Print Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Overall, exquisite food & romantic ambience. The food is flavorful, subtle, farm-to-table. The environment is gorgeous -- candle-lit & atmospheric. And the service is attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed the black sea bass & duck confit, as well as the autumn salad.
After broadway show, we had a quick 15 min walk to restaurant. We were seated immediately. Starters and drinks were served right away and they were delicious. Dinner options were inventive and what was ordered was magnificent. Andreas was our server and he was attentive, knew the menu really well, made excellent recommendations and was a pleasure to engage with due to his great sense of humor. Strongly recommended restaurant.
We thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant our first night in NYC to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food was unique & well prepared. The service was very good. And do enjoy drinks & appetizers beforehand at the rooftop bar overlooking the Hudson River - very special.
We enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving dinner at Print. Love the atmosphere and the food. The service, however, was lacking. Our waitress was not what we would expect at a restaurant of this quality. Definitely take a trip up the elevator to the roof top bar..beautiful view of the city.
Print deserves its fine reputation. Service was attentive but not intrusive. The sourdough bread with pumpkin sage butter was a nice starter. My sweet potato raviolis in a broth with mushrooms, sca
llions, etc was excellent as was my wife's octopus small plate. She also had the pistachio encrusted halibut which was very good. Definitely worth a visit.
Celebrated my birthday with friends, the food was absolutely delicious. We shared appetizers and each had an entree. The service was quick, it was a dinner before the show. We came back to the Press lounge after the show, the ambiance, the views are outstanding! Already planning to come back
Beautiful restaurant in a hotel. Wanted to have drinks first in the upstairs bar but it doesn’t open until 5. Food was yummy. Pricey though. We came from a matinee for an early dinner. If you’re going to theater note that the location is a bit of a walk. If you don’t mind a longish walk and the weather is decent then it’s fine. I’d go back for sure.
We had a great server. The California piinot noir was very good and well priced. Lamb meatballs were exceptional. Order extra bread for the sauce. Also the sea bass and pumpkin dumplings were popular at our table. Loved the donut but the lemon sorbet had too much bite. Great place for groups who like to share.
Kimpton’s usually have great restaurants ! Not Print. Salads (Burrata and Beet) were both boring- not pretty, not flavorful. Waited 40 minutes for pork chop entree and it was over cooked when it arrived. Staff attempted to compensate by removing items from our bill which was appreciated but a great dining experience would have been more appreciated. Press, the rooftop bar, where we had predinner drinks was amazing!!!
