Print Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Celebrated my birthday with friends, the food was absolutely delicious. We shared appetizers and each had an entree. The service was quick, it was a dinner before the show. We came back to the Press lounge after the show, the ambiance, the views are outstanding! Already planning to come back
Beautiful restaurant in a hotel. Wanted to have drinks first in the upstairs bar but it doesn’t open until 5. Food was yummy. Pricey though. We came from a matinee for an early dinner. If you’re going to theater note that the location is a bit of a walk. If you don’t mind a longish walk and the weather is decent then it’s fine. I’d go back for sure.
We had a great server. The California piinot noir was very good and well priced. Lamb meatballs were exceptional. Order extra bread for the sauce. Also the sea bass and pumpkin dumplings were popular at our table. Loved the donut but the lemon sorbet had too much bite. Great place for groups who like to share.
Disappointing the rooftop bar was closed for an event. I had added in my booking that we would like to go there first but weren’t told it wasn’t open so we had to have pre dinner drinks in the lobby bar where the service wasn’t great and the Cosmopolitan cocktails weird! However the restaurant much better- fabulous food albeit rather expensive.
Fabulous dining and personable service. The food was excellent, including the fish dishes which I don't usually eat. Cooked and presented in a memorable way. Housed in a former printing press building, the decor is clever with a story behind it which you don't need to know to enjoy it. Also, it's off the tourist circuit, located at 11th & 48th so is a less hectic experience both in getting and being there. I can't recommend it enough. Give it a try. Guaranteed you'll love it.
We had dinner in one of their private rooms which was quiet enough for conversation but not so quiet that you didn't feel part of the action. The staff was very friendly, personable, and accommodating. The food was delicious and the rooftop bar (The Press Lounge) had amazing views of the city!
I’ve enjoyed numerous meals at Print over the years. Dinner seems the best time to go because service, value, and quality are in rhythm. This lunch meal was off. The menu had too few vegetarian options and the prices didn’t align with the quality or portion. The up-sell approach of our server was overt and off putting. They seem to assume everyone is in for wine and a slow-coursed afternoon meal. We finally had to explain we were ready to order and were there only for quick biz lunch. Our server lacked self awareness but thankfully our back waitress didnt — she understood our needs. I’m taking Print off my list of for lunch.
Very loud here normally but tonight was doable. Food is great here and the service is really on point. I actually liked the menu previously better , I found this time around it was not as impressive but still solid. I like that they change it up seasonally .
Beautiful venue and great food! The hotel of the restaurant has a rooftop view where you can see the Hudson River. Very scenic and romantic. Had a wonderful waiter named Miguel, who really made my friends and I dining experience wonderful. Definitely will be returning and recommending PRINT!
Creative menu offering a choice of seasonal items prepared with great tasting spices that intrigue the taste buds.
Service was responsive. We were not rushed out after a certain amount of time.
Very enjoyable. I've been there several times and always enjoy the experience.
Working where I do, while there are many options for lunch and dinner, there aren't many upscale options for lunch in the area. Print is one of those locations where you feel the experience is more upscale and the food I've had to date is excellent. Was there a few years ago and the quality is hasn't changed.
Went there for my birthday with my friends and must say I enjoyed the ambiance and food. Had the mixed lamb grill which was flavorful and seasoned well. Had the maple cheesecake which was also good. Definitely would recommend this place for special occasions.
Print was such a find! It was one of the best restaurants we have ever been to in the City. The food was fresh and delicious and beautifully prepared. Our server was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and quick with a suggestion. The ambiance was hip but not aggressively so. But most importantly, we loved every morsel of food that was served to us!
Birthday Dinner for Two.
The menu is fabulously different. We had octopus, linguine, pork chop and quail. Dessert was equally creative and very well executed.
Service was exemplary. Quick, friendly and efficient.
We were pleased with the sound level too. So many places these days sound like a school canteen. Print had ambience, but was quiet enough to hear each other speak.
