Don’t miss the intimate setting of The Dens adjacent to the restaurant where specialty cocktails are handcrafted and complemented by our light fare menu. Another option, before or after dinner, is to relax at our year-round rooftop lounge, The Press Lounge, for cocktails and unobstructed views of Manhattan and the Hudson.
Print Restaurant and the Press Lounge offer flexible options for private dining, corporate events and social gatherings. Whether it’s a seated dinner for 85 people in Print’s intimate dining room, or a cocktail reception for 350 people overlooking Manhattan’s skyline at the Press Lounge.View Private Dining Details
I love this restaurant. The food is always good. The service is great and they have the rooftop
for drinks before or after. In fortunately , the roof was closed for a private event this day but
I'm sure I'll be back another night.
we had an amazing meal from drinks to apps to dinner to dessert
The burrata was sublime .......Parker house rolls are a must!!!!!!!!
The monkfish was incredible........one of the best I’ve had anywhere.
Will definitely be back.
Very cool interior with rooftop bar, which closed for a private event the night we went. Very good farm to table food; the menu changes nightly. We had an early reservation (6:15) but the waitress was completely inattentive. Tables that arrived well after us had their food before us. The manager took over our table as the evening went on and was helpful, but it was disappointing that she had to. The soup, salads and halibut ceviche were very good, but my cowboy steak was very fatty and overpriced for what I got.
Excellent Food in relaxed friendly setting with a cocktail beforehand in one of the city most impressive roof top bars!
Lovely restaurant, with excellent farm to table food, and excellent service
Amazing food and service. Loved everything about Print! A great find.
My husband and I went to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary and had an amazing time. The food and service were excellent and our server was so nice. The rooftop is great for drinks before or after, and offers amazing views of the Hudson River and west side NYC skyline . Each time we come here is better than the last.
Perfect location for coming off the cruise ship and meeting friends. Nice atmosphere and excellent service. Great breakfast/brunch menu. Highly recommend.
We never got the chance to dine at the restaurant so only option to give 1 star across all categories as it is a mandatory field.
Leaving review as I would t want anyone else to be disappointed as we were.
Booked a table at the Print restaurant on the basis of rooftop bar.
Arrived at the hotel to see a sign stating the rooftop bar was closed due to a private function.
Very disappointed. We weren’t told when we made the booking. I even rang the hotel to check as were visiting NYC for the weekend.
We went across the street to the Mexican restaurant which is also a rooftop bar. Had the best time. Print lost out we gained.
Their selections were based on local fresh produce and seafood. The seasonal menu matched the available produce in local farmers markets in Union Square. The presentations were interesting and the food was carefully prepared. Overall an excellent dinner choice.
Lovely lunch I was hoping to spend time at the roof deck but unfortunately it was closed until 5pm that was the initial allure, respectfully the restaurant did seem a little sterile but that could be attributed to the time of day. I appreciated that we were able to get an earlier table than the initial 1:45pm time but again due to the early time the atmosphere seemed low key. Quality food and keen service. I will return to appreciate the roof deck. Convenient location near the Intrepid which was helpful.
The restaurant was relatively empty and the server still got my order wrong. She was not super attentive and we had to wait a long time until she came back to check on us. The food was not hot and the plate was too small so that it was difficult to cut.
This is our second time having dinner here. Food is really amazing, service is wonderful, very friendly and attentive staff. One would think that a hotel restaurant wouldn't be that great, well don't miss this one. It's right up there with some of the best. Of course you need to have Manhattans when you're in Manhattan and they make a Smokey Rye version to die for. Grilled octopus appetizer large enough for 2 people to share and the scallops melted in my mouth. And save room for dessert. We shared the Bombe, a yummy Pistachio cake, strawberry ice cream, vanilla ice cream and a dark chocolate glaze.
Great for a nice work lunch
Estuvimos recordando nuestra luna de miel en ese hotel hace 8 años y nos sorprendieron con un postre y un chocolate escrito feliz aniversario.
Luego subimos a the Press Lounge, el rooftop con las mejores vistas de midtown! Tragos deliciosos. Vayan!
Service was excellent, food outstanding totally enjoyable dinner!
Great moment. The oysters’ very fine flavour is enhanced by the exceptional Portuguese white wine.
Excellent service. Excellent food. Dazzling deserts.
The noise level was deafening. There was a table that were so loud that they ruined the whole experience for not only is but the people around.
