I wasn’t going to submit a review, but since you asked here goes I’m but there was some I’ll just say there was some mistakes made with my check and stuff like that. It was fixed. It was corrected, but it was a little offputting and didn’t quite get that part. The food was OK. The mashed potatoes were way too salty for my liking Probably won’t go back. I was meeting a friend there. She said she would probably not go back as well, but she did like her buffalo jerk eggrolls.

Interesting experience. We booked using Open Table for 6:15 reservation. We were the only customers on the restaurant. The workers moved half the furniture out of the restaurant as we were walking in. The restaurant was dark. The owner, who greeted us, didn’t address the oddness. We seem to have come a bit early? I asked the hostess, who didn’t appear until we were ending our dining experience, what was the best time to patronize the restaurant and she said 8:00 pm. I had a special note in the reservation and nothing was acknowledged. The music was loud so we asked if they could turn it down and they did. The food was decent. The waitress was kind. I was disappointed that the owner didn’t simply acknowledge “we are in the middle of —-“ or whatever. We stayed because it’s 1) close to home and 2) supporting Black business. I guess I’ll come back after 8? Disappointed with my initial experience.

The pot roast and potatoes meal was too salty and not appetizing. I would recommend friends for the drinks and ambience.

We made a reservation and it was accepted. There were even more times available after our booking. When we got to the restaurant we were informed that the kitchen had already closed.

We were not greeted when we arrived when we asked we were told sit anywhere. After 30 minutes we finally got a menu then we ordered After another 30 min our appetizers came out but no drinks or water. My husband went to the bar and got drinks. The appetizers chicken wings and shrimp were good. I ordered a burger well done it came out Raw and my daughters salmon dinner never came. Talk to the owner advised him what happened he didn't not offer an apology he told the waitress to take it off the hill and walked away we left and took my daughter to McDonald's as it was late and she had school. I would never go back.

I’ve been meaning to stop by this restaurant for the longest although they don’t have any vegan options, I ordered the asparagus, broccoli, and waffle fries which I’m sure was cooked in butter, but I had to support this black owned business with more than just a drink purchase. The Sizzle drink was really tasty and a bday was going on at the time I visit, so it was a double treat to get to enjoy the DJ with all of the classics. I look forward to returning with more of variety.

On Sunday, 4.23.2023 I had reservations for 4pm when they were supposed to open. They not only didn't open at 4pm, they still hadn't made a move towards the door even though we saw movement inside. We gave them 15+ minutes and called the number from the Open Table reservation which they did not answer. The gate was locked and the parking lot gate was closed so you couldn't park on lot. This was their 2nd and last chance. Went in Sept 2022 and it took an hour to cook a pork chop and the other meal was held making the meat luke warm. This is why black owned businesses have a hard time. DON'T GO
