We arrived early and enjoyed a cocktail at the bar before we took our table, the bartender was very quick to acknowledge us and gave us time to check out the menu, his Moscow Mules he prepared were outstanding.
When we sat down Luis our waiter was very efficient, we started with fresh oysters which were delicious, our mains were octopus and scallops, my wife loved her octopus, expertly cooked, my scallops were amazing so flavourful.
We finished with the home made limoncello, outstanding absolutely outstanding
Loved the ambiance and the food. Late Sunday brunch.
This was our third time dining and we enjoyed it as always. The ambiance and the new seating makes the restaurant even more enjoyable. The food was great and thanks for the free drinks!
Great for a date night . Very romantic setting. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
Allowed to stay as long as we wanted - thank you.
Beautifully presented lunch, but taste was not that exceptional.
Service was outstanding.
Choices on menu not particularly unique.
Really good food in a great hotel. Prices in keeping with a moderately priced NYC restaurant.
This was our second visit to the restaurant and we once again had a wonderful experience. Brianna and Cynthia in particular were very warm and welcoming and made us feel special, as it was also my birthday. They went the extra mile to look after us. We had a slight issue with the appetizer as it was very spicy and Brianna took care of it in a snap. Will definitely come back here again.
I was looking for a table for 5 at the last minute and Print was available. They are very accommodating, we needed to leave early for a show, and they served our food quickly. The food was delicious. This restaurant is 15 minutes walking distance to the theaters and we chose this restaurant because it was convenient to get to our show.
It was amazing Stephen was an incredible waiter. He came back with water with no request, explained the options, engaged us with conversation, exposed me to woodfers reserve bourbon, and even remembered the names of my date and I he was awesome. The food was incredible, the atmosphere was great. Literally 12/10 experience. I wow’d my date.
Print restaurant never disappoints. The food is outstanding and the service from start to finish is exceptional. Bravo! We will return again and again!
Part of the reason we stay at the Kimpton48 Ink is that we can just walk downstairs to have a superbly prepared meal that is inventively prepared but doesn’t ever beer into culinary silliness. I love your restaurant!
My husband and I were thoroughly delighted with our dinner at Print. Everything we tried was fresh, beautifully presented, and delectably tasty. Of special note were the Parker House rolls (warm from the oven, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth yummy) and the duck breast (surprisingly tender, with perfectly caramelized crispy skin). The service was friendly and impeccable, and the ambience delightful - quiet enough for intimate conversation, and busy enough so that we felt we were on-trend and special. We travel to NYC periodically to binge on Broadway shows, and we normally prefer to dine closer to Times Square. However, we are already looking forward to our next dinner at Print.
Had been to Print 9 years ago. It has diminished since my last visit. Felt rushed as they turn over tables. Had a squid dish as appetizer. They brought out appetizers (soup for one and salad for me) and followed too quickly with shared squid. Asked how it was prepared while placing our order. Told it was grilled. It was not. It was chewy.
Cocktails used a sour mix. Shortcut. Meatballs were good. Asked if they were veal as menu outside indicated veal. Inside menu described them without indicating beef/pork/veal. Told that they thought they were beef. Another server might have asked kitchen or provided answer. They were not just beef. But were good.
Food was tasty and the service was great. The portions were very small though
We chose this restaurant based on the positive reviews and, although the acoustics were problematic, the food was incredibly good and the service was impeccable.
Very nice place, great service, food good. Dont miss the Press lounge for an after dinner drink.
Love it! Great please to go before concert or Broadway!
I’ve been to print a few times in the past & was disappointed with my recent visit.
The food took a long time & when it arrived, it was cold. Unfortunately 2 of the 3 meals were sent back so we were unable to enjoy our meals at the same time.
Had a wonderful dinner at print!
Staff needs better training. Our cocktail server on the rooftop had no idea about cocktails. And our server for dinner will you know could not explain the menu properly, leaving us thoroughly confused
Went here for a colleagues birthday and it was such a great experience. The restaurant is lovely, Cat was our server and she was outstanding, although everyone who interacted with us had a great customer service approach and the food was phenomenal. Enjoyed a post dinner drink on the beautiful rooftop patio with stunning views. It made a birthday a special experience.
