping for a great experience and it was awful. Wait staff rushed you from start to finish, they were rude and it was too much money for mediocre food and drinks. There are too many other establishments with same vibe that are far superior, would recommend going somewhere else

A friend and I ate at Proabition DTLA before attending a Great Gatsby event. We weren't real hungry so I ordered the Blackened Shrimp tacos and my friend had the rib-eye tacos. Great flavor. Our server was very attentive, friendly and professional. Will be coming back.

Valeria "V" was fantastic. The front door is situated beside a sewer vent so the stench is horrendous, and they keep the front door open so the smell infiltrates the seating area. The music is dance-oriented and loud. A few performances from a fire dancer were fun. Pork belly Mac n cheese was pretty good. Ribeye tacos were disappointing. Short rib tacos were better. Drinks were good. Chocolate cake was not. Fun Alice in Wonderland theme with a speakeasy down(stairs) the rabbit hole. Decent date spot but I won't be returning.

First time visit on a Saturday night. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the drinks were on point. Definitely recommend! It’s a fun place and I love the Alice in Wonderland theme. We also went down to the speakeasy downstairs which was fun but wayyy too hot. They need to fix their AC system down that. Other than that 10/10.

We went for an early dinner. Our waitress was absolutely fabulous and on point! Our glass of water was never left empty. Truffle fries were delicious.. steak was cooked to perfection! Impossible Burger Bolognese once again .. absolutely delicious

I ordered the chicken dish. It was super dry with almost zero flavor for $30. But the atmosphere of this place is very nice paired with live music. A hidden gem. Especially if they can do something about that chicken.

Proabition is definitely a restaurant to go to to to live the LA experience. The menu is creative and tasty. The ambience is welcoming, relaxing and fun! The service and staff is outstanding and friendly! It’s located in the Toy District near Little Tokyo and they have valet parking or you can use the public parking lot that’s right there! You can also find street parking.

Was lovely! The birthday celebration thing was $50 but fun with sparklers and a sign and singing. It’s very loud but I didn’t mind, just depends on the vibe you’re going for. Ambiance was trendy and fun. Food was just okay. Drinks were good and had fun themes

Food was super yummy! Nice little spot! Only thing was our server didn’t show us a receipt until after we paid and we had paid for the table next to us and we had to wait an extra 20 min trying to get his attention to fix the error. They will email you a receipt no paper

Met with friends at Proabition DTLA on Sunday for their brunch; food was delicious and ambiance was great however I rated them 4 stars instead of 5 stars for the following reasons: 1. One guest received his food at least 10 minutes prior to our party being served; 2. The other 5 guests received their food within 3 to 4 minutes apart which I find unusual if you are trying to receive a 5 star rating for service; and, 3. The music was so loud that we couldn't hear each other speak even though we were sitting across from each other at the same table...I informed our server but the DJ wasn't too receptive...this alone will not have us returning to Proabition anytime soon.