I've been to Print many times and I will return. However, this visit was not pleasant. Our server was very aggressive in his recommendations, even when we said we already knew what we wanted. He kept talking about options (coincidentally the most expensive items) and did not stop talking for questions or comments for quite a few minutes. It was uncomfortable. A second server walked over and said he was serving us, so we had to order the starter a second time. We never saw this guy again and the starter didn't come out until right before our meal. Both the mahi-mahi and the wild mushroom dumplings were way too salty, the fingerling potatoes were bland. Overall, the dining experience was only saved by going upstairs for a drink with a view.
Great food, wines and cocktails. Loved the ambience and aesthetic. Rooftop is also a great after dinner spot for fantastic views of Midtown.
the price of glass of wine is way OVER priced, food is good, but restaurant is increasing its prices making it not worth the value
Salty! All the ingredients were delicious but too salty
Every time we go we’re surprised by how inventive and terrific the food is. You can feast on the appetizers alone (octopus, shrimp with risotto). You can’t fail with any of the fish. Also, as several reviews have noted, the service is extraordinary. If we lived in the neighborhood we’d go once a week.
My wife and I celebrated our 33rd Anniversary, we had WELLFLEET OYSTERS that were fantastic, (from Florida and different then we were used to), my wife had SEARED SEA SCALLOPS that were cooked to perfection and I had roasted Rabbit, never had it before and it was delicious! For desert we had Bombe and BLOOD ORANGE SOUFFLE, so so yummy! From the time we came in the door to when we left the service was top notch! They set the bar for everyone else to reach. Pricing was very fair.
Our server was so great, he made us feel relaxed and treated us like royalty, many complements to the Chef!!! Thank you for making our Anniversary so special!!!!
Menu great, food perfect beyond belief, staff professional and friendly.
We were looking for somewhere to have dinner after a matinee. We had hoped to start with a drink on the rooftop but it was closed for a private function. The restaurant, located right off the hotel lobby, had a pleasant open feel. We had cocktails, a starter and main each - I just wish we had skipped the rolls as we filled up on them. (They were okay, not crusty, not served with enough butter and not included with the price of the meal). We both had the beet salad and the tile fish. Very fresh ingredients, well prepared. For those of you wondering about meal pricing (the website has no prices listed), the pre-theater prix fixe is $52 for 3 courses, salads are in the $12 range and most entrees are priced mid $20s to mid $30s with some higher. Most cocktails and wines by the glass are $15-20.
Came here for bestie birthday... food was just ok. I ordered the Pork chops and she ordered the scallops.. service was definitely excellent tho! Will recommend to everyone!
Limited menu where you fell like you get charged for everything - even bread. While the bread was in fact delicious, I just hate the notion of paying for it. Offer something considering prices. Service was ok, friendly but a little inexperienced.
Really great food and service. Pasta was delicious!!
We went to Print to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was perfect! When we arrived we were greeted with a cute little card wishing us a Happy Anniversary. The menu selection had choices for all tastes. The service was courteous, friendly and efficient. At the end, they surprised us with s complimentary after dinner.
The restaurant is in a hotel located off the hustle and bustle of NYC and yet easily accessible.
Can’t wait to go back.
Great food, good service. Nice to go before or after some drinks at the rooftop bar.
The grilled octopus was great, and cold soup light and tasty, Service was perfect, close to the intrepid so was great pre dinner before swing night
We were celebrating a birthday which we'd mentioned in passing when the reservation was confirmed. We were surprised and pleased to find a candle on the dessert. Good food and service and a pleasant atmosphere. The only minus was an ill-stocked restroom. A bonus was running into friends at another table by chance!
Wonderful farm to table restaurant. Beautiful ambiance. Plenty of options for people like me who like exquisitely prepared vegetables. Excellent wines. Kind and perfectly attentive service (not too much, not too little).
My most favorite restaurant in New York. Reina treats us like kings:)
Good ‘American’ restaurant with the usual (a bit too quick) service.
Good interesting menu, friendly welcome and staff. It was my birthday and we were given a card and cake. Thanks Print. We had pre dinner drinks at the roof top bar, Press Lounge (part of the restaurant, both separate from the hotel). Barman at the roof bar needs training from restaurant staff! But, worth visiting for the views.
Great dinner and service. Definitely planning to go back again soon.
Very interesting array of food choices, beautifully presented, and beautifully prepared.
As always, first rate. Service is exceptionally good. Menu is innovative without being weird or pretentious; food is expertly prepared and presented. The Press Lounge, the rooftop bar, is pretty pricey, but beautiful and definitely worth a visit. This is the N.Y. restaurant I take visitors to town to in order to impress them... and it never fails!
