Print Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
This was a repeat visit. Our last dinner experience was so good, our family of five unanimously decided to go there for brunch. What a great choice it turned out to be. All types of egg dishes that we ordered turned out to be great. I will simply summarize by stating that Print is a phenomenal continental restaurant.
Another great night at Print, and at the Press Room bar on the roof. Print is our go-to guests-in-town spot. It is always good. The menu is creative and has options for all and the staff are THE BEST! Professional, but never distainful. Flexible, easy-going and fun.
We had a great meal! The server, James, was wonderful- he explained where the food and wine came from and was really friendly. The food was all delicious- the burrata was my favorite. Definitely recommend for a date or if you want something close to the theaters but higher quality.
While beautiful setting, the food in terms of taste was lacking. I had the brisket, my husband the scallops . Both presentations were outstanding but the taste was just ok. Frankly my husband's dishes at home are tastier. I think the chef needs work in the spicing, ingrediants area. At these prices, I wouldn't go back even though the restaurant is beautiful. Also while our waiter was terrific, and the water guy made sure to refill our water throughout, the bus boys whisked away my plates from me while i still had my spoon in my mouth. very annoying.
Very nice restaurant within walking distance of Theatre Shows. Our entrees were the Scallops and the Duck. I thought the scallops were great. Duck was very nice but thought it a little passed the requested medium rare. Wine by the glass was a healthy pour and service was as expected. We were there before a show, so it was very quiet. I imagine it is quite the spot as the evening goes on. Will keep it on our list of places to visit again next time we are in NYC
I selected Print for a business meal, as the location was where I needed, and there weren't that many to choose from of this type of restaurant along 10th or 11th. Print over-delivered! Food was fantastic. From the Lamb Meatballs, to the Blood Orange Salad, to the Duck. Everything was delicious. Came back the next night and sat at the bar, as I was solo and had a Manhattan and Burger that were equally as good!
My friend and I were looking for a place near Hell's Kitchen for brunch and this popped up on Google. It was perfect. We are vegetarians (but eat eggs) and they had a nice selection of food options for us. I'd like to return and try their lunch and dinner options.
It’s a good restaurant with good decor and atmosphere. My waiter was very attentive and maybe too much so at times but he was very good. The food was ok the burrata was another take on buratta that so many restaurants are doing. I ordered the duck and it was cooked to perfection. This place seems a bit plane in concept but the food is pretty good. I wouldn’t come for a special occasion but would be very pleased this was in my hotel after a bunch of travel.
Everyone was thoroughly impressed! Delicious food, excellent service, beautiful space. I ordered a glass of wine, and the server brought the bottle to the table to confirm that it was the right one before pouring it for me. Never seen that for a single glass before, but it allowed me to be sure I was getting what I had ordered and what I was paying for. Classy move! Thanks for everything.
I have dined at Print several times over a couple of years and have never been disappointed. The menu is varied but not too unusual. I thought the quality of the food was excellent. Service is good but not intrusive and the noise level was moderate. I would definitely recommend even if it is somewhat out of the way.
Wonderful Christmas meal around a perfect cove like table. Food was excellent and interesting and beautifully presented. Good portions - not overwhelming.
But a 2 course meal for 5 with one bottle of wine and 3 other alcohol drinks cost $450 so cannot justify value for money.
Exceptional service, delicious if pricey cuisine and creative decor define this hotel based restaurant. After Spring Natural Kitchen decided to close on Christmas Day at the last minute and cancelled our reservation with no apology (!), we were able to get a reservation at Print and are now so happy Spring cancelled. Service was very friendly but not hovering, questions were answered with informed and interesting responses. From appetizer to dessert the food was great. I especially enjoyed my entree of scallops and fennel. Though the restaurant was busy we had a relatively private table and a lingering meal. It was a little noisy though, my only negative. As we paid, our wonderful waiter suggested we check out the bar on the roof for the incredible view, definitely a must see and a terrific way to top off the evening.
Went for a family lunch on Christmas Day having booked specially a month in advance. From the website we were expecting a special seasonal menu but it didn't appear to be anything particularly Christmassy. The food was great though - all three courses were delicious. The service - not so much. We didn't seem to have a single server looking after us so had to grab whoever we could. We also felt like we were being rushed with the food coming out almost instantly when we wanted to linger over a leasurely celebratory lunch. Also the staff seemed to lack the etiquette niceties one would expect at an upscale restaurant at this price point - eg clearing dishes before everyone had finished eating.
We were very impressed with the layout of tables to accommodate varying party sizes. Ours was perfect for the 3 of us. The menu offers many wonderful choices and everything tasted fantastic. Probably one of the best tasting meals we had in NYC over the Christmas Holiday. We did feel as if the dinner was served very quickly, staff removing dishes too quickly which took away from the ambiance of enjoying our family evening together and meal. We tried to stretch it out a bit by sharing a desert but were presented our check shortly thereafter. Would strongly recommend this restaurant and would return when in NYC again.
Came here to celebrate my fiance's birthday with our two closest friends and everything was just perfect. We enjoyed the delicious food and very attentive service and hospitality. I have been to many restaurants in new york and Print is definitely at the top of the list. Thank you.
Print Restaurant is an excellent option for dinner with friends, date night or a celebratory dinner. I went to Print to celebrate my friend's birthday and the staff knocked it out the park with their celebratory spirit. The cuisine screams farm to table with the freshness and the innovation with the menu options. The first must have starters are Artisan Rye Sourdough Bread and the Six Widow's Hole Oysters which are as delectable and delicious as the menu describes. My entree was Fettuccine with Braised Pork Shoulder and it was fantastic. I left the restaurant thinking about when I would be back to have this again.
Really nice overall experience for a pre-theater dinner. Food was delicious and the atmosphere and decor were very pleasing. It's a bit of a walk to the theater district but well worth it to avoid the crush and stress of pre-theater dining in the district itself. The rooftop bar was closed for a private event when were there but look forward to going back and experiencing that as well. Go and enjoy!
