   They were very busy the evening we were there, so we let the waitress know that we weren't in a hurry. We were looking forward to some scrumptious Cajun food, but it was somewhat disappointing. We had spicy egg rolls as an appetizer -- very spicy indeed. And we had jambalaya and crawfish etouffee -- neither of which was memorable. I think it's classless to bring a bottle of beer to a table with no glass. She even asked when the beer was ordered if he would like a glass and he said yes -- but no glass until it was requested again. My martini, on the other hand, was delicious -- kind of the high point of my meal! When our dinner was done the waitress made it very clear that she was ready for us to clear out.

   Ended up at the bar vs our table for dinner and couldn't have been more pleased. Thank you, Joey for a great time. Favorite place in Lexington!!!

   Really liked the ambiance and the food. They were pretty accommodating although several of their menu items were already out at lunch on a Monday, so that was weird. Also, they don't have bar staff in the afternoon, so only beer and wine available.

   Husband and I came hear on date night. Very cool atmosphere and very good food. My only complaint is that the service was poor. I think they were training some people so I'd be willing to try this place again.

   Great place for a business meal. Quiet yet good vibe from the outside patios to the private rooms. Cloth napkins would be a plus in this environment. The shrimp and Grits were a favorite, however the blacked red fish won the prize this evening.

   Our second time dining at the restaurant. We were so impressed the first time (last year) but left this time feeling a little disappointed. Even wondered if the chef or management/owner had changed. The food was good but not outstanding (as last year) the shrimp and grits were literally swimming in a bowl of sauce, so that the shrimp and the grits were lost. The special of the day (blackened redfish) was good, but the sides were a bit heavy-handed on the plate. The salad was non-descript. Even the drink we ordered last year was not the same. It was mostly water. :-) Service was excellent though (Janice)

   Ate at Private Property for the first time Monday for dinner. I had to ribeye and it was excellent!! Probably one of the best steaks I have ever had....a bit pricey but worth it. The drinks were different and delicious. The service was very good, friendly and gave good recommendations. We will definitely go back.

    Enjoyed blackened gator and Mardi gras pasta. Attentive waitress, great food, and overall great dining experience.