I love this place! It is in the perfect location and the Hotel is beautiful. The Decor is unique and modern and the bathrooms match and are clean. The Service is very friendly and on top of things. The food is out of this world. We went for brunch and had the Avocado toast, on sour dough with radishes, microgreens and a soft boiled egg (boiled to perfection) it was well seasoned and delicious. The fruit plate was beautiful and fresh, lots of citrus though, if your sensitive. The pastries are out of this world and well worth the calories, along with the Blue Latte, which has Blue Algae in it, it is cobalt blue mixed with the milk, it's like drinking delicious art! This is the second time that I have eaten here and it is better than ever. Coming back soon.
Great menu. The seasonal choices are delicious. This is great for romantic night with your significant other.
Off the beaten path from the Theatre District but well worth the walk. In the lobby of the Klimpton Hotel, Print is a cosy restaurant offering excellent food and pleasant service and surroundings. An interesting menu offering fresh ingredients in an inventive but simple style is top notch. The octopus and short rib dishes were stand outs. The menu includes items that can be built as appetizers, table sharers and entrees, which makes it especially good for groups of four or more. Highly recommend.
2nd time at Print. Dinner and now brunch. Food is delicious and atmosphere very relaxing plus good service. We definitely will go back
First seated for brunch but it took almost 30 minutes to get avocado toast and egg. Food was good, grapefruit juice seemed fresh squeezed. Lots of staff prepping for the day and service seemed like a secondary responsibility to prep/other conversations. If I hadn't had a credit from staying in the hotel I would have likely gone elsewhere. Convenient if you're in the hotel but not a destination on its own.
Lovely experience and I have always loved my dinning experience there! Have been a regular for at least 4 years!
Great farm to table off the beaten path. I had a great lunch there a few years back and sort of forgot about them as I don’t lunch much... but when looking for a place pre theater I decided to try dinner. It did not disappoint and will be a place to have dinner again... with or without theater.
My husband & I think of print as our go to restaurant as place for a special date in Manhattan . It never disappoints.
We have brought friends there and they tell us they have returned. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great place to dine.
Totally disappointed -
Food and service were exceptional.
Really good quality food and service. Quiet, sophisticated setting and service. We booked the restaurant to follow with the Press Lounge, which is the roof top bar. We had free cocktails as part of our deal which were ordered in advance of our arrival at the Press Lounge. We were escorted up and our drinks were ready and waiting. The views were jaw dropping and a perfect end to the best night we had in New York!
We brought our kids to the city for a long weekend and had to dine in close proximity to Broadway for the first two nights in order to make our shows on time. Even though the restaurants were good and kid friendly, they were both mad houses. We were hoping for a nice, relaxing meal on our last night. This restaurant was top-notch. The cheese plate, steak tartare and pasta dishes were superb! They also had an excellent wine list! It was quiet, kid friendly (though not kid themed any way...yay!) and delicious! It was the exact type of place we were looking for. Though they did not have a kids’ menu, the restaurant is in the bottom of a hotel and is used to having kids dine with them. Therefore, they had several off menu, “kid” items such as burgers and buttered noodles. Both of my kids say that their butter noodles were the best meal they had in NY 😂 We did bring iPads so we could enjoy our meal. Turned out perfect! We were excited to visit Press on the top floor, but it was 21+… But since my six-year-old made a friend at the hostess stand, we were able to go up and check out the view for a few minutes! Really pleased with our service and will definitely go back on future trips to the city!
Another great evening at Print. I’ve been coming since it opened and it just keeps getting better. The new menu and renovation have added even more to appreciate. Staff is fantastic and makes a regular evening a special occasion. We had the special tagliatelle pasta with squid ink and lobster and the kale salad and it was delicious! Make sure to have drinks on the roof afterwards!
Great service. Really liked their special where they lead us up to rooftop bar at end of meal for a complimentary drink. Smart move on their part because we discovered the rooftop bar and loved it.
Delicious farm-to-table restaurant located at the lobby of the Kimpton Ink48 Hotel. Very convenient since we were staying at the hotel already and it was nice to sit down for a nice new year's eve dinner. Highly recommend the breakfast + lunch menu as well. It's a little pricey but the food is yummy.
Complex food preparations
Great meal. Attentive, and not overbearing service. The meatballs and persimmon small plates were amazing.
Best service, meals were prepared beautiful and served hot. Drinks were generous pours. Will be back!
what a christmas lunch, everything was absolutely perfect:food, beverage, atmosphere thanks all
